{You guys can pester me later when you get hungry!} Khala surveys the remaining youngsters. {Does anyone want to go fishing later?} she asks hopefully. She reeeaaaallllyyyy wants to fish right now!

Freckles jogs after Sforkok and Pax, then starts running. How can they run so fast when they have suck little legs? She leaps ahead of them onto a large boulder and sits there, tail curled around her legs. {Careful now,} she chides them. She smiles to herself, amused by the way the added height lets her see them from above, as well as the tracks they made in the long mountain grass.
((OoC: Should I create a new thread for the fishing so that things don't get too complicated in here with half the people fishing and half of the people still in the cave?))

Pax looked around not knowing where to go exactly. {I know we are going fishing, but where do we fish at?} Pax stopped in his tracks and stared at Freckles waiting on an answer.

Khala watches Pax and Freckles set off with the others that are going fishing with regret. She has an obligation to watch over the youngsters that aren't going fishing, but she dearly wants to go fishing. She grumbles in frustration. {Lucky ones, going off fishing. I wish I could go fishing, but not all are going fishing and Jabari's asleep....}
(OoC: Ony follow that link if your dragon is going fishing. If your dragon is staying in the cave, stay here with Khala. If everyone else goes fishing, Khala will help catch fish.)

Ardelis was one of the last to leave the cave but she didn't mind. Carefully she followed the others out of the cave. Fishing could be interesting even if she only watched the others.

Khala sighs. No sign that Jabari and Emblem are going anywhere soon. She settles down on her belly at the mouth of the cave to watch and wait, wishing the twosome would change their minds, or that she could persuade herself to make a quick fishing trip to bring food back to the young males left behind.

((now that I don't have a term paper to worry about. I can get back to rping :3))
Jabari gave a wide mouthed yawn, his tongue lulling out of his mouth as he looked around the cave. He then noticed how everybody was gone except one other youngster and Khala who was at the mouth of the cave. Giving a stretch like a cat, the young blue dragon then awkwardly bounded towards the other dragon. Stopping mere feet from her before slipping on the cave floor and skidding to a halt, a happy smile on his face as he looked over at Khala.

Khala smiles at the youngster. {Do you want to go fishing with the others?} she asks hopefully, making the appropriate gestures in case little Jabari doesn't understand.

Freckles raced back towards the cave. {Khala! Khala,} she cried, {I've come to say good-bye! Me and Cart and Pax and Sfor are all going to go off to form our own pack. Isn't it exciting?} She bounced towards the mouth of the cave, wiggling around in her excitement. {Oh, Pax and Sfor caught fish! Fish, Khala! More's the shame you couldn't go, but I taught them my special technique, so there's no need to worry or anything.}

Cart followed at a more sedate pace. {Emblem's coming, too, isn't he?} he asked. He turned to Khala. {Good bye, Khala. It's been fun...fishing, hunting, hatching eggs together. We'll see each other again someday. I promise.}

Emblem bounded into the cave and skidded to a halt, small clouds of dust rising around his green feet. {Big sis!} He chirped, trotting up to Khala and nuzzling her. {We'll be back, I promise. And I'll keep Cart from doing anything stupid!} the newly-grown dragon added, a smile on his face. Inside, though, he was desperately sad. He didn't want to leave just yet, one part insisted that he stay. But, the other part of him urged forcefully that there was more out there, that there was more to find. And so, the orange dragon resolved to return here one day with more dragons. {G'bye, Khala..we'll come home soon.} I hope.

Khala nuzzles the foursome, sad to be parting ways with them. {I'll miss you guys a lot. Come visit soon?} Looking around and not seeing Pax, she asks, {Where is Pax? I thought he was going with you?} She shook her head, and looked away, hiding her tears. {I'm glad the little ones have caught their first fish. Grandfather will surely come back soon, and we will move on to the next nest. We'll teach the young ones to hunt. Take care of yourselves, all right?} Not saying another word, she got to her feet and walked back to a natural depression, laying down, curling up, and hiding her face from the others. I'll miss you guys so much.

Madra could tell Khala was sad, and doing the only thing she could think of Madra curled up with Khala to show she wasn't alone.
{We will see them again, and soon we will be so busy we wont noticed they left until they return again} Madra wispered.
