Phantom said coldly, but wanting it to sound warm. "Quin will understand that. I thank you for your offer but I don't think I can handle much more moving around."

Phantom lowered her voice to a whisper. "It wasn't your fault that it didn't survive, it had to be coming. I always traveled, always lived somewhere else, it felt great to be in one place for so long, and now I have to do the moving thing again. I will only do it once, I won't put Kara through what I had to go through." Phantom hung her head and put it in her hands, still having tears running down her face.

Phantom went into the room at the far back of the shop and layed down in the bed. She curled up and started to silent sobs again.

Phantom sat up, still crying. "I just lost the closest thing I had to a real home." Phantom hugged her knees. "At least Kara will know where it all really began with her father and I, and she can watch him work... When he comes back that is."

"Kara will miss all that space though, and so will I. I have never lived in a place so big, and loved it. That place felt like home in my heart, and then it gets burned down to the ground." Phantom leaned on the wall and closed her eyes. "Kara will miss that place more then me, because she was born theree and lived there. For less time then me, but still all her life."

"She is asleep in her half made crib in the shop. AWAY from the sharp objects." Phantom smiled a little. "I don't want her to melt anything, she may not be able to burn someone, but I think she could do what ever she wanted to do with metal."

"Well you have fun with that, she also has a new trick. She will take her fire ball and bounce it on your head without burning you." Phantom layed back down. Phantom sudenly gasped in pain. "Oh yeah, thats right, got a huge burn on my back." Phantom turned so she was on her stomach.

Lily sighed. "Oh let me see." She siad pulling up the back of Phantoms shirt. Sure enough there it was bold as day a huge burn across he back. Lily thought for a moment. "How bo you treat burns?" She asked herself.
