joachim woke up with a start from his nightmare. he knew his time was running close to an end... he could not believe what he saw. another sin... except stronger comming and taking over spira doing what the other sin could not. he grabbed his chest. feeling his heart begining to close up as he began to breath in deeper. and grabbed his staff. his time here was running out if that was not a dream sent by the fayth's then it was his own body telling him it was time to move on. his breath returned to normal and joachim took stock of what was around him. it was a beutifull afternoon in the calm lands. the breeze played withe the nicely trimmed grass. the laughter of children and adults could be heard over the sound of the machines that now took precedence over evrything tot he knew people of spira. son the time of sin would be long forgoten. and then they would be ripe for an attack. the last summoner yojimbo had called him. how true it was. looking around it seemed to him that maybe only the ronso and the guado kept with the old ways. and remembered bitterly the time of sin. he felt a presence comming close to him. he quicly tuucked his staff and rolled backwards passing his oponent. and then stoped rolling and got into a handstand and helicopter kicked his oponents knees. making him bend down. then he grabed his oponent by the neck throwing him to the floor and locking in a head lock the person fought back and he stood up. holding the person and agian slamed him into the ground. as he held him he noticed that it was jec mulciber armster who he was holding, his mentor now revealed to be grandfather" it seems you are very hard strung today my grandson?" joachim sighed letting go of his uncle he sat upright letting his uncle join him. " grandfather. as i traveled along spira i collected the many other eons that there are to collect. know i have them all. not to brag but it feels pretty nice after spending a night with the ronso i whent towards the zanarkand ruins. i saw the walls of fayth that keep dream zanarkand living on. there the genji blade finaly broke. i saw it i saw every crack heard everything that hapened to it, i felt it in my bones. then i screamed and cried like have never done before by one of our family. then as i slept in the zanarkand ruins... there cme to me a dream. the kind of dream we sing that the great hero tidus had. execpt in mine all of the eons where together and they choose yojimbo to speak to us. did you know that he is the preginitur of our clan, but he told me that i was the last summoner. that it was up to me wheter or not spira would blossom. i have to g and show the people of the other realms the power of our realm. then hopefully maybe more summoners can be born here. or more ronso, or even more guado. our races are deying. i mean the whole of spira is slowly deing adn the fate of us all lies in me becoming strong in a land thats not mine. befriend people who do things that should not be humanly posible. hell i will have to become like them. i might come back stronger then any other spirian in memory. the eons also have items that can make them stronger. they whant me to find them. or at least a few of them and give them to some friends i might find along the way. then i woke up. i whent to teh ronso and fought with them. they tought me some of there magic. then i came down i fought you and all the whil there is this feeling of weight on my damn chest. i know am an armster but i met one of this ninja bloocks before and guess what he has invisable hands. i mean the damn dude whent trough hell and back just to become stronger to protect the woman he loved only to lose tract of her. and i am supposed to go to a world where he is but one of the wekeast? i mean there is something to be said for our summoning ability we can easily get stronger and do many things. but i am dounted by the task that they have set before me. why was i chossen?""becouse the genji blade choose you to find it. i was asked before you and i stayed here. training int he arts that i could learn... but i knew i was only meant to train the knewst summoner. you are young enough to make a difrence my last trip to other realms gave me this seal. when i trully fight will get yougner. i wil live and die if i do not fight. and affter you decdide i will go back too my family to be with them as is the custome of our clan. i am done i am old i will enjoy the rest of my days here in peacefull bliss and ignorance. or so i tought. then you came over and learned everything you could from me. you handled that fake blade better then any of us could. find it it will become your best friend. it will help you in battle become worthy of it. show them the armster blood. no we do do not like being famous in battle but it calls t us. we are armster. just as sure as the soshi live in heaven. yes i know abotu the soshi i met the young mans father and will give you the adress should you choose to go there. you will learn a lot and you will fight and you will die and you will coem back. and you will keep going till you become the best damn person that you can posibly be." thsi conversation took place as many chocobos came otu to feed for the aftternoon. steve noozledd joachim armster and as joachim looked at him he understood. evrything in spira was trying to help him. when he seemed lost and his chocobo learned to do magic that ws its own will. it would become strong so that one of this days he will be summoned or of use to him in some way. joachim smiled he had finaly decided . " alright you all win. i will go. i will become strong. i will come back and show spira the true spirit that we have. and hopefully we can learn to become stronger. i will protect spira with my life." joachim armster stood up and walked up towards the ronso as he walked they humed a song not sung since times long past the sung of sending the summoners to the final test. as he kept walking he was amased as the line of people that hummed or singed involved many of his family, the guado, the ronso, humans, even the albed in the ruins of zanarkand he looked on to the the two leaders of spira, and bowed then he turned and faced all of the people he formaly had seen or whose very existence led him on " i am joachim of the armster family. i will make you all rpoud and come back here stronger then you could ever have hopped to see someone from spira." joachim walked trough the gate leavign spira for the first time in his life and knowing he would come back someday to finish his education 1292

