"Hm. I doubt it's something anyone else really thinks about, unless they're a bit too high on life." He'd snicker to himself, trying to crack a bit of a joke and laughing more out of anxiety for her reaction than anything else. "All right, keeping up the quid pro quo: Why is it you're s interested in what I am? I only ask because most others simply shy away, or ignore what I am. I'm by no means any sort of 'good guy,' nor am I one to shy from shedding blood, and yet, you seem to have no quarrels over my following you. You seem to simply...well, almost enjoy it, as if it were all a performance."

Nimm smiled thoughtfully, the thought had crossed her mind before too. Here was a person that she, for once, couldn't fight back against should something go wrong, and truthfully after seeing what he was capable of, she probably should of taken off running a long time ago.
"I don't know really. You were the first person that didn't find me the least bit odd or horrible when you saw what I could do. Even Rayvn was overly cautious when we first met." She laced her fingers through her hair in nervous habit, tugging on a strand that hung over her shoulder. "I made it a point early on to try to understand things or people that I didn't know anything about, that way I wouldn't have to be afraid of anything, or have to depend on anyone for anything." She smiled a bit. "Aside from that, you haven't given me any reason to run away from you, regardless of what you are or what you've done."

"You have the perfect curiosity; knowing as much about those you take any sort of interest to at all shows great intelligence." He'd look to her with almost a proud smile, then look to the sky and feeling somewhat soothed by it's dark blue haze.
"So why haven't you run from me? Why is it you instead insist on leading me to a cherished memory? I'm a creature of the night born from a tyrant. That alone would send any sensible person running."

She smiled, laughing lightly. "It's like I said, you haven't given me a reason too." She titled her head to one side slightly, still smiling at him. "The way you talk about yourself, make it sound as if I should care, or judge you because your not like everyone else. If I did that, it would kind of make me a hypocrite don't ya think?"

"Almost true. What people do to you is wrong because they damn you before they can even know you. The difference here is of course the fact that you know me, or at leas for the most part." He'd take a chocolate bar from his coat and remove the wrapper halfway, and with a crack he'd take a small bite from the bar.
"I lust for blood and carnage, and quite honestly the suffering of others brings me such joy it makes my blood boil. Granted I've no intention of harming you, these are not traits any sane person, much less a SAFE person portrays." He'd close his eyes and keep walking, chewing the chocolate until the chewing would gradually become slower until he'd open his eyes and stare at her for a moment. "Unless...there's a bit of sadism hidden behind those innocent eyes? A deep down maliciousness that gets a cheap thrill when I put a slow, painful end to a city of what may of been innocent themselves?"

"I've met people that would be considered both safe and sane, one of which shot me. Thats the things with those types of people, you don't expect them to do teh things you do, you don't expect them to throw you against walls and call you names that you wish you didn't know the meaning of." She frowned slightly, that edge that had made an appearance way back when came up once more, only to disappear as if it was never there.
She'd look up at him as he questioned whether or to she was harboring some sort of sadism in herself. After a moment she shrugged. "You get treated badly by enough people, you end up not really caring when something bad happens to them."

Her response was nothing short of beautiful in his ears. It didn't so much like sadism, more along the lines of vengeance. He'd take another bite from his bar of chocolate and grin as he thought his response over with a wide grin on his face.
"That makes sense; I certainly prefer that attitude over the ignorant 'though they've done wrong to me I'll be above them!' attitude. You always seem to say something that makes me smile, you know that? Even something as...well, as theoretically simply as the response to a question always makes me...happy. Thank you, for talking to me..."

Nimm smiled happily and nodded. "Any time, glad I could help in making you happy. I like talking to you too, though if the me asking questions things starts to bug you, just let me know." she looked off to the side a bit as she continued down the road. 'When was the last time I talked so much?' she'd shrug the question aside, not really caring about the answer herself at the moment. The air started to get a much cleaner smell to it as they walked, having left the city smog behind. Far off in the distance was the speck of an old cottage type house.

"Questions will never bother me. It's simply the pursuit of knowledge, one I encourage everyone to inquire in to their lives, and I am not one to deny people knowledge, no matter how trivial it may seem." He'd look to her with a warm smile, then take in a breath...he'd never felt air this clean. No smog, no residue of wars, no blood...nothing. It almost felt like he wasn't breathing, which would freak him out a bit, though it'd soon be remedied by a bite of chocolate. He'd see the cottage in the distance and arch a brow, then smile, whispering under his breath. "If ever I could of chosen a home, somewhere to grow up, it'd be somewhere just like that...she's lucky."

Nimm returned the smile and kept walking, looking up briefly to see the old house. 'Guess it was never that far after all...or we've been walking longer then I thought.' she smirked and close her eyes a moment, stretching her arms above her head then dropping them back at her sides. A few moments later and the ground on the one side of the path took on a more leafy terrain, small white flowers dotting the leaves here and there.
The closer to the cottage they got, the thicker the leaves. Nimm smiled and laughed a bit. "Looks like they've gone a bit wild since I was last here, they've gone and choked the weeds themselves out." she smiled and pointed to the wide field of leaves. "This is what I wanted to show you, it's my mom's strawberry field. It goes clear back to that line of trees." It was about two acres of field she gestured too, the line of trees cutting off the property. Two the side of the field stood the old cottage, stone walls looking old an worn, and as if the only thing that held it together was the ivy that covered majority of it. A few of the windows were boarded up and those that weren't were frosted over with dust and cobwebs, shielded from the elements by over hanging ivy leaves and vines, even the door was hard to make out. Behind it was another field looking like it was once for corn, tomatoes and other assorted vegetables. a line of rocks formed a barrier along each field, and curved the path up to where the door to the house was.
Nimm stood staring at the strawberry field, ignoring the house and other portion of the garden. "You asked me why I liked strawberries so much, probably because from as early as I can remember I use to help my mom plant, pick, and eat them." she smiled.

