Desirable Ai Please keep in mind that the whole time you are reading this post, I have nothing against same sex marriages.
On my plane ride back here to Texas from Tokyo, I was listening to the radio. I was changing through the stations and all of a sudden I heard the statement "Same sex marriages". I decided to listen to it for a while, trying to get information.
I've found out, that even if it was to become legal, churchs will not be part of the wedding. They've said that for many states now, so tell me.. what is the point of same sex marriage in America? It's just going to cause bad discussions between everyone, and no matter whether it's legal or not, people will not go with it. I'm not going to sign this for many reasons. I can't say that I'm against same sex marriages, so that's not one of them. But good luck on trying to make it legal, because I highly doubt that it's going to work. Over half of the country dislikes it, so nothing is going to change. If people think that just one person can't change then nothing will change. If someone starts believing in a change, eventually, maybe in days to weeks to years, people and more people won't be scared to go against their precious bibles. -Everything- begins from something. It just needs a push, no matter how small it is.

However, government recognized unions will allow the same benefits to homosexual couples that are given to heterosexual couples. Therefore homosexuals, and supporters, should do all they can to get this single minded country to do what is right. Besides our country is supposed to have a separation of Church and State, so the churches can go screw off. ((this is more to the first post than the second))

Dark_Fairie I think that it would be wrong if the didn't legalize same sex marriages. If two people are really in love then it shouldn't matter what gender they are. Love is Love, it's that simple. And if two people of the same sex are in love then it shouldn't be any different than two people of different genders! I gladly sign ^_^

I support this one hundred percent! Gay Marriages should be legal. One is the fact, it's MARRIAGE. If we do, we are signing ourselves to the person we love. Now, it says in the bible, that God doesn't support Gays and etc. *Really hates this one site..-_-* It's called God hates Fags. Well, it also says that God loves everybody. And if we ask to forgive our sins, then everything shall be forgiven. Atleast, that's what I think. I hate anyone that goes against love and the people who are in it. Man, I mean. You have no right to judge. Guys surely don't judge sluts and whores, but they can judge Gay men? Now, come on. I mean, it's better than a slut. Gay relationships include happiness and sometimes long relationships, and some people like that idea. I know I want someone for a long time. ((this is more to the first post than the second)) Ditto on that one.. i think the stupid churches should just leave us alone and go off with their bushy... but your right a small push could get the ball rolling, and sometimes when you give something a push, it'll start to gather more speed and ball up even more- basically, if you start with something good, something even better might happen.
