I normally hate Valentine's day, but this year even though I have no one to call my sweet heart I'm excited about it. I've made or bought a few gifts for those I really care about and the sight of red heart decorations excite me, maybe its just because after all the sadness I've seen recently with my police friends its good to see something so light hearted as Valentine's day either way I know I won't be emo for this one and I hope no one else is emo if they are I will tickle them ^^ heart

Eff Em @Cuter: BUT BUT BUT! *really has no argument* I just have a million what-ifs running through my mind. What if he isn't interested? What if he already has a girlfriend? What if he says no for whatever reason, will work be awkward?
Not that I have any reason to believe any of those. @-@ I'm just reaaally bad when it comes to romance. xD
I mean, the worst that could happen would be getting shot down, but if you approach it in a casual way, the fall won't be so hard and it'll just be kind of a brush off? Instead of a "OMG I LOVE YOU T____T" to get the "Uh, I'm already taken?" followed by the endless awkward moment of doom. >>
I had a huge crush on a guy I was taking lifeguarding training with, and the whole time, I soooo badly wanted to ask him out. And I never did. And the classes ended, and I never saw him again, so now I have countless more "what if's" than had I actually gotten up enough courage to do it. ):

Haha. I normally get gifts for close friends on V-day but I rememebered about it too late this year (late last week) for me to order gag gifts online. I'll probably end up buying a bag of chocolate and just giving it out to people.

I remembered that it was mandatory that we had to give -everyone- in the class one, so no one felt left out. So we saved all the 'good' ones in our sets to give to our friends, and all the ugly ones to everyone else. XD

I emailed my older brother for a bit of advice and he said I pretty much nailed it. Approach it casually. In his words - "wort of casually but showing that you have interest". I guess I should probably do it. biggrin It's not that I'm EXPECTING to be fired or anything, but this is my first job, part time, and if they needed to cut staff for whatever reason, I'm sure I'd be at the top of the list. @-@ *is the newest employee* So if something unexpected were to happen... yeah... that'd suck.
