Keeping her head pulled tight to her chest, she could slightly feel the tiny muscles in her abdomin tighten more and more. The sensation of her body constricting in what felt to her like a little ball, seemed to make her a little dizzy. The young child was never used to training physically and doing anything such as this was completely new to her. She'd never had a reason to do any of it before. Sure, she ran, but that wasn't anything special. Lots of kids run. To play, or to escape from food vendors who spotted you stealing a bag of chips they left in the open, either way, the statement still stood ground. She turned her head a few degrees, checking out what Sukotto was doing while she basically just laid on the ground. She couldn't help but laugh as she watched him. He was going to lose it seemed. Quite funny really. He was so into finding someone to spar with and he loses using his new Jutsu. Shrugging away anything else on her mind she continued on. Senritsu needed to finish what she was doing so she could show him she was a good little person to train, seeing as how she could finish what he gives her quickly enough. She smiled, thinking of what else the two would do after their little break. Hoping it was something to do with that 'special' training he was talking about earlier, the Uchiha's smile brightened.

Senritsu sighed as she continued to hold her place. Her head was starting to feel a little more dizzy as every moment passed, due to the pressure she had forming. She closed her eyes, trying to see if that would release any of the stress in her continuous mind. She really didn't like anything physical and now she remembered why. It was easier to put strain on her mentality than on her body. A frown crossed her face as she let her fingers toy with her short messy black hair. Senritsu was beginning to feel her bracelets against the back of her head, and that wasn't feeling too good. One of the small studs scratched her scalp and caught onto a strand of hair. Not that she could really feel the hair being pulled from her skull, but it was annoying none the less. To get her ragged mind off the annoyance her eyes returned to the battle. "Hm...The girl and her animal are too...quick on their actions...Like they don't think anything at all before moving in on an attack...She's too worried about the beast to think clearly in the situation. Though, Sukotto is on the losing end right now...Hm..." A little wrinkle formed between her eyebrows as she thought it over. Things were off and she wasn't aware as to why. Surely Sukotto wouldn't allow himself to be beaten by this girl. Laying herself flat on her back for a few, she kept her head turned towards the battle, making sure her eyes kept a watch on every blade of grass that moved from their physical twitches above them. Following the muscle contractions of all three combatants. She wanted to see who was better. And as much as she'd refuse to say it out loud, she was voting for Sukotto.

Shisei’s kept staring with the intensity of a hawk. Even if it is a spar the two will begin to lose themselves in battle. It happens to almost everyone in a fight. Even to the snake youth it happens to although his mind is more on the thrill of victory than the lust of battle. His did not waver until he heard a voice from below him. It wasn’t one just making silly cheers of who should win or not. Someone else was also examining the battle. His first thought was that it was the mono eye crow, but he was still silent. The voice also sounded feminine. Could it be Serena? No sly smile had left. That and as witty as she is the bubble head probably wouldn’t analyze a battle unless told to. For a few seconds the gold eyes looked down to see what voice created the disturbance below him. He pivoted his body slightly so that he could get a better look of the person’s face. This also made his shadow to cast her face. It was the new girl who began to train. It was a girl with dark hair and emerald eyes. The female had on a tight, striped shirt with blue pants and a belt. There also seemed to be a red ribbon tied around her neck. While the person did seem to be closer to Karite’s age than his it was intriguing that the girl was studying the battle. Shisei had assumed the only other person to do that would be Xyn. Her analyst was nearly correct.

The snake turned his attention back to the spar, but let his thoughts be known to her. “Sukotto, the Rude-sempai, will most likely lose. Maya-sempai’s style is aggressive and fast. Her lion also makes things difficult. Rude-sempai has the right idea, but he won’t be able to defend from both her and the lion. As long as one can get in his blind spot he won’t last long.” the serpent stated not returning his gaze to the girl. His mind was interested in how the bad-mannered boy would do in the situation. Perhaps a jutsu to even it out? Then what type of move would it be. The snake was waiting in anticipation.

Genin Spar Examination
Just who is stronger between the two? Who has better jutsu and most importantly who will be able to teach him jutsu. The serpent watches on gauging the two battlers. This event might even be able to help Shisei form his own jutsu

Karite did not know of the girl who had seem to fall from the sky and the boy to the far side of him. It seemed new comers had managed to traverse the every depth of the frozen see to come to this island seeking something. Right now though the girl was of more interest then the boy. She seemed to be interested in Sukotto, and the way she looked it seemed she knew him on a personal level, maybe even shared some common ground with him.