joachim smiled as he appeared in his house. This was definately something that did not happen all the time. he walked in to the house meeting with everyone surprised to see him walk in sacred. he reassured them nothing was wrong and helped them begin the meeting after the meeting he was getting fused over as if he had come home missing an arm. he told them all of his edventure and of the knew friend he had made named Rinzo he really needed to find him again. him and kekkaishi he told them with pride in his voice that he was now considered a chunnin for the rest of his life he would have to train even harder to show them all how strong spira really is.. he smiled as they brought him a half finished book he blinked it seemed to belong to the knew Armster. he smiled and began to read: " no you wont get me." he ran as fast as he could what else could he do he had to protect the child. hie ran and ran he knew that the demon was close. he got behind a rock. " may you forgive me for what i do right know. memories vanish" "weak fool." he looked up there he was talll and beconing. "your to late the child is safe" "what. for that you shall die. demon blast!!!" "orochi vengence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" two kinds run in the forest they climb up a tree and look around. "what happended." "i do not know." they stared at the huge metor like hole in the middle of the rock all that was left was dust and a rock with a seal The scream of an 18 year old sang trough the city. the kid ran and ran, he could not believe the old man kept pace with him. " you will never catch him." one of the street vendors screamed after the exhausted adult who chased the kid." he is touched by the gods." the adult male smiled, thou no one could ever see thanks to his face mask." i have seen the gods they haven't even shrugged at his existence." his words startled the vendor, he realized who the adult was and raised the alarm.
the kid looked at the adult that seemed to come out of no where, in this village no one had ever bested him. "who, in the name of the gods are you?" " i am one that searches and finds, losses and wins" " no riddles." " they are not , kid you have done wrong, and for that you will be punished." the kid looked around him, he was cornered. the kid looks to be about 11 years old, he has messy black hair, light green eyes. he is dressed in the same way most kids are; a white coat that zippers booth up and down, he has it revealing his bottom half, the zipper only went down to his neck, underneath the coat there is a white silk shirt. he is wearing black silk pants. to the adult he seemed to be one of the lower classes. " why did you steal?" " i did not steal." " you stole from my shop." the adult loomed over the kid. he is wearing a long black cloak that seemed to be made of some fine texture. on it where intricate desings, mostly of mythological beings. " do you know who i am?" the kid screamed. " no, i don't, does it really mater?" " i am keishi, of the yashimiga family, how dare you chase me, stop at once or else feel the wrath of the yahimiga." the adult sighed, for the first time the kid noticed that the adult never really looked at him, his eyes where hidden by his hair which seemed to be in ten different styles at once. the kid jumped up wings suddenly parting his coat.he began to fly. he looked down at the man, to see that he was using the walls to get near him. " heavens arrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" a loud explosion could be heard across the town, as the kids powerful attack seemed to his its target.
" no, don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the towns people came to the alley to see keishi safe and sound lagging, in the air." keishi, where is the man that was following you?" " you mean the imbecile of a fool? i killed him." " who are you calling a fool?" keishi looked at the townspeople, the old men who he respected the most had answered him. " why do you speak, candor?" "simple, why do you think this newcomer always covers his face?" " i don't care, he is a freak of nature." " you came to us 11 years ago, with no memory what so ever, and you have a rare gift, those the family name of the lawless ones was given to you, you yourself choose your first name, but listen to me when i say that you had best pay for what you took,he listens to no man." " this man is dead, like everyone who chalanged me." he made a small arrow and shot it to the ground. he was surprised when a black arrow destroyed his, he looked around only to find no knew person. " displaying your skills is unwise, young one." for the first time in his life the kid knew fear as right in front of him the stranger appeared, he had been hurt by the he attack that was evident, by the fact that for the first time the kid noticed his eyes. they are the weirdest eyes he has ever seen, where his where white, the strangers where silver, where his where light green and black, the strangers where obsidian. in the strangers eyes, there was more fear and pain, then the kid had ever seen, it was clear that he was in front of someone of great power, almost as much as the once living sages. the towns people laghed. " yomishi, you seriously, have to learn to let kids be kids." the mask on yomishi's face was gone, he smiled. he has tan skin, his hair is also silver with black highlights it is combed back. the individual strands seemed to be sharpened near the end. his cloak was parted in the middle,e black wings stood between the cloak and his body. the stranger made a symbol in the air. " i call upon, the heaven and earth, shine down, and grant us power." the words seemed to resonate in the air, and they where accompanied by an angelic sound, that could not be heard, but felt. the kid was suddenly on the ground, he did not now how but he was bitten, this stranger that seemed to be named yomishi, had beat one of the chosen keishi looked at yomishi, from his position. he was hiding on top of the building in front of his. "damn it, its like he sleeps all the time" like yesterday yomishi had his eyes close. and like yesterday his fetures where hidden under his mask, and what he assumed to be some sort of hat. for soem reson he never talked, thuo people seemed to now just how much where his prices. no kids ever tried to steal from him, and whenever some of the people began to speak, his bloddy mask did nto allow him to know what he was talking abtou, he had the suspicion that if he got closer to him. he woudl be defeted like yesterday.
The day had finaly ended, he sun had set on the horison, and the town whent to its lazy time. yomishi seemed to change during this time. Keishi did not know when this happened or how, but it did. his msk and hat had been removed. and know elder tresh was speakign to him.
"yomishi, long time no speak "
"ah tresh, i hear you are an elder now."
"cant you see?"
"whell, you know, what it means to open the eyes of the mind and soul"
"i heard yu have met keishi."
"let me guess go easy on him?"
"nope, he deserved what he got. but still, you used that spell, i tought it was banned?"
" whell you know what they say about the ones of the dark curse."
"yomishi. doesnt your name mean 'death of the underworld'?"
"yep, whell come on it sounded cool. i had to choose that name for myself."
"what the hell are you taling about?"
keishi could handle no more so he reaveled himself.
" ah, so you finaly revealed your self?"
"huh?"
"ah young master, this here is yomishi, he is teh one that saved our world, from destruction 50 years ago. he is the one that allowed your father to rule."
"what?" he could not belive it. this young person, was responsible for the defeat of the okai." how old are you?"
"i am 18, my kind, does nto age after they reach maturaty."
"yoru kind?"
"yes, the akoi, the black wigned okai." they looked down at the unsuspecting town.
"how many fools live here father?'
"how should i know?"
they where surprised to hear the call of a crow. they looked around to see a crow transforming into a man cloaked in darkness.
"why are you two here?"
"yomishi?"
yomishi smiled." i have told oyu long ago didn't i? that i will completetly destroy yoou next time i see you?"
the three of them looked at each other. the whole city seemed to be enshrouded in darkness. and evrayone but kenishi was wide awake.kenishi looked in surprised as he saw yomish talking to the okami.
