Kolo didn't know what a honey-suckle was, but he didn't want to let Akiko know that. "Yeah! Sure." He said, with really nothing better to say, I mean what was he going to say, no? Tenmoki-Sensei might get mad for not helping someone out. He didn't want to be rude. He looked at the basket, and noticed that Honey Suckles were a flower. Tenmoki-Sensei was making something with flower? That was a strange concept for Kolo, who didn't knwo whow to cook. "Where do we find honey suckles?" He asked, letting her know that he didn't know all he let on.

"Ah? They grow just about everywhere, I think. I found these three growing on fences--I believe they're climbing plants. Here, this book she gave me should explain it a little better..." She removed the herbology book that Aunt Yuki had given to her and flipped to the bookmarked page. She flipped the book and held it up to him for a good thirty seconds or so.
Honey Sickle
The honey sickle is a purple flower with plastic like petals that all deeply embed it self into the flower. The Honey Sickle produces a sweet nectar that is wonderful tasting and good to eat.
Locations: Everywhere
Detect DC: 15
Effects: +1HP and +1CP
Note: Not used in any alchemy, but a good plant to eat on the road.
Special: Yuki needs 9 cloves of the purple flower. Find some other students to help you!
Special 2: Use the book as a reference to get +5 to your roll. You can only use it twice though!
"I found a few here," she continued, withdrawing the book-holding arm, "but I don't want to overharvest from here. I'm thinking of exploring the village a little bit to see if I can't find a few more. You can come along if you want, but either way I have to lock up." She pulled out a silver key and secured the door before tucking the book away and heading out.

Kolo read the book a little intrigued. 'So this is how she makes her special candy....' Kolo thought as he followed Akiko. He wanted to help her, it would be a good learning experience. He noticed that the place they were going, he had never been too. It looked like this was going to be an adventure. Kolo wanted to know what it was like to find this stuff. He wanted to hurry up though, so he could go to the ceremony.

Akiko strolled up with her full basket in hand. She was glad she managed to get this out of the way, but there was so much more she still had to do. For one, she had to get inside and cook these flowers. For another, she still hadn't made much headway on her homework. She decided to work on that when she could but to focus on getting the candy out of the way. That, at the least, had a more pressing deadline.
Before she entered, though, she wondered if she'd be able to perform the technique before Aunt Yuki. She knew her aunt to be a rather strict grader, so she had to be at her best. She started off by summoning the chakra cloud around her, but she wasn't able to concentrate on a form. The clouds cleared, leaving Akiko standing there, her arms held out in the Ram symbol. She felt like an idiot. "Hnnngh," she moaned, dropping her eyes a bit.
She walked into the house and noticed her aunt's sandals already there. She hadn't realized how long she had taken. "I have the flowers, Aunt Yuki!" she called out, hurrying into the kitchen.

Yuki was setting up all the equipment to make the delicious candies as Akiko came in. "Wonderful, darling! I'll make these quick and then we should be heading out soon," Yuki noted as she began mixing the items together to make the candy. She really wanted to teach Akiko the recipe, but they were running late and this all needed to be done quickly. There was always another day to show Akiko how to make her special candies. A she swirled the thick mixture around, Yuki scooped out the candy into a bowl and then continued to put them in wax paper rappers. "We should get heading out now. How far are you in your henge, doll?" Yuki asked as she slipped her sandals back on and began heading out the door.
Akiko: +5 to next roll.

Aunt Yuki seemed to be in quite a hurry. She took her basket and immediately became a maelstrom of activity. Akiko was wondering when she'd teach her how to cook the candies, but Aunt Yuki seemed to be doing it all herself. Akiko was asked about her henge, so she figued she had best show her aunt. She looked inward, focusing on the image of the woman before her. The chakra rose around her, twisting about her form as it enshrouded her. She emerged from the cloud, having assumed a striking image of her relative. She opened her eyes, but Aunt Yuki was already gone...
Akiko sighed. She had been left behind again...

Kolo arrived at the Tenmoki house, wrapped up in his thoughts. He had almost his turn several times. He was so excited that his cousin was about to graduate the academy he had just enrolled in. He thought that maybe Akiko would open the door again when he knocked, so he decided that just before he did, he would transform into his cousin. He formed the seal of the ram, and focused his chakra. He heard the now customary POOF and the smoke that encircled him. He released the rest of the chakra, and looked at himself. He had convinced himself, but he didn't know if anyone else would be fooled. He knocked on the door, and waited for someone to answer.
HENGE NO JUTSU EPIC WIN!!!
Kolo wants to know where the graduation ceremony is, and thinks that Shin would be able to find out better than Kolo.

Akiko dropped the henge in disappointment. She was hoping she could show off her skills, but without an audience it was pointless. She sat down by the kitchen table, exhausted from the day's work. It was only a few minutes later that she heard someone at the door. She sprinted to it, thinking it was Yuki who remembered her. When some stranger was waiting at the door, her face dropped. "Ah... my apologies, I was expecting someone. Can I help you... sir?" She rubbed her bleary eyes, thinking she saw something else for just a quick moment. She began to get the distinct feeling that he wasn't who he appeared to be. "Who are you... I mean, who are you, really?"

Kolo dropped his Henge in dissapointment, it hadn't worked. He looked at Akiko, and said, "Where are the Genin graduating from? I want to see Shin graduate from the academy!" Kolo was really excited, and hopeful that he hadn't missed the ceremony. He looked at her eyes, hoping that this girl who had been picking flowers knew when and where the ceremony was. He reeaally wanted to to see Shin get his headband.

Akiko nodded. "Ah, Aunt Yuki already left. She went over to the village proper just a minute ago. She went..." she paused at this, looking out to find the correct path. She pointed down the trail leading to the middle of the village. "...that way. You might still be able to catch up to her."

Kolo was thankful that he might be able to make it the ceremony after all. He shook Akiko's hand, and ran off to the middle of the village, hoping that he would be able to make it there before the ceremony was over. He wanted to watch Shin get the headband. He realized that only two people he had seen had earned a headband. This island must not have many ninjas, Kolo thought to himself before he arrived at the village proper.

Akiko sighed. She finally had time to work on her Henge. There were no more distractions, no more projects she needed to accomplish. The stress of the day began to come into focus. She tried shaking it off, forming the Ram hand sign in preparation. She tried to perform another Henge, but when the dust settled, Akiko was standing there bent over awkwardly and squeezing her eyes shut. She felt rather foolish yet thankful that she was alone.

She tried again. Everything was wearing down on her: the stress, the exhaustion, the sensation of chakra being jettisoned from her body. It didn't even form the telltale smoke cloud; instead, the chakra rushed away from her and swept outward in a circle. Akiko was at her limits. She started heading to her room, but she collapsed in the hallway and fell into a light slumber. The poor ninja candidate had given her all and come up short. Perhaps the next day would hold better fortune for her...
((Akiko falls asleep until Late Night. If she is undisturbed, she will wake up the next day.))

From one of the upstairs bedrooms, the elder of the Mori siblings, Koyuki, came down into the Living Room, rubbing his eyes and yawning. He had slept longer than usual, today, and was eager to get to learn something from his Aunt, like usual. He called out, sleepily, his eyes still closed," Hello~...? Anyone home...? Aunt Yuki? Oka-san? Imoto~? Anybody...?"