Walking next to the Uchiha Karite folded his arms and smiled. Looking at the fight unfolding in front of him he knelt and pet Kore's head before whispering something in his ear. He wanted the cub to go train on his own while Karite worked his magic to gain a new friend. "Hi, the names Karite. You seem to be very interested in the fight. Are you pulling for Maya and Baki, or Sukotto? They are both very strong and both very skilled." Karite knew the answer but he like learning about people from their answers and actions. Letting them play into his game was the most fun of his day.

Senritsu had began her excersize back up once more as she heard the male voice begin to speak on the battle. "Rude? Perhaps you should check yourself before you begin to speak about others." She held her eyes closed as she spoke, not wanting to see the person who spoke of Sukotto in such a way. Not that she could really complain, she often thought people rude as well, but as far as she'd seen so far, Sukotto was not a rude person. "True, it seems he could lose right now. I agree on that. But Sukotto is a smart boy." A smirk entered her lips as she held her position. "Perhaps you should take that into account before you critisize. Though I can't make good on that either. I seem to do it often. Perhaps I should listen to my own advice before I give it to others." Her voice trailed off before she opened her eyes to look up towards the male she was debating with. A slightly confused look entranced her features as she took in his awkward appearance. Not only his physical looks but the way he was watching the fight. It was as though he got off on seeing someone hurt.

Senritsu's eyes shifted upwards to see a rather brute-like male standing beside her. He had the same basic physical brutality as the girl. Either they were both into lions and fighting, or they were part of the same Clan. More than likely it would be the second. Lions were an unrealistic pet to have in this place. They had to be brought here from somewhere, and not very many people would want them but a clan who specializes in the type. Taking in his looks and physical appearance, it was easy to tell he was stronger. And more experienced in these things, if only slightly. Her eyes moved away, finding it rather boring. He was a physical fighter it seemed. Nothing of any importance to her. "I have no prefference. Whoever wins, wins. Whether it be the girl and her beast, or Sukotto. True, both seemed to be skilled, but as for mental capabilities and strategies, the girl lacks. She seems to focus on the fact she is with another in order to win. Perhaps if her beast was taken from her for a fight, she'd focus more on the fact she needs to win and not just protecting the animal. She let her mind heat when he hit the animal. That's not smart to do. The name is Uchiha, Senritsu. Pleasure to meet the both of you."

Baki stumbled and felt the sharp blow to the back of his feline skull, a sharp noise indicating the hit had been severe. His body fell to the ground, skidding a few feet before coming to a stop. There was no blood visible, but had the lion's mane been shaved, a large, purple bruise would be visible, signaling an internal wound that would have to be treated...though Maya would probably not allow anyone to touch him.

Maya's rage was palpable in the air, her eyes blank and her teeth bared, a silent scream on her face. In seconds, though, a loud and frightening sound filled the air - a snarl, a roar, an inhuman sound coming from her lean body. The game was over; Sukotto had gone too far. He had challenged a team, but wouldn't fight against them both. He still thought Baki was just a pet, just a kitten, didn't he!? She shrieked again, her hands moving impossibly fast as she reached behind her back, triple silver streaks moving with her hands as she lunged at his chest, wildness in her form that could not be explained by words. She would only be marginally stronger, and she still wouldn't be able to block - wait...

WHAT!?

Maya's body kept going, but her eyes slid dangerously to a new girl with short black hair. Beast!? Maya's snarl was too large for her body, and she barely had her attention on Sukotto anymore. Baki was more of a shinobi than the little wench would ever be!

Sukotto had anticipated that Maya's vision would become clouded by his precision strikes against Baki, but he once again underestimated the intensity of the Tategami rage. To his surprise, the girl grabbed the weapon that she had placed behind her back and began to charge at him with it. While being pummeled by her and Baki at the same time was very painful, it was the kind of strike that would only left bruises swelled up along his body. However, the fearsome claw that she withdrew was something that had the potential to cause long term injuries to anyone struck by them. Knowing himself well enough to realize that there was a chance that he would get caught dumbstruck, getting himself trapped in his mind and not moving a muscle to avoid the attack, Sukotto quickly threw his mind into overdrive, thinking over his options as fast as he could. Unlike his first plan of attack against Maya and Baki, he didn't have much time to think of anything too solid, so he decided to develop his plan in short strides, making sure to play things as safe as he could while creating a more well thought out goal to strive for. At this point, he wasn't sure if fighting Maya would even be the best option, since she had lost control and was throwing everything she had at him. After closing his eyes and relaxing back into the stance of his Phoenix Form, Sukotto decided that unless something changed, he would attempt to take Maya down in the same way that he had used against Baki, but with a little additional assistance from a certain trait of his.