"come on. you know you won that war.we have returned to our old leader. he whises to meet with you."
" as his lordship wishes. but like yesterdayi must return before the sun rises in the third star."
"as you say." they all seemed to turn into crow feathers and vanished.
"what could such a thing mean?"kenishii was thiking to himself as he lay in his favorite spot. he could see the whole city from where he was yet like always the thick mist that came with the morning prevented him from seeing it clearly. he is in a green hill witih no other sings of life except for the green grass.
"such a beutifull sight is it not ?"keniishi jumped a little as he saw yomishi standing in front of him." it reminds me of an old legend this gentle town."
"and why should i care about such a legend?"
" simple becouse it has evraything to do with your life." with this words yomishi walked away." those you saw are like you. the war isover i have no reason to personaly hate them. i suggest you let goo of silly notions such as revenge or the fact that this city shall soon be torn asunder like the llegend of towers." kenishi was left alone to ponder on this toughts when he saw a lone crow flying towards the city right behind it was a small flock of doves.kenishi was surprised when he could feel a killing aoura coming from the birds. these birds whanted to kill the crow. the doves turned around and stoped following the crow and decided to go for kenishi instead.
kenishi was locky he knew how to fight or else he would have been done for. he stared in disbelife as the doves had turned into humans and tried to strike him with concelaed wepons. he used his only special attack to deflect them. the men where all naked they stood at 5'12" they all had brown hair and light grey eyes.
" is this it?"
"yes. he is hte one that betrayed us. look he has white wings!!!!"
"you wil pay for such a stupid move.'
they rushed towards him planing on ripping him apart but where interupted by the crow they had left behind. as the crow began to change to a human shape it used its transformation as a wepon, usign his reforming bones to hit them froom behind and his momentum and growing hight to jump over them landing on his feet to reveall he was actually yomishi. like when he first fought kenishi his mask and crazy hat where gone. leaving his face completetly exposed. "so some of you still are alive?"
they growled and let beams of light go towards him he stuck out his right hand deflecting there beams with his own. he quickly bowed down and felt a quick miss his head. he then jumped avoiding a sweep kick. and as soon as his fingers touched the ground he used his momentum to twirl aroound using a helicopter kick to throw away to swords the three okami had in there hands. he stood up and looked at them." we all knwo that unless you bow down to the old leader i will obliterate you." as he said this he revealed that his wings where under his cloack. kenishi lookedin awe as thy seemed to be made of obsidian stone. his cloack disapeared. and in a second the three okami where pierced by his cloack wichturned tou to be nothing but crow feathers.
"next tiem i whont protect you. i am done protecting the okami haiden."
"wh..wha...what is a haiden?" he said as he managed too get over the stoture.
"a haiden is one kissed by grea father fae. the future of my race relies on me and the fate of yours lies in you. fellow haiden." it was a remarkable peace of fiction that the kid wrote. he smiled as he saw her walking in they al left him behind as they booth just stared at each other. this was a moment he had tought or a long while they just heald each other for a long while. joachim loved her and how she was. but he knew that he would soon have to leave. the kid came in then and he brought him close reading to him a story he loved. " listen to this tale. it will tell you why i do nto condone revenge.: THE thousand injuries of Fortunato I had borne as I best could, but when he ventured upon insult I vowed revenge. You, who so well know the nature of my soul, will not suppose, however, that gave utterance to a threat. At length I would be avenged; this was a point definitely, settled --but the very definitiveness with which it was resolved precluded the idea of risk. I must not only punish but punish with impunity. A wrong is unredressed when retribution overtakes its redresser. It is equally unredressed when the avenger fails to make himself felt as such to him who has done the wrong.
It must be understood that neither by word nor deed had I given Fortunato cause to doubt my good will. I continued, as was my wont, to smile in his face, and he did not perceive that my smile now was at the thought of his immolation.
He had a weak point -- this Fortunato -- although in other regards he was a man to be respected and even feared. He prided himself on his connoisseurship in wine. Few Italians have the true virtuoso spirit. For the most part their enthusiasm is adopted to suit the time and opportunity, to practise imposture upon the British and Austrian millionaires. In painting and gemmary, Fortunato, like his countrymen, was a quack, but in the matter of old wines he was sincere. In this respect I did not differ from him materially; --I was skilful in the Italian vintages myself, and bought largely whenever I could.
It was about dusk, one evening during the supreme madness of the carnival season, that I encountered my friend. He accosted me with excessive warmth, for he had been drinking much. The man wore motley. He had on a tight-fitting parti-striped dress, and his head was surmounted by the conical cap and bells. I was so pleased to see him that I thought I should never have done wringing his hand.
I said to him --"My dear Fortunato, you are luckily met. How remarkably well you are looking to-day. But I have received a pipe of what passes for Amontillado, and I have my doubts."
"How?" said he. "Amontillado, A pipe? Impossible! And in the middle of the carnival!"
"I have my doubts," I replied; "and I was silly enough to pay the full Amontillado price without consulting you in the matter. You were not to be found, and I was fearful of losing a bargain."
"Amontillado!"
"I have my doubts."
"Amontillado!"
"And I must satisfy them."
"Amontillado!"
"As you are engaged, I am on my way to Luchresi. If any one has a critical turn it is he. He will tell me --"
"Luchresi cannot tell Amontillado from Sherry."
"And yet some fools will have it that his taste is a match for your own.
"Come, let us go."
"Whither?"
"To your vaults."
"My friend, no; I will not impose upon your good nature. I perceive you have an engagement. Luchresi--"
"I have no engagement; --come."
"My friend, no. It is not the engagement, but the severe cold with which I perceive you are afflicted. The vaults are insufferably damp. They are encrusted with nitre."
"Let us go, nevertheless. The cold is merely nothing. Amontillado! You have been imposed upon. And as for Luchresi, he cannot distinguish Sherry from Amontillado."
Thus speaking, Fortunato possessed himself of my arm; and putting on a mask of black silk and drawing a roquelaire closely about my person, I suffered him to hurry me to my palazzo.
There were no attendants at home; they had absconded to make merry in honour of the time. I had told them that I should not return until the morning, and had given them explicit orders not to stir from the house. These orders were sufficient, I well knew, to insure their immediate disappearance, one and all, as soon as my back was turned.
I took from their sconces two flambeaux, and giving one to Fortunato, bowed him through several suites of rooms to the archway that led into the vaults. I passed down a long and winding staircase, requesting him to be cautious as he followed. We came at length to the foot of the descent, and stood together upon the damp ground of the catacombs of the Montresors.
The gait of my friend was unsteady, and the bells upon his cap jingled as he strode.
"The pipe," he said.
"It is farther on," said I; "but observe the white web-work which gleams from these cavern walls."
He turned towards me, and looked into my eyes with two filmy orbs that distilled the rheum of intoxication.
"Nitre?" he asked, at length.
"Nitre," I replied. "How long have you had that cough?"
"Ugh! ugh! ugh! --ugh! ugh! ugh! --ugh! ugh! ugh! --ugh! ugh! ugh! --ugh! ugh! ugh!"
My poor friend found it impossible to reply for many minutes.
