"Haven't seen a fine piece like that in quite a while." CD mimicked Valco almost perfectly tapping her fingers on the bar top. She had a few tattoos of her own, but the only one that was really noticeable was the power symbol on the upper part of her right arm. It was a well done tattoo, and she was quite proud of it, despite the jokes and teasing she had to put up with from the guys about 'getting turned on'. She rolled her eyes with a chuckle and leaned her elbows on the bar, her fingers twined together and she rested her chin on her fingers. Her hands still shook a little, but it wasn't as noticeable as it had been before. She was calming down a little, becoming less tense about being in a new place where there were people she didn't trust.

Cilla laid in her bunk in the back room of the barracks. "God I hate just..." she said to herself drifting off into thought as she stared at the floor. The cold cement stared back at her. Her thoughts wound around how she had dreamed of fighting beside her dad, his mech was her vision of perfection but he refused to use it, promising it would come out in a time of need. It was the same model as Ancillas' but it was so much more advanced, she had tried to use his as inspiration. If her father died she would be able to recieve his mech and blueprints for it. She sat up from laying on her stomach and layed her booted feet on the floor. She leaned over on her knees and sighed trying to keep her mind straight.

Valco took another sip at his beer, wiping his arm across his mouth to dry out his beard. As he stayed in his position he forced himself to ignore the fact that she had just nearly stopped her hand in his crotch. It fell away though and was replaced with true interest after she explained the process of her tattoo and the meaning. "Its a star with eight points, no real name for it or at least not one that I could pronounce." He laughed quietly, reaching up and scratching the back of his neck. "The meaning on it though is about unity through chaos. Amidst the mess of lines, everything is connected and it ends up making a simple geometric pattern."
Feeling a bit more open he turned to face the fair skinned woman, sitting up straight in his bar seat. "Well, you kind of have to expect a tattoo like that to hurt, especially with the metallic flakes. I take it that you had the ink augmented with N-33, then?" He knew that his question was pointless, given how dangerous it was to use that original mutagen in the human body. It had to be taken and refined very carefully, something that only the Corporation had the time and resources to really take care of. Just out of curiosity, though..."What's your trade, hon? I mean, not to be nosy, just wondering what you do for a living."
He smiled at her, standing up suddenly as if a light had gone on in his head. "Ah, dammit, where are my manners. Name's Valco," he said, extending his hand in a greeting.

She smiled slightly at his explanation of the tattoo,"very interesting. Very symbolic of our time..." she mused half to him and half to herself. Mostly unity anyways. She, personally, would never unite for one specific cause. her cause was herself and her work, nothing else and no one else mattered. When he spoke of her tattoo she gave a half grin. "No, nothing like that. A bit of my mech had broke off so I had the part repaired and then the chunk ground down and added to the ink. Sad thing it that the flakes work their way to the surface and fall out so I have to get it re-done every year or so..."
He asked her trade and she was reluctant to speak on that. She had a slight pause but luckily he stood and introduced himself with an extended had. Quit the smooth gentleman. She rose to her feet as well and took his hand coming up to about his chest looking much like a child in comparison. "Lillium Harakhty...last of the true Egyptians and a Mercenary by trade," she stepped closer as she said her name and occupation, close enough that they touched. "It is more than a pleasure to meet you, Valco," she said with a very sly smile, nearly purring his name. "Tell me, what do you do?"

"The last of the true Egyptians, hmm?" CD wouldn't consider just listening to the conversation going on right beside her eaves dropping. "A question for you then, and I don't mean any disrespect by it, have you got any of the pharaoh's blood in you? There are a few people left with ancient royal blood." A closet history buff. Step back you missy, you're to close to my captain and I don't need to hear him mooning over the fist woman he's had in a decade when we have to run and we can't take you with us. CD shook her head. What is wrong with me? Now I'm the one sounding jealous.

Valco smiled, partly from the woman's lovely action and appearance and partly from just how short she was compared to him. "Well, Lillium, its a pleasure to meet you. I can guarantee you that it is." A smile crossed his face, very similar to the one that crossed his face. "But you say you're a mercenary, and that you're a mech pilot? Well, my crew has been down a few for a while ever since we caught a close shave with the Corporation a while back, if you're interested in a job." He sat back down on the stool, finishing off his drink and waving around to gesture to CD, Blade, and James. "These three are part of the crew. I've got no idea where Logan or Koraj are, but they're likely to pop up later on. Sergius is off somewhere too. Anyway, we're the Crimson Wolves."
He was proud, and that was obvious. His crew, although they bickered and snapped from time to time, were some of the best people that he knew. Even Blade, the team's newest member, was nearly a brother to Valco. They were a massively close knit group and, as Valco thought about it, things would be terrible for him if any of the crew left.

<< *Walks in with a big grenade launcher and dressed in a Nazi uniform* Wassup mah niggas? >>
Logan & Koraj woke up from their mechs and slapped themselves, listening to the log. "Hmm... Bar eh..?" They muttered, getting out of their machines and walking in, seeing Valco and the gang. "Sorry sir, managed to fall asleep somehow." They said simultaneously, and looked at each other with a glare.

(( lol srry stranger didn't knwo hwo to respond to your post))
Finishing the drink in front of her Vashti sat in her chair for a while, listening to everything as it happened. She was not one to get into other’s business but, things seemed to be a bit different today. Sliding her chair back, she stood up and walked towards the bar. She used the empty chair to the left of the little red head, she glanced at the bartender. Taking the hint, he went to get her another beer.
“Not really much of my business but, if you really where a true Egyptian may I inquire why your hair is red?” Glancing at the girl then up at the man. Holding back a snicker at the height differences, it was just to much of a comical sight to be seen. The bartender came over with her drink, setting it down on the table and walked away. Vashti reached her hand out as she brought the cup to her lips, taking a sip she placed it back down on the table. “Then again, it isn’t much of my business now is it. A grin on her face she walked back over to her chair, taking a seat. Taking another swig from her cup she placed it back on the table and relaxed into her chair. Her ears still listening to all the conversations around her.