Something changed. As the Uchiha opened his eyes to reveal two bright red dots, he soon spotted Maya furiously eying someone who had managed to make it to the grounds without him realizing it. The way that the Tategami glared at the girl reminded Sukotto of the way that the wolves had glared at him and Uchiha Kira when the genin had first unlocked the second stage of his Sharingan. Those eyes were beyond any sort of regular negative emotion. It was as if Maya planned to do to Senritsu what a starved lion would have done to a bird that hadn't yet learned to fly away. A strange sort of feeling began to build within Sukotto. his entire body felt warm, as if the hottest day of the year had suddenly consumed the winter of Shimagakure. His brow became stressed and his eyes narrowed as a disgusted smirk slid across his face. Since his eyes had changed their form, the apparent speed of Maya's motions had greatly reduced, making it seem as if she were walking towards him rather than dashing with all of her might. As her dual swipes flew towards his body, Sukotto easily sidestepped them both and moved into a position directly behind the Tategami while sliding his fingers into a few very familiar hand seals. Rat, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rabbit, Ti... Before finishing the final Tiger seal, Sukotto's face relaxed and he stretched out one of his arms, gently setting it on Maya's shoulder and speaking in as calm as a voice as he could possibly muster.

"Why don't we call it a day, friend? I think it would be a good idea to get Baki to the Clinic; I'll help you carry him there if you'd like." His training had been a success. For now, the evil that had been building within the young Uchiha's body since the death of Ichi had been stifled. He knew that it wouldn't last forever and that he would eventually need to set out on a journey to come to terms with what was going on inside of himself, but learning the Phoenix Form had provided a temporary barrier that would protect Sukotto from being consumed by the negative emotions that had recently taken hold of his heart. He only hoped that he would be able to have a similar affect on the mighty lion tamer known as Tategami Maya.

Maya stopped, glowering at the boy and jerking her shoulder from his grasp, a snarl still on her lips.

"Tend to it," she snapped, pointing the sharp edges of her clawed gloves towards the dark haired girl, then stalking back towards Baki, falling on her knees. As her anger was palpable, now, too, the air was thick with her emotion - fear, regret, and anguish. Tying her weapon to her back, she soothed Baki's mane over gently, worry creeping into her expression. A loss she could deal with - there was always another fight to be fought, and Sukotto's new style seemed pretty decent. But to lose her best friend over something that trivial? Maya had scolded Karite for fighting alone instead of with Kore, but had that been a smarter way of doing it? Deeply grieved, Maya shouldered the weight of the lion, staggering slightly; he'd grown immensely over the years, jeez... Still, the physical weight didn't bother her as much as she'd thought it would. Sending one last seething glare at both the Uchiha and the short-haired punk, she made her way towards home, where she would tend to Baki herself. Tenko and Kumiko didn't like animals in the clinic anyhow, and Maya didn't trust them to handle her partner. The brat trio, sure, she didn't care. But not Baki.

After Maya was far enough away so that she would be unable to hear him, the Uchiha relaxed and let free a sigh of relief. He was seriously afraid that the Tategami was going to simply unleash her fury without caring to direct it at him anymore. As his eyes began to fade back to their original color and the adrenaline from the fight began to wear off, Sukotto felt as though he could nearly pass out at any given moment. In addition, since it had been the third time that he had used the Sharingan in a single day, his eyes stung as if he had been staring up into the sun for hours. It was likely that if he chose to use it again, he would risk permanently damaging his vision. Everything was a little blurry, but he was still able to tell who most everyone was by their body structure. Without hesitating long, he made his way over to the thin frame that belonged to Senritsu. "I'm sorry that things became ferocious in the end there, I hope that you weren't terribly offended." Sukotto staggered slightly after speaking his first sentence to Senritsu. While he had been in worse shape before, the fight had definitely taken its toll on his body. "Seeing that you're working on your endurance training must mean that you've completed your chakra training. Now how about I help you finish learning that jutsu since you're through with that chakra training, and then we can go grab something to eat from the village? It would probably be wise to take a break from the endurance training for now." The Uchiha was impressed that the girl had started the endurance training on her own, since it was something that she didn't particularly enjoy doing. However, he would soon be even more taken aback, since he was unaware that she had already completed the second stage of her Body Replacement Technique training.