"It is nothing," he said, at last.
"Come," I said, with decision, "we will go back; your health is precious. You are rich, respected, admired, beloved; you are happy, as once I was. You are a man to be missed. For me it is no matter. We will go back; you will be ill, and I cannot be responsible. Besides, there is Luchresi --"
"Enough," he said; "the cough's a mere nothing; it will not kill me. I shall not die of a cough."
"True --true," I replied; "and, indeed, I had no intention of alarming you unnecessarily --but you should use all proper caution. A draught of this Medoc will defend us from the damps.
Here I knocked off the neck of a bottle which I drew from a long row of its fellows that lay upon the mould.
"Drink," I said, presenting him the wine.
He raised it to his lips with a leer. He paused and nodded to me familiarly, while his bells jingled.
"I drink," he said, "to the buried that repose around us."
"And I to your long life."
He again took my arm, and we proceeded.
"These vaults," he said, "are extensive."
"The Montresors," I replied, "were a great and numerous family."
"I forget your arms."
"A huge human foot d'or, in a field azure; the foot crushes a serpent rampant whose fangs are imbedded in the heel."
"And the motto?"
"Nemo me impune lacessit."
"Good!" he said.
The wine sparkled in his eyes and the bells jingled. My own fancy grew warm with the Medoc. We had passed through long walls of piled skeletons, with casks and puncheons intermingling, into the inmost recesses of the catacombs. I paused again, and this time I made bold to seize Fortunato by an arm above the elbow.
"The nitre!" I said; "see, it increases. It hangs like moss upon the vaults. We are below the river's bed. The drops of moisture trickle among the bones. Come, we will go back ere it is too late. Your cough --"
"It is nothing," he said; "let us go on. But first, another draught of the Medoc."
I broke and reached him a flagon of De Grave. He emptied it at a breath. His eyes flashed with a fierce light. He laughed and threw the bottle upwards with a gesticulation I did not understand.
I looked at him in surprise. He repeated the movement --a grotesque one.
"You do not comprehend?" he said.
"Not I," I replied.
"Then you are not of the brotherhood."
"How?"
"You are not of the masons."
"Yes, yes," I said; "yes, yes."
"You? Impossible! A mason?"
"A mason," I replied.
"A sign," he said, "a sign."
"It is this," I answered, producing from beneath the folds of my roquelaire a trowel.
"You jest," he exclaimed, recoiling a few paces. "But let us proceed to the Amontillado."
"Be it so," I said, replacing the tool beneath the cloak and again offering him my arm. He leaned upon it heavily. We continued our route in search of the Amontillado. We passed through a range of low arches, descended, passed on, and descending again, arrived at a deep crypt, in which the foulness of the air caused our flambeaux rather to glow than flame.
At the most remote end of the crypt there appeared another less spacious. Its walls had been lined with human remains, piled to the vault overhead, in the fashion of the great catacombs of Paris. Three sides of this interior crypt were still ornamented in this manner. From the fourth side the bones had been thrown down, and lay promiscuously upon the earth, forming at one point a mound of some size. Within the wall thus exposed by the displacing of the bones, we perceived a still interior crypt or recess, in depth about four feet, in width three, in height six or seven. It seemed to have been constructed for no especial use within itself, but formed merely the interval between two of the colossal supports of the roof of the catacombs, and was backed by one of their circumscribing walls of solid granite.
It was in vain that Fortunato, uplifting his dull torch, endeavoured to pry into the depth of the recess. Its termination the feeble light did not enable us to see.
"Proceed," I said; "herein is the Amontillado. As for Luchresi --"
"He is an ignoramus," interrupted my friend, as he stepped unsteadily forward, while I followed immediately at his heels. In an instant he had reached the extremity of the niche, and finding his progress arrested by the rock, stood stupidly bewildered. A moment more and I had fettered him to the granite. In its surface were two iron staples, distant from each other about two feet, horizontally. From one of these depended a short chain, from the other a padlock. Throwing the links about his waist, it was but the work of a few seconds to secure it. He was too much astounded to resist. Withdrawing the key I stepped back from the recess.
"Pass your hand," I said, "over the wall; you cannot help feeling the nitre. Indeed, it is very damp. Once more let me implore you to return. No? Then I must positively leave you. But I must first render you all the little attentions in my power."
"The Amontillado!" ejaculated my friend, not yet recovered from his astonishment.
"True," I replied; "the Amontillado."
As I said these words I busied myself among the pile of bones of which I have before spoken. Throwing them aside, I soon uncovered a quantity of building stone and mortar. With these materials and with the aid of my trowel, I began vigorously to wall up the entrance of the niche.
I had scarcely laid the first tier of the masonry when I discovered that the intoxication of Fortunato had in a great measure worn off. The earliest indication I had of this was a low moaning cry from the depth of the recess. It was not the cry of a drunken man. There was then a long and obstinate silence. I laid the second tier, and the third, and the fourth; and then I heard the furious vibrations of the chain. The noise lasted for several minutes, during which, that I might hearken to it with the more satisfaction, I ceased my labours and sat down upon the bones. When at last the clanking subsided, I resumed the trowel, and finished without interruption the fifth, the sixth, and the seventh tier. The wall was now nearly upon a level with my breast. I again paused, and holding the flambeaux over the mason-work, threw a few feeble rays upon the figure within.
A succession of loud and shrill screams, bursting suddenly from the throat of the chained form, seemed to thrust me violently back. For a brief moment I hesitated, I trembled. Unsheathing my rapier, I began to grope with it about the recess; but the thought of an instant reassured me. I placed my hand upon the solid fabric of the catacombs, and felt satisfied. I reapproached the wall; I replied to the yells of him who clamoured. I re-echoed, I aided, I surpassed them in volume and in strength. I did this, and the clamourer grew still.
It was now midnight, and my task was drawing to a close. I had completed the eighth, the ninth and the tenth tier. I had finished a portion of the last and the eleventh; there remained but a single stone to be fitted and plastered in. I struggled with its weight; I placed it partially in its destined position. But now there came from out the niche a low laugh that erected the hairs upon my head. It was succeeded by a sad voice, which I had difficulty in recognizing as that of the noble Fortunato. The voice said--
"Ha! ha! ha! --he! he! he! --a very good joke, indeed --an excellent jest. We will have many a rich laugh about it at the palazzo --he! he! he! --over our wine --he! he! he!"
"The Amontillado!" I said.
"He! he! he! --he! he! he! --yes, the Amontillado. But is it not getting late? Will not they be awaiting us at the palazzo, the Lady Fortunato and the rest? Let us be gone."
"Yes," I said, "let us be gone."
"For the love of God, Montresor!"
"Yes," I said, "for the love of God!"
But to these words I hearkened in vain for a reply. I grew impatient. I called aloud --
"Fortunato!"
No answer. I called again --
"Fortunato!"
No answer still. I thrust a torch through the remaining aperture and let it fall within. There came forth in return only a jingling of the bells. My heart grew sick; it was the dampness of the catacombs that made it so. I hastened to make an end of my labour. I forced the last stone into its position; I plastered it up. Against the new masonry I re-erected the old rampart of bones. For the half of a century no mortal has disturbed them. In pace requiescat! " joachim smiled. when he got up and kissed them booth. now he had to leave he had to go on to heaven 4719

