Right off the bat I would normally say 'no' to the idea, but I like to at least give things a chance before completely shooting them down. >.<

yoshigali I'm going to third the 'no' to marrying sprites. Cereah, I like the idea about sprites marrying each other, very cute!! Honestly, an 'emo' character that's even more 'emo' than the 'gloomy' characters we already have would be extremely difficult in my opinion. But...that's just me. sweatdrop Actually, I just meant that he had the black hair and maybe had a makeup design under his eye, or something. perahps a tattoo. Maybe a leather jacket and some chains. Make it a bit more modern, ya know? I fugure he could be like, Gustafa's cousin or something who came up to check the place out. He'd probably have an electric gutiar. Like, more punk rocker than anything. He'd probably be a sweet, well-behaved punk/emo who just wants to rock out. Likes food, especially cooked. Along with crystals and stuff (is Gustafa's cousin and all). Lives with Gustafa. And if anyone says "Jonas Brother" you will face the wrath of my killer goblin bunnies.

Okay, so these are my ideas...some city-kid comes to visit his uncle Gustafa every summer while school is out. Maybe he falls for some highfalutin girl who plays viola in the city. He's got dark brown hair (just to be similar to Gustafa) and wears some eyeliner. No overly skinny jeans, though >_<
How about bass guitar, just to separate him from the rest?
Loves home-cooked meals and tea.
Throw in more suggestions because I'm just rambling.

I thought maybe he could be a little bit younger, like 20-25 and came over to the village for a change of pace after living in a city up until then and didn't really like it. So he came to live with Gustafa who's his cousin or something. He might have visited when he was younger. Bass guitar sound cool. So I guess that could signify that he's deep and not known so well by the other villagers.

And if you haven't already taken notice, there are three towns to live in in this game, so you could choose to live in the city with him for the rest of the year if you wanted to. :

Oh, I get it now! Sorry, it's just the way that you said "city-kid" and 'everysummer when school let out" I thought you were going ot make him 13 or something . . . Unless you're doing the you start as a kid and continue from there idea, in that case, just keep doing what you're doing!

Since the character is growing most of the eligible candidates will have to start young too, as you just brought up. I kind of forgot about that. XD
Alright, I'm okay with an emo-looking kid- especially if he plays guitar. >.>

Wow, I just joined the guild, and this topic really caught my eye.
First of all, I'd like to say that I'd love to help in any way I can.
(I could probably do some voice acting, and perhaps other things depending)
The only problem is that I don't know anything about the project yet.
I don't know what's done, what still needs doing, what's available to do, what's already been claimed, what characters the game will have, who's doing who's voices, etc., etc.
I don't even know what graphical style the game will be using.
If someone could... Oh, I donno...
Make a list?
That would be pretty awesome.
Of course, for all I know, this project could be dead.
I didn't exactly read through every post (it's a pretty long thread).
Anyway, if there's some way I could help, I'd love to.

I think the project is on temporary hiatus, but we really accept any and all help. ^^
There aren't really official titles, which is why there's no posting on the first page, but we all just kind of contribute what we can when we have time. ^^
I try to check in occasionally, but it's busy. XD