Honor of the Phoenix
In the final stage of this technique's training, trainees must find a willing sparing partner to have a taijutsu duel against. If the trainee's skill is greater than that of their opponent's, they must wear training weights to make up the difference. On the other hand, if the trainee's opponent's skill is greater than that of the trainee, the trainee may have the opponent wear weights to eliminate the difference as well. This is a taijutsu spar in the sense that damage dealing ninjutsu, damage dealing genjutsu, and weapons are prohibited. The training is completed whether the trainee wins or loses, the importance of this training is to understand the workings of the technique in a combat situation and the importance of trust between two shinobi.
DC: One Taijutsu Sparing Match
Special: Attaching one ankle weight yields -5 to dodge, one belt weight yields -5 to tumble, one vest weight yields -5 to dance, and one wrist weight yields -5 to taijutsu. Multiple weights may be added until the difference in skill is as small as possible.
Note: To balance the fight, Sukotto has agreed to take on two opponents at once instead of using the weights.

Senritsu's eyebrow cocked as she saw the Wild Beast Woman move her eyes to her very position. She must have heard her down talking her battle strategy. Not that it mattered. Her green eyes dulled at the thought of the girl coming for her. Knowing there would be nothing to do but smile and take whatever was given to her. The person was much stronger, faster and hardwilled than Senritsu was. There was no getting around that. Her eyes then switched bodies and took in the look on the male Uchiha's face. It was a sort of pain, but one that was not physical. Strange. Was he feeling that way because of the look the girl had given her? A smile entered her face. And if it was? There was no reason to pester him for it. It was useless to dwell on things that didn't matter. If Senritsu left unhurt then all was well and she could prance her way off to some magical fairy tail world filled with cherry flavoured candies and chocolate covered icecreams. Not to mention all the books in the world to read and without a single person to come and interupt her as she read.

The Uchiha child's smile grew cross as she saw her male counterpart stop before finishing her off. True it would probably be best, but still, it would have been fun to watch. She had expected no less of Sukotto though. He did seem like the type to save his friends from too much pain. Her green eyes follwed the edges of the female's gloves that lay solely on her. "Hm." Watching as she stalked off the Training Grounds with her beast in arm, her attention soon returned to the male coming up to her. He seemed off. Not only his balance but his sight was wavering. "I told you not to waste what you might need didn't I?" she scolded him as she stood from her position on the ground. "Maybe next time you'll think about saving that little eye stuff for when you need it instead of trying to show off for someone you claim to be your own family." Scratching her messy black hair, she closed her eyes and listened to him. "Offended? How should I be offended? She called me 'it'. 'It' is something that has no proper name. Such as a place or thing. I am a person, I have a name. She needs to return to the Academy and learn proper manners and grammer. Not to mention controling her anger one 'o one." Senritsu placed her hands on her hips in a rather huffy manner, like that of a slightly ticked of toddler, and looked at Sukotto for a moment. "You look horrible," the girl said plainly. "Yes, I have completed the Chakra training and that one part of the Jutsu from before. And yes, the way you look, it'd be best you rest your eyes since it seems you can barely see your nose in front of your face. If that." Her voice sounded like one of a mother as she scolded her child for being just that, a child. Then it hit her, where would they eat at? She had no money, and if he didn't have any food at his home what would give her the idea he had money on him either? Groaning, she pondered if she should just go off on her own and steal a few things before returning. But, that would leave him the way he was, and that wouldn't be good.

Turning to the two boys she had been just speaking with, she smiled. Her first words were directed to the one of Maya's clan, "I suppose I'll be seeing you around Karite. And as for you," she said in a lighter tone towards the serpentine child, taking him in for a moment more. "I'd appreciate it if you thought a little more before you speak. It's rude to talk bad about people and call them rude when it is you, sir, who take that title. I'll be seeing you around. You'd be a great person to debate with. Perhaps another time we can converse about the reason people choose cakes over pies or perhaps the reason we all die at separate times for seperate reasons. Yes, I'd rather like that one..." she said in a trailed off voice as a nice little smile took hold of her lips. "Not to mention...I have a few questions for you, from the way you talk, and the way you look..." Her eyes trailed down to his feet to his head to take in the strange colorations. "Hm, no matter. Toodles boys," she said with a smile before turning herself back around to face her fellow Uchiha. "See? Aren't I so good at making friends." Her eyes were still taking in the damage to his eyes and weakness of his body as she spoke in a semi-sarcastic voice.