Udai sighed. He needed should get back to the lab so that he could continue with his work but that could wait. There were a lot of other things that he could be doing with his free time. So much stuff that he could be learning. He took out his pack of cigarettes. He liked a Lucky Strike every now and again. The taste of toasted tobacco was kind of a addiction for him. Those and menthol. As he enjoyed the smoke he looked around. The bebop was complete and he had a few guns. However where would he go next? That was a question that he had been pondering for a long time. 116

Aloysius did not know where the hell he was... all he knew was that he was on some wierd island with wierd people. He sighed and just decided to walk around the town was pretty beautiful but it was hot. the fact that there was not an eternal mist began to bug him. as he walked around he was suddenly grabed by some people in strange clothes. "oui tysh dreav ruf tyna oui cruf ouin vyla rana ykeyh" he was confused by there strange toungue " umm what are you syaing?" "ur huf oui tu hdu ghfu fryd fa yna cyoehk.. ouiyna kuehk du uin luind " as they said this a big shaddow engulfed the island. Aloysius looked up to see that the sky was being shaddowed by what he could only assume was a big giant space ship. he seemed to be beamed up to the ship he was now in what appeared to be a court room. he was outomaticaly chained. "fa yna kydranat rana dutyo du tapyda dra lryankac bmylat ykeychd drec ehtejetiym. eh ylluntyhla fedr uid myfc fa femm keja res y dnyhcmydun. oui cen yna lrynkat fedr dar lnesa uv cdaymehk vnus drec bancuh nekrd haqd du oui ruf tu oui bmayt?" a man came to him and whispered in his ear "we are gathered here today to debate the chaerges placed agiasnt this individual. in accordance with out laws we will give him a translator. you sir are charged with the crime of stealing from this person right next to you how do you plead?" ahh now he understod this person next to him tought he stole something . whell this was time for his smooth talking he spke in a loud manner so his voice could be heard " i do not know this person right next to me. and if i had been the one to steal from this person i would never be cought. i wonder sire have you seen me steal from you?" his translater then chimed in translating for him. Aloysius paid close attention to the words he said hopping he could learn by himself " e tu hud ghuf drec bancuh nekrd haqd du sa. yht ev e ryt paah dra uha du cdaym vnus drec bancuh e fuimt hajan pa luikrd. e fuhtan cena ryja oui caah sa cdaym vnus oui?" " oac e ryja oui cdaam so vnied dra sehida oui lysa ehdu drec ecmyht" " yes i have you steel my fruit the minute you came into this island" Aloysius smiled and ooked up this time he spoke in fluent al bhed "cenc ruf luimt e ryja cdumah vnus drec ehtejetiym? oac e luimt ryja tuha cu pid ra ryc y pintah v bnuuv du dno yht bnuja dryd ed ec dnia. ra lyhhud vun ajah ev e ryt cdumah e fuimt hud ryja palyica e ryja suhao du byo so ufh vaac. huf e cikkacd e byo drec syh dra tysykac ra caagc du bid uh sa"they where all amazed by his learning of there languge tehmatter was settled thus and Aloysius was taken back down but he ended up in some ruins they told him what he would have to do to reach the gate and how to control where he was going549 words

