Tenma rolled the scroll neatly back in place and stood to place it back on the shelf. Before she walked towards the shelf she stretched in the glow of the sun. Again inside the library Tenma found herself wanting to know more. She found a scroll that related to the plants that were around where she was passed out and found herself curious.
When she sat down she scanned the scroll and grinned at the vibrantly colored pictures. The first one she looked for was one that everyone knew - a daisy. Sure enough it was one of the first on the list.

Tenma paused to reflect on what she had seen in the fleeting moments of conciousness, which almost caused her to strain mentally. As she looked at a picture she laughed to herself. Yes, she saw a lily pad in the middle of a meadow. Sometimes Tenma suprised herself with the things she managed to do. Though it typically wasn't a good suprise.

There were blossoming trees that Tenma could remember. With a sigh she looked for the blossoms and, as was expected, they were cherry blossoms. Tenma liked to be thorough and this was the way to do it. The flowers here weren't as vibrant as the ones back in Amegakure. Back home the environment was far more suitable for such beauty.

Finally, only one more plant to go. As Tenma skimmed through the flowers she couldn't seem to find the appropriate illustration. Her eyebrows pressed together in a combination of confusion and frustration. This should have been the easiest of the plants to find.

With a sigh and a shake of her head Tenma found it as the final illustration. Whomever made this must have over looked the simple daffodil and put it in last as a quick remeberance. Again Tenma stood and placed the scroll back on the shelf. Now that she was content with the completion of her research she decided it was time to return to the training fields.

Rhaim entered the library immediately after buying the bomb tags because before he could try to perform the technique he would have to know how the technique was supposed to be performed. Since all of the instructors were either occupied or not interested in training students right now, the young Nara decided that he may as well learn from a book what he wanted to know. After all it couldn't be that difficult. Within a few minutes he found a helpful library worker that took him straight to the book of minor jutsus that he was looking for. He hoped that this task would go by quick since he'd still need to copy the scroll once he was done researching the jutsu. With a heavy sigh and a crack of the neck the young boy opened the large tome and began thumbing through the pages of information.

Rhaim was a tad bit overzealous in his desire to learn of this next jutsu and therefore was careless in skipping over pages and eventually missing the entire section that he was looking for. If he didn't concentrate more on the task at hand as just as serious as learning the jutsu then he would never learn it at all. So with a calmer resolve the young lad began to slowly flip through the pages of the tome to find the section on the exploding tag technique. Though he knew that he could probably figure out what he needed to know from just copying the scroll, Rhaim wanted to make sure that he had every advantage he could get in learning the jutsu thus making this research quite critical. He placed his chin in his left hand as his right was utilized for working the books before him.

Rhaim had once again falled victim to his own perpetual laziness that he experiences with every task. As he had been flipping through the pages to find the information that he wanted, he had let his mind wander off and had not even noticed as he skipped right over the section. As it was he had been daydreaming again about napping in a low branch of a tree with the cool breeze flowing gently over him. The young Nara cracked his neck and placed his chin back into his palm and showed no sort of positive or negative reaction to failing to find the information yet again. As it was, this was just the type of thing that he did normally so it wasn't all that shocking to him to begin with. He began tapping his foot in rythem on the floor as he flipped from the front of the book yet again. His eyes weren't exactly focused on the words ahead of him, though they never truly were anyways.

Rhaim heard a dull thud as he watched the book that had been in front of him crash to the ground. A bug had been crawling across the table as the young boy was skimming through the pages. He had decided pretty much as soon as he had seen it that he was going to kill it if it tried to actually climb up the book he was reading. Sure enough it did proceed to climb up his book and so in one deft motion he smashed the bug and sent the book flying towards the ground. Fortuneately it was still close enough to him that he only had to lean off of the chair and not actually get off completely to recover the book. With the tome back on the table in front of him, Rhaim opened up the front cover and started to flip through the entire thing for the third time. The librarian had told him that this book had the information that he was looking for and so he would definately keep looking in this book until he found it.