"Well that does make sense...though as to how in the world you remain tolerant to the same taste for so long is beyond me. From what I've gathered on humans, if you eat the same thing continually, you'll grow tired or even sicken of it." He'd carefully make his way in to the fields, making sure not to step on any strawberries. He'd eventually kneel down and pluck one, then take in the smell. "They don't smell half bad..." He'd take a bite of it and swish it around in his mouth before spitting it in to the air and snapping his fingers, causing the projectile food to incinerate. "And they don't taste half bad either." He'd stand back up and turn towards Nimm, chocolate bar still in hand and arch a brow at it. "I've also gathered that my beloved liquefied and re-solidified bean goes great with them..." And with that, he'd place the rest of the strawberry on his bar and take a bite. He'd take in the flavor...then just about melt. He'd end up swallowing it...but the results wouldn't show yet. "IT'S ORGASMIC!"
He'd then look off to the cottage and use the cursed eye to look it over thoroughly, growing rather depressed as he saw more and more wooden planks and webs. The vines were a nice touch, but it looked so...sad. "Nimm, why is it this beautiful place was abandoned? I can't imagine why anyone would want to leave this - " His own body would cut him off by bringing him to his knees in crippling pain, forcing him to wrap his arms around his stomach and shake. Soon, he'd let loose a long waterfall of blackened blood form his mouth. After a few repeats of this, he'd stand back up and shudder a bit before looking back to Nimm as if nothing had happened. "Why would anyone want to leave this new-age Eden?"

"I did get sick of them a few times, but it's been awhile since I had them though, and it's more about the memory of this place then anything else." She watched him take a bite of the strawberry with some chocolate, and really couldn't help herself but laugh at his remark about it.
The laugh died down as he asked about the house and her smile looked more forced then anything now. She started to answer, only to stop as he started to wretch. She moved into the field, placing a hand on his back. "Are you alright?"

"Huh? Oh yes, I'm fine. As I said: My body can't take in anything but blood...well, and chocolate, but I've had centuries to tinker with myself to allow that. So long as I don't eat too terribly much of anything, I'll be fine." He'd shrug, fully aware this was going to be the end result, but his curiosity could rival even Ishado's.
"So what's wrong with the house, hm? Your heartbeat was a bit off there for a second with the thought of it...if I'm not butting in to your past too much, might I ask what memories you hold of this place other than strawberries?" He'd remove a black handkerchief as he spoke, then wipe his mouth once he was finished. He'd then toss the handkerchief in to the air and it'd soon turn to dust and blow away in the wind.

Nimm looked to the house and frowned slightly. True not all the memories in that house were bad. She watched as the handkerchief turned to dust and disappeared the take a deep breath. "I spent six years of my life living there, and up until the last three months of those six years it wasn't so bad. I had two loving parents that made a living off there gardens, and everything was sunshine and rainbows for the longest time." She smirked. She moved and took a seat on one of the rocks that lines the field, facing Singe and back to the house.
"My power just sort of showed up one day, no warning signs, no spurts of it here and there. I was out climbing a tree and went to grab a branch, and it decayed and broke on me, I ran home to tell me my mom and when I went to hug her, well, you've seen what happens to people when I touch them." She laced her finger through a stand of hair again. "My dad wasn't sure what had happened, though he did see it since he was working in his garden back there." she gestured to the corn field. "He took my mom to the hospital and after a few hours came back home. I have to say I give him points though, cause for awhile he acted like everything was fine and attempted to deal with me and my new "gift" as he tried to title it."
She paused closing her eyes a moment in an attempt to recall everything in the order that it happened. "He use to go once a day to visit mom in the city, and each time he came home he'd just seem to get worse and worse. After awhile he'd lock himself in his room as soon as he got home, sometime for a few minutes, and other times for the rest of the night. It usually depended on teh news he got I guess. I remember that every time he came out though he would force a smile and say 'Everythings okay, she'll get better.' and just repeat it a few times. After a month of my mom being in the hospital, I think thats when he started to snap. Kind of like a rope wearing thin ya know. It's starts to fray at the edges, but for awhile it can still work and do it's job."

He'd fold his arms and listen to her story carefully, able to see a good portion of it taking place in reality using another of his cursed eye's 'gifts.' Thus, he'd look from her, to the little stone building, to the fields, the tree...all over.
"So...your father was losing hope, and his mind. He sounds rather weak; sorry if my opinion offends you...but earlier, you said you'd put him in the hospital as well, or at least he was indeed there and you made it sound like you couldn't be happier. What exactly happened with him? Just how low did he sink, Nimm?"
As he awaited her answer, he'd also pull the Grand Grimoire from his coat once more and allow it to levitate in front of him. The pages would turn rapidly once more, flipping to a specific page. Rather than Singe look at, he'd place his right hand above it and use a vamperic gift. To make sure he could be courteous and keep his eyes on Nimm, he'd indeed keep his eyes glued to her, though a third eye would appear in the center of his right palm that'd take in the information from the unholy book and 'log it' thus allowing him to also listen to Nimm with ease.