After pondering for a while, Udai Taxim returned to his workshop. He had some work to do right now before he left. He sat down at his workbench. He had some work to do. Looking down at the components he really did not know where to start. He was a weapons designer, little else. He really did not know how to make a breathing regulator. He smiled. He was an engineer, he just needed to look at this from another way. He knew that a regulator filtered poison and provided clean oxygen for a relative amount of time. That was convenient. Quite convenient indeed. What was needed to do such a thing? A small oxygen tank, filters. It was that simple. So then he got to work.

Gokai [Circe], Chishio | Hiki [Gilman], Sawa | Kenkaku [Al Bhed], Houhei | Nushi [West], Okashi "We left him at the Academy but we couldn't return there. Someone at the docks said that he left the Academy and came here."
"Where is here?"
"Chishio, Okashi," Sawa interrupts gesturing towards someone sitting on a bench in the busily city of Spira. Chishio, Okashi, and Chishio had traveled from the docks to the back of the city. They found themselves staring at the boy sitting on the bench alone in the center of the ground park they'd found.
"Houhei!" Okashi calls out cheerily as he runs towards the male. The boy raises his head, clear blue eyes gazing at the small child nearing him. His saddened expression lights up as he tosses his head to the side, his rich blond hair shifting atop his head.
"Okashi, oui lysa ymm dra fyo rana palyica uv sa. E's cunno E mavd. E fyhdat du veht oui pid drah E ryt caluht druikrdc yht dneat du nadinh. Cytmo dra ylytaso uvveleymc fuimth'd mad sa pylg ehceta. The front of his hair spikes on the right side of his head as if windswept, and the front towards his edges is smoother and more flaky like the back of his hair. He stands as Sawa steps over to Okashi's side. He and Sawa exchange eye contact before his eyes fall to meet those of a child even smaller than Okashi. He looks from the child over to Okashi who smiles.
"Drec ec Chishio Gokai, y vneaht. Cra fyc dnyjamehk fedr ic pavuna pid cetat ykyehcd kuehk du dra ylytaso." Okashi smiles after responding. Houhei mirrors his smile as Chishio sparks a dark smirk.
"Houhei Kenkaku... there is something dark about you. I wonder if you even know it is there," Chishio says with a giggle. Houhei becomes confused and looks at Okashi.
"Cra cyet hudrehk uv esbundyhla. Ymm eh ymm, cra knaadc oui gehtmo."
"Dryd'c fuhtanvim. Cu drah cra fuimt hud seht so cittah bnacahla eh dra knuib drah?"

Houhei bows slightly: one arm delicately pressed into the cloak he dawned while the other is swept out at his side. With his outstretched hands palm to the sky, he bends it up to cover his eyes.
"Thank you, Okashi." Okashi and Sawa jump in surprise as Chishio snorts.
"Bout time you started making sense. I couldn't understand a word you were spewing over there. You either, Okashi," Chishio mutters as Okashi laughs nervously. Sawa's expression returns to normal as Houhei stands upright, his arms falling to his sides.
"Dryd'c ymm oui lyh cyo, ech'd ed?"
"Oac, Okashi. E fyc bnyldelehk uh dra Leapster du yllusbmecr zicd dryd. Uhla E tet, dra pyddano teat, druikr."
"Ur? Drah E'mm keja oui y hafan Leapster. Drec uha ec dra mydacd janceuh," Okashi reaches into his shirt and draws out a Leapster as Houhei hands the one he has to Sawa. Sawa takes it and then hands it to Okashi who stows it away in the same place.
"Where the heck do you get the money for these toys, Okashi?"
"Oh, um. I am very well paid for the things I do, Chishio. However, I helped make the Leapster so it's the least they could do." Chishio, never really surprised by much, seemed to portray a surprised expression.
"You're something else, Okashi," Chishio replies as Okashi laughs childishly. Sawa seems to smile at the two as Houhei watches the three of them. Something inside of him was enjoying this. He felt like these three were the closest thing to a family unit he had seen in a long time.
"Dra vydran," Houhei thinks as he looks at Sawa, "dra ouihkan cecdan," Houhei continues looking Chishio. "Yht dra amtan pnudran dryd deac dra vysemo dukadran. E fuhtan..." Houhei continues looking Okashi then the sky, "frana E ved ehdu drec vysemo." Words = ?