Rhaim finally came to the section of the book that he had been looking for and was quite pleased that it only took him several long minutes to do so. To his surprise the book was rather general in its information on the jutsu that he was researching. It didn't go into specifics right away, but rather talked about the background of how the jutsu came into being and why it grow in popularity so quickly. One of the facts that truly caught him off guard was the fact that early on in the bomb tag jutsus creation it had been believed that it could only be performed by people with an affinity towards fire. The young Nara was glad that this was not true since he knew that he had no such inclination himself. His sisters had taken the initiative in finding out what his affinity was long before he had entered the Academy.

Rhaim continued to flip through the book in order to find out even more about the history of the jutsu, in fact he was almost as interested about learning where and how it developed as he was about learning how to use it himself. Somehow it seemed that being stuck in a position as a part-time caretaker of the library would not be such a bad job. Especially since it would mean that he would get to read as much as he wanted, so long as there wasn't someone like himself that needed help with finding things. The boy considered talking to someone before he left about taking on such a duty during his off time when he became a genin. It's not he would be losing any time spent doing push-ups or running laps, since that wasn't exactly what he was good at anyhow. Though he wanted to make himself better well rounded he also knew that he should use what little strengths he had to the fullest of their capability.

Rhaim was really getting into reading up on the history of the jutsu, though he was pretty much ready to find out exactly how the jutsu worked and how one would go about performing it. His eyes weren't used to being indoors as much, so his continual squint actually made it much harder for him to focus and thus he was forced to stop momentarily and close his eyes tight. He also used this quick break to lean back in his chair and stretch out his arms and legs from sitting for so long. As he was leaninging back he opened his eyes to find a worker walking by. Not wanting to waste too much time between his researching and copying of the scroll itself Rhaim requested from the librarian if he could have a blank scroll and a copy of the Jibaku Fuda: Kassei scroll. To his surprise the librarian walked off to fetch the items without prying into why such a young boy without a ninja headband would ask for the items.

Rhaim nodded his head in understanding how what the book was saying about the technique being a use of chakra to stimulate the explosive trigger of the distant tag. Though that seemed like a simple enough task he hadn't read yet how exactly one went about accomplishing that if their chakra never actually made contact with the tag. Thus the young Nara boy continued flipping pages in hopes that that discussion was coming up next, which it surely was. Rhaim hoped simply that he wouldn't doze off too badly as his eyes continued to scan the pages, or if he'd get excited about the librarian taking an extended amount of time bringing him his requested materials. Then the worst idea hit him, that of whether that librarian would return at all or if she was just meaning to make him wait and feel like a fool.

Rhaim found that after reading the material in front of him that he couldn't recall what any of it said. The young boy pounded his head against the pages a few times, trying to wake himself from his daydreams that often got in the way of his tasks. Oddly enough this one had not only been about napping but doing so while someone else was practicing their jutsus nearby. The Nara had no idea why it was that person that he saw in his mind but neither did he bother dwelling on the fact since it seemed far less important than the idea that he had wondered off in his thoughts at all. With another set of cracks to the neck the boy readied himself to read over the same set of pages a second time, since he had failed in actually retaining any information the first time around. Rhaim really needed to know how this technique worked if he ever hoped to be able to learn and use it himself.

Once again Rhaim found himself dozing off instead of paying close attention to the material in front of him that he knew that he needed to know. This time however he had imagined that all of the letters on the page had come to life and when having sword fights amongst themselves in order to save the queen of the semi-colon. The young Nara boy gave himself several more solid slams to the book in another attempt to drive out the ridiculous thoughts. He sighed as he considered just taking a break from the reading and doing something outside for a minute or two. That possibilty was struck out rather quickly be Rhaim himself since he knew that that would only make this task take longer for him to complete. Considering that it was already taking much longer for him to do then he had originally hoped, he figured that it couldn't possibly take that much longer until he knew how the technnique was conducted.
