Hattie turned her head toglare at the woman walking away before she return her attention to Syx. She smiled brightly. "Maybe your brother can talk some sense into mine. You know, kid sister to kid sister." She chuckled. "He's about, 6 minutes older than me. I was too stubborn to come out, I think." She felt her pocket vibrate and took out her Comm. "Speak of the Devil." She smirked, seeing Cale's face on the screen.

Syx shrugged, "possibly could, but he's probably just as obnoxious, not really grumpy...but he's damn well obnoxious." Syx glanced after Cassandra, having not heard much of the conversation between the two, and wondering what all the heat was about.
Tu walked over and stood next to Syx. "Ruby sent a message, she and Arch ran in with the ship and are going to be helping them out some. She says she'll meet up with us later, and all is well."
"She could have called us and told us she was all right earlier." Syx grumped, but smiled as she continued to play with the kitten.
Tu scoffed slightly, "Honestly, Syx, I'd think you'd have been aware of the pattern by now."

Hattie looked down at her brothers face, seeing a familiar uniform behind him. "Have you been arrested?!" She screamed at the screen, seeing the added faces of two of her Crew members and the other two crew members of Cale's.
Cale just smirked. "Illegal Cloud Racing on Uni 9." She glared at her brother. "Stop smirking! It ain't cute, Cale! How the HELL am I going to help you? And you know Camine AND Kirill are wanted murderers! If you get them jailed, I'll nail your a** to the wall!" She was all but screaming at the screen.
Hattie looked up helplessly at Syx and Tu as they spoke about Ruby. "I'm supposed to planning my wedding....." She sighed heavily. "Keep the link clear, Cale. I'll fingure out a plan."

Syx laughed, "Should know better, doing something illegal." Despite her playful and obnoxious attitude, Syx liked laws, and liked adhering to them. She worked in the legal system after all, as a marshal.
Tu grinned, being the pirate sister, and the one who was more prone to shun laws, despite her more conservative nature. "We have a sister who is a very good lawyer if you need the help, or we could just bust your brother and friends out easily enough."
"We could not," Syx protested.
"It's easy as pie, Syx, and more efficient than trying to mess with a useless legal system which punishes the poor and frees the rich."
"The legal system would work fine if you and yours worked with it." Syx argued. "You're just adding to the problem."

Hattie laughed loudly. "Well, I happen to be a very sneaky Pirate. In fact, I think I have one of the highest bounties out on my head." She wasn't worried about saying this in front of Syx. If worse came to worse, she had a secret weapon in her ship that would deal with Syx easily enough. She leaned over to Halise and whispered something to him. He disappeared into the ship and came out moments later with a silk bundle in his hands.
"I'll need to do something... Kirill is wanted for Murder and Camine is of a dangerous race of wanted Demon like thingies. Plus, if my brother remains in custody, he'll be given back to the Slavery system." She paused, looking at Tu. "You think you could help?"

Cassandra resigned herself to being hated by yet another scoundrel and vanished down the corridors of Osis, where hopefully Mizrahi or someone trying to stop her from finding him--or heck, even some extraordinarily unhelpful Hunter who leads her on a wild goose chase to relieve their mutual boredom--would show up soon.

Syx chuckled, "My sister's a pirate too, and you don't see me arresting her...well, I did it once, but then she beat me up afterward."
Tu nodded, "I could help. I've got some good connections."
"So long as you remember I'm not one of those connections, I don't get involved with illegal activities." Syx tossed in.

Hattie smiled at Syx. "Well, you can have this anyways." She reached up and grabbed for Kevin. She pulled the purring bundle into her arms and scratched his ears. "Halise, hand her the blanket." Halise carefully handed over the bundle of blankets in his arm to Syx.
"I'm not sure where he's being held." Hattie said to Tu.

Captain shook his head.
"You have excellent connections. You all are friends of Jarred and Eric aren't you? We happen to owe them a great many debts of gratitude. They do things that we otherwise couldn't due to politics, polices, non-aggression pacts, system boundaries, things like that. I'm sure we can arrange for Cale to get off on his charges and have the records vanish."
And, as if on a que, Dr. Johachim Mizrahi stepped from an adjoining doorway, almost walking into cassandra.

Hattie turned to Captain. "You can help me get my Crew and my brother safely?" She paused. "I have two wanted murderers in their custody right now... I'm not one hundred percent sure that they are innocent, either..." She paused again, chewing her lip in serious thought. "But I'd trust them with my life."