After lightly scratching the back of his head, Sukotto decided to speak up a little. "I think that Maya is one of the few people who really understands the importance of teamwork. She does have a temper, but it's just part of who she is. Unfortunately, it isn't really anything that anyone could help her with. She'll have to find her own way if she wishes to control her anger, but she may not even wish for such things anyway." Sukotto breathed out the last few words of his final sentence, wondering if Senritsu would take the time to analyze what he had said. In any case, he knew that he still had a large amount of respect for Maya and her lion companion, no matter what other people said. He felt that she was completely in the wrong for drawing her weapon against him, but the Uchiha slightly blamed the harsh action on himself. The genin knew how attached the two were to each other and that it wasn't likely that Maya would have really understood or would have even wanted to understood Sukotto's reasons for targeting Baki. He hoped that she would be able to figure out such things in the future, since it would be the difference between life and death on a battlefield. One couldn't rely solely on themselves to overcome a situation, but one also couldn't completely depend on their teammates to support them. Sukotto believed that if his concentration on individual skill were combined with Maya's focus on teamwork, a near-perfect breed of shinobi would be bred.

"You've already finished that then, hey? I'm quite surprised and happy that you were able to!" Sukotto's fatigue was beginning to cause him to become more enthusiastic than he had originally intended on portraying. "Well that leaves one more stage and then you will have learned enough to use the jutsu on your own." Since she already knew the hand seals and had completed the chakra control part of the training on her own, Sukotto figured that Senritsu wouldn't have too much trouble finishing the final task that was left to do. "Now I want you to really focus on using those hand seals that you learned and focusing that chakra like you did before. I'm going to come at you and I want you to switch positions with an object before I can tag you. Afterwards, if you are able to switch spots, I want you to use your new position to try and sneak up and tag me before I can realize where you are." Sukotto's entire body ached and he had grown cold in the unforgiving winter air, but moving around would help loosen and warm up his muscles a bit. Without much of a warning, he launched himself at the female Uchiha, curious to see whether or not she would catch on and realize that he wanted to begin.

"Look," Senritsu interupted him as he let his last word fall about Maya. "I really don't care what the girls problem is. Her worries are her own, and it really doesn't appeal to me to know them. I see what I see, and for now, I see a girl who needs to get her emotions in check before they tear her to shreds from the inside out, just like her little animal she saw fall just now." Senritsu's eyes were dull green as they sparked with an uncaring demeanor, there was nothing in Maya's being around her that made her interested or regretful of seeing her. Though, probably not the same way around. Then again, Senritsu was used to people not liking what she said or did. Her eyebrow raised in slight confusion at Sukotto's happiness towards her finishing an excersize. He was more out of it than she first thought. Groaning at the sound of having to do one more thing relating to Chakra and Jutsu, she crossed her arms and looked to the floor, clearly disspleased with what was needed. "But I don't want to..." She whispered to herself so lightly that only she'd be able to hear it.

Great, a game of tag...Just what she needed. "With snow like this there are very few places to hide without you seeing me. I'm not exactly wearing the correct camo for this time of year." Sighing, she backed up a bit, almost bumping back into the snake boy before placing her hands on her hips and leaning her weight on one leg. Now she just needed to remember what those darn handseals where...Then she saw the sudden flash of movement that was Sukotto coming towards her, with a sudden intake of breath she quickly finished through the Handseals. She smiled, seeing what usually people leave in their places doing this seal. A basic log. That wouldn't be fun though. Defintely not her taste. Then she remembered what fun little toy was only a step behind her. "Perfect," she said quitely. Then she was gone, the log in her place, and she stood waiting in her little secret place watching to see if what she thought of would work. Hopefully Sukotto would run into the snake boy. What fun that would be!

She waited a moment before seeing an openning she could take on him. The way Sukotto could barely see, let alone more as he was before, it would be easy to just go behind him and tap his shoulder. Leaping from the tree branch she had positioned herself within, she landed behind him, reaching her hand to his back. The snow that had been settled in the tree fell in small flakes around the two from her jumping from the tree. Quite a cool scene to behold if she did say so herself.