James had been mostly quiet and kept chugging drinks until he was obviously loosing his inhibitions. At the comment CD said about bloodlines James put his arm around her and said, "Eh, I'ma dechendant of ta lasht Jappanese emparur and ten uv ta huu sus preshidences." Then a few seconds later once Logan and Koraj walked in he turned to see who it was then continued his his drunken slurr, "Hey, ta miggit and 'iz luuver are finnally 'ere, we're ya too been?" Then about half a second later he held up the hand that wasn't wrapped around CD and he added one last comment, "Waits, waits, dun anser dat, I dunts wanna no."

<< Yeah I got done a while ago playing as an Axis soldier on Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Axis > Allies on the Beach level, which I always play on. And at close range a .50 Cal sniper won't do as much pain. The bullet fragments wont be able to spread. >>
Logan sighed, and Koraj rolled his eyes. "We fell asleep in the mechs. Things got too damn boring. Besides, we're not homosexual." Logan explained. "And James, your the one who thinks he's in a candy shop when you see a scrapyard. Just like your ancestors, livin on the scraps of the rest of us eh?"
<< Now then, I think it's time I went back. We've got a bunch of noobs on the Allies team, and I'm itchin a massacre. As long as Humble Bee aint on the allies, I'm good. >>

Lillium looked around to the other girl and quirked her eyebrows at the girl. "Pharaoh nothing, my father's line is descended from priests. Pharaohs come and go in greatness and stupidity...priests are ever lasting." Her attentions moved right back to Valco's as she followed suit and sat back down. His offer was interesting, to say the least. She glanced at the others and opened her mouth to respond, but stopped when she heard the other woman speak. "If you must know my generation is not pure blooded Egyptian. We couldn't very well produce inbred swine that so many other cultures to to keep the lines pure. My mother had red hair like mine," she said simply enough though sounded miffed, as if the girl was questioning her heritage.
Back to Valco's offer...she wasn't entirely sure what to do. She was supposed to detain him in this city until the commander arrived. After a moment she gave Valco that selfsame little smirk. "My my aren't we the trusting one..." she mused playfully. "The crimson wolves...alright, I've been in this s**t hole long enough. I accept, captain. I suppose then you would want to see my mech, to make sure he is in a good condition for your uses?" she said as she held out her hand to shake on these matters. Unfortunately you'll be dead before you can head out again. Such a pity really.

(( rolleyes Uhh... I wasn't expecting you to reply to it, Rue. Hence me saying nobody had to read it. But yeah, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do now. Guess I'll just have to keep playing with myself. crying )) "Goddammit..." Blade muttered as he looked down into his glass. "I'm such a putz..." he mumbled before knocking back the remainder of his fifth beer, and slamming the glass mug down on the counter. Blade decided that it was time to end the pity party he was throwing for himself, and join the rest of his comrades, seeing as they were all socializing. The best cure would be to surround himself with his friends. As Blade approached the group, he noticed Logan and Koraj making their entrance. "Where the hell have you assholes been?" he inquired, and then laughed when he heard their reply to James. Either way they tried to put it, it still sounded bad. "James, how long have you been here? And you're already that sloppy drunk? Man, you're a light-weight." Blade teased as he snapped his fingers at the bartender again, and threw down some more stones. "Here, have another beer." Blade insisted as he took the glass, and pressed it to James' chest. "And Valco, you owe me a game of pool. You got lucky last time." Blade challenged as his eyes wandered about the new women. "And is someone gonna introduce me...?"((Hah! There. Now everybody has to deal with me. domokun ))

((You addressed everyone but me. Which means, you get to deal with the nut job.))
CD took a sip from her drink, looking back over her shoulder at Blade. "Nope. I'm not. I don't deal with religious types. Bad experience when I was younger. Some idiot priest tried to expell some demon from me. Failed miserably of course." She grinned at her comrade behind Valco's back, obviously just trying to be a general pain in the a**, and trying to piss Lillium off. CD wasn't quite sure why, but she did not like this woman at all. Huh, must just be that I'm worried she'll infringe upon my territory. I'm used to being the only girl on this gig. She took another sip from her drink, hooking one leg over the other and leaning one arm on the back of the chair, half turned around. "So," Her eyes turned silver. "Tell your missus you were willing to cheat on her with a psychopath?"

((AWESOME. xd And yeah, I realized, I just couldn't think of a way to address CD at the time. But I was not aware that she was a nut-job. lol)) "Religious types...?" Blade mused as he looked at the women. Oh great... he thought. Were these a bunch of religious fanatics trying to convert Valco? If so, what were they doing in a bar? And knowing Valco, he'd probably go along with it, just to get some. "So you still got that little demon inside you, eh? What's it's name?" Blade asked, but his eyes kind of sunk when she mentioned the wife. She must have overheard him, and Blade wasn't exactly open about his hang-ups. "No..." he trailed off, thinking about it a bit. How did Karen know that he was making passes at other women? "Did you...?" Blade inquired of her seriously.

"No. I didn't. Why would I? I don't know her." CD sighed as she looked at Blades crestfallen face and she patted the barstool beside her. "Park it and get yourself a drink before your face sticks like that. You're ugly enough as it is Blade, I don't need to run into you looking even worse. I'd die of a heart attack." She gave him a crooked grin, trying to get the big man to cheer up a little.