He looked towards what he had been tinkering with and was not sure if what he wanted to do was right. It was decent all things considered chat he was not sure if he had it right. Theoretically the re-breather was supposed to used the compressed air for about three minutes of extra oxygen That was about as much oxygen as he could fit into it. The thing was looking workable, but he honestly was not sure. Only time in battle would tell for it. Udai sighed and lit up a cigarette. Breathing in the smoke he smiled. Nicotene was one of the few things in his life that he still enjoyed. After a long stint in prison, he had acquired a love for Lucky Strikes, both with and without a filter. They tasted quite good honestly. He took another look at the rebreather, wondering if there was anything that he was not sure about. Wondering if there was any mistake that would lead to his death if he ever used it in battle. However, everything looked perfect so he did not know.

Udai Taxim rubbed his eyes. Several sleepless nights. He was exhausted right now. However it was completely worth it though. The walls of his workshop showed that. Dozens of weapons were completed. That was fortunate for him right now. Still he needed to figure out how to build a few more things before he continued on and started to look wander the world. He wiped the sweat off of his face and reached into his pocket, taking out his cigarettes. He grabbed an American Spirit from the box and lit it. They were not his favorite smokes, but they were good when he was drinking, and when he needed to relax. He had a lot of work a head of him, planning on making a grenade. He smiled thinking about it.

Udai continued smoking his cigarette while thinking about how he was going to go about his work. He needed air. He felt a need to see the sun after all of this time out of it. And he was hungry. He had so many needs at this point that he really was not going to be able to get any work done without dealing with it. He got up grabbing a gun to put at his side. he put on his jacket and left the lab. He had to cover his eyes while they tried to adjust to the light of the sun. But it did feel good to be smelling something outside of his own sweat. Fresh air going in with the cigarette smoke was wonderfully soothing. He exhaled the smoke, feeling the light headedness of the nicotine high. He was starting to enjoy that feeling a little bit too well. Finally after a few moments, he took his hand from in front of his eyes and saw the town. His people section of the villages was relatively interesting and quite advanced all things considered. At least it had a decent amount of fire and smoke and pollution coming out if its chimneys. Weaponmakers, gunsmiths, explosive experts and the like. He stretched his arms and yawned. He finished his cigarette and put it out before lighting another one. He was enjoying the taste of these American Spirits right now. Enjoying them a lot these days. This was becoming a horrible habit for him recently. He took a puff from the cigarette before starting on a walk. He was going nowhere in particular at this particular point, just walking around to get his bearings down. He needed to clear his head before he could get back to work. And he needed to get something to eat. His rumbling stomach actually reminded him of that fact. He walked around aimlessly seeing familiar faces every once in a while. He was just transversing the streets, the blocks, enjoying the scenary. After a couple of hours, he finally went to a ramen stand. It turned out that it was still breakfast time so he ordered a cup of coffee with his pork raman. He smiled at the chef as he gave his order. The chef in return gave Udai Taxim a knowing smile. he knew the feeling when someone needed to wake up quick. However he had not seen Udia in a good long while. That was interesting enough for him. He went about making the ramen, chopping up the noodles and stewing the pork loins. When he finished up all of that and poured the noodles into the soup, he finally poured Udai his cup of coffee. By then Udai had finally finished his cigarette and started sipping on the coffee. He hated the taste of black coffee, but he enjoyed the feeling of pure, undiluted caffeine hitting his heart on an empty stomach. he really needed needed that feeling. He looked around the stand and was surprised that more people have not shown up to grab something to eat. He was not complaining all that much. He could deal with eating alone. He was not really looking forward to telling people that he was building an armory in his lab. It was true that he was quite literally arming an army. He was also behind on said arming. He still had to build an air ship and arm that, let along load all of the weapons onto the ship. He was lost in thought about how hard all that was going to be when he finally got his meal. Udai thanked the chef and began to eat. He was starving and the ramen hit the spot perfectly. He finished the bowl paid and left. At this point he went back to his lab. He had a lot of work to do if he wanted to get out of this place.

Peace was a wonderful thing for Joachim, he did not know how the others would be able to handle it, but for the most part he did not care that was until the eons once again visited him in his dreams, the warned him about what the santa was doing, he was sealing away villages because a few did not enjoy the peace? that did not sound like the kind of thing a peace loving man would do. Joachim looked at his staff and at Genji. he did not know why he was allowed to keep it, maybe santa's power ended in the shinobi realm but he could not just stand here and let thing be the way they where. He stood up leaving the bed of his knew found marriage his love looking up at him with sad eyes. he smiled at her promising to return to her. her one horn looked at him and he promised to allow her to come with him next time. he then left for the Zanarkand ruins in his mind alrady calling the eons for help, this would be a long battle one he was not sure he would survive

