No. I'm kinda disturbed by the fact that they advertise that its a "typical" american teenager, that they made the girl part of the band and are having it turn out the way it is, by the commercials.

It is turning the way it was in the commercial. But in all honesty, while it may not be every teen, there is a large portion of teens that face that problem. But shockingly it is a good show.

I have an Ob/gyn nurse for a mother so I heard horror stories of every girl she saw between the ages of 12 (yes twelve) and 19, but hey it was one way of reinforcing her wait till marriage talk.

My moms way was putting me in honors and advaced classes to keep me away from that sort. And encouraging me to have friends that were both boys and girls.

My parents didn't care what classes I took or who my friends were, as long as I wasn't doing anything dangerous or illegal.Though if I would have taken a path they didn't like they probably would have done something about it. It just happened that I ended up on the path they liked best. Though after my brother, just remaing a c-b student in middle classes and a few friends would have made them happy (though he is doing like 300% better than in high school now).

Well then those parents are lucky. But more rebel when forced. Course hey if they didn't, Shrinks would be out of proly about a quarter of their patients lol.

Though it would proly be a relief to the shrink not to have to listen to "What did we do wrong?" or "It's all their fault" all day.