The two female's eyes grew wide as they entered threw the door way. it had been years since they both entered this beautiful place and not a day went by that they both wished to be born here, but alas it was not meant to be. 707 could only let a light smile appear on her face as she walked through the gate. She loved chaos and death however this particular dimension was something that was fine to her. It was a world with different rules and odd lands which could not compare to her old world. Maybe she would not have been in love with the darkness if she lived in this world. ' No.. Even in the light there is a darkness hiding.' She thought while turning her head to look at her Protector, seeing that he was walking right behind her. Her gaze then went to Mashira who seemed to be in awe as well. " I take it you remember this place very well?" She asked while looking down at the child. She couldn't help but to smirk at the other females form. It was funny how time seemed to repeat it's self. " Of course I do. What a stupid question to ask." Mashira said, giving a small glare towards the taller women. When she did this the girls eyes grew wide, never realizing how tall the other female really was. She appeared to be at least 6'9" or something near that. She then shook her head 'no' and turned her head to look forward at the amazing place." Let's go find Cid. Maybe he can teach us both something useful." She said while crossing her arms over her chest and started to walk ahead. 707 shrugged her shoulders when hearing the child speak, only to fallow after her without question. She gave a quick glance back, seeing that the male was fallowing them. ' Good boy,..' She thought while looking straight ahead/ She had almost forgotten about the people in this land so it would be interesting to see them again. Being here would do them some good. They both still needed to get back in to training, epically 707. Her body was physically weak from all the chemicals that they placed within her body. She almost had no muscle if she wasn't in any of her forms. Her eyes suddenly narrowed as she thought back to why she was this way. ' Looks like I will have to pay my master a visit soon. I have to thank him for my own life but maybe I should remind him to not mess with a creation that is stronger then he is..' She said as a small smile appeared on her face.

Joachim Sighed as he flew in the air on the back of Behamut. Santa had retreated, he did not know if it was the right thing to do, in truth the obnly th8ing he had figured out was that it was needed, his eons where still around as was his genji blade, he looked at it, he could not believe that it was back he still had a lot of things to learn a lot of thing to do. the sound of Behamut changing his altitude brought joachim out of his revere. he smiled as he nodded and let Behamut vanish forcing him to fall tot eh earth.
a mighty yell would announce his entrance to the told as he screamed in happiness there was no rush like the sound of the wind rushing to stop you, as he got even closer to the earth. he smiled as he cast slow on himself making his speed decrease by half his invisible vectors then helped to slow his decent enough that it would appear, to anyone who could not see his vectors which would be most people, that he had just slowdown his fall. he smiled as he touched the floor"i am back home.. may the eons guide me once again" he smiled as he looked ahead of him he did not know that he landed near some strangers

"What the..?" Mashira muttered as her ears twitched a few times, hearing the sound of a male screaming with joy not to far away. She moved her head back and force, trying her best to find out where the sound was coming from. After a few moments of making sure that the person wasn't on the ground the child simply looked up, seeing a male who appeared to be landing on the ground. As she watched she could only tilt her head to the side, unsure of what to think of the male who was now in front of them. When hearing him speak the younger female could only end a confused glance towards 707 before returning her attention back to the male. "Eons?" She asked as her right eyebrow went up and her left lowered. 707 watched the odd scene play out in front of her. She didn't mind the random appearance of the male however the sound of pure happiness was something she found rather odd. To her to appeared to be a scene in a graphic horror movie of some kind and she would for once not be the once who was slaughtering thousands. The older female glanced down at Mashira when hearing her question only to return her attention back to the unknown male, being also curious on who a Eons was and why the male was feeling such joy. ' Is eros your peoples god or something?" She asked, waiting for the male to turn and see that he had landed in front of people.

Joachim felt the adrenalin of his actions slowly fade when he heard someone speaking to him he turned around and faced the strangers. his smile had slowly faded and his eyes had less passion then did before, in his hand was the rustic scabbard of Genji." i m sorry if i have scarred you, welcome to spira i am called Joachim'Joachim smiled he was always a gentlemen first and considering that he startled them he thought it would be nice to introduce himself, as he looked at them and there clothing he noticed how opposite they seemed. one of them wearing what he assumed was a dress for LITTLE GIRL HER HAIR HER EYES EVERYTHIng POINTED TO AN INNOCENT little girl, but his experience in the shinobi world had told him other wise the more innocent something looked the more deadly it was, the other girl by comparison seemed like a bonnified threat the fishnet dress? did not help at all he noticed the tattoo on her right arm and wondered if it meant anything, he was glad her hair covered her chest he decided early on that even though it was not the best policy he woudl stare into there eyes and face." the eons are not gods, they are the spirit of people from the past who use there power to guide us and to help us right the wrongs of the world.. at least that's the basics."

The young child could only blink a few times from confusion as she watched the males expression change from such a cheerful way to something that started to lack passion. She couldn't put her finger on it however she could only guess that their own presence was not fully embraced by the strange male. When hearing him speak a playful smile appeared on her face as she leaned back on the heels of her feet, swaying a bit in a childish manner. ' Nice to meet you Joachim," She said in a false cheerful voice. "My name is Mashira from Twilight." She explained only to give a wave of her left hand. She loved playing innocent as it was something that was expected of her. It was more annoying to be treated as an adult with a series attitude then a child. Much more fun to 'play' with others. When hearing him speak of what the Eons where she could only nod her head 'yes' getting the picture of what he was talking about. A small smile appeared on 707's face, causing her sewn mouth to bleed at the stitches on the side. She was amused by the males attitude and could not fully understand on why he was being so kind to strangers. It did not make seance in this world yet little did to her. "My masters call me 707 . I do not mean to be rude to you sir for it really is my name." She said, wanting to explain her self just incase she came off a bit off. She did not wish to tell him where she came from, simply because the lab was annoying to explain. The female glanced at him, head to toe, and took a note of detail on his clothing and appearance in general. She couldn't help but to notice the odd red eyes the male had, reminding her of a few of the infected in her world."May we ask why are you so happy to be home?" She asked while staring directly in to his eyes. "Oh ja! You seemed far too happy and yet now you do not... " Mashira said while putting on a childish pout on her face, as if it truly did effect her feelings besides being curious.
