The gifted smiled genuinely, then turned back to his work.
"If you want juicy secrets, you're not going to find them here. Just lots of electronics, a couple books, and clothes."
Ripping open the bag of chips, he drew out one and munched on it as he typed in another line of text.

Elwood rapped on the car window. "Having a bit of trouble?" He smiled at Archer. "Or are you just being naturally violent again?" Miko slid out from behind him, his dark eyes flashing over the entire car. It was obvious how Elwood had found them; Miko's powers, while uncontrollable to a degree, were also quiet powerful.
Good cop, or bad cop?
Elwood turned and gave a Dark-style smile. I've always been partial to bad. He thought back.

Ruth felt bad about Archer's lack of care. Sure, this lady had nearly shot at them, but she wasn't sure they should treat her like baggage. Still, Gifted were treated like pests.
"Look, lady, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm going to take you in. Ruth, cuff her."
"But Archer-!"
"What? You having second thoughts? This is an agent, Ruth! If you really want to justify this more to yourself, her driving is a public menace. I know about the law. I used to work for it. Before I began breaking it."
Ruth glowered at her and froze the air around the Agent's hands into ice. Instant handcuffs.

Eve looked at them strangely."Take me where?"She asked.
Raiden had finished feeding and was now looking for Retto, Ana, and the others.He connected to Miko's mind.'Where are you guys?' He asked.
The police officer walked over to the car.He looked to Elwood and Miko."I need you two to leave, as for the rest of you get out of the car."He said.

"Oh, nowhere in particular. Just to the Government so we can trade you in for a better model!" Archer growled. She was making herself look big again. Ruth tapped her on the shoulder.
"Look, let's just get away from here as fast as we can. There's a real cop here!"
"What a cop? Well I never. They've got some nerve." Archer grabbed everyone within reach.
"What are you doing? I'm not Shifting again!"
"Slowing time. It'll get us where we want. Coming, boys?"

Mercav's eyes narrowed, "I'm sure."
Finally fed up, Clare stood up and grabbed Mercav's hand, pulling him into the kitchen, "You!" She hissed, "I can't believe you! This man is offering us, two complete strangers, a place to stay and hospitality and all you can do is interrogate him!"
Mercav crossed his arms defiantly and leaned against the wall, "He's hiding something. I can tell."
Clare let out an exasperated sigh, "What, his dirty laundry?"
"No. There's something he is not telling us. I intend to find out what it is."
"No you won't!" Clare stamped her foot, "If you don't shaping up, I'll send your ghostly rear to hell faster than you can say Desruc."
"Desruc." Mercav sneered and then returned back to the living room.

Since she was finished with her piece of art she looked around the room at the other pieces. She was amazed how many interesting pieces there were here. Suddenly for some reason, she wasn't bored anymore

Watching them go, Desruc had the strongest urge to laugh. They acted so very much like a married couple. Staring at the computer screen, waiting until they were out of desk-seeing radius, he rested his hands lightly on the keyboard and sent his mind into the computer, freezing and quickly diving into a file that, according to any normal person who snooped around on his computer, didn't exist.
Quickly sending the small scraps of information he had gathered during his brief stay in the facility, such as the layout of the place, he pulled back into his body and then looked slightly startled as he found that Mercav had come out of the kitchen, and most likely had seen what had happened. Granted, since the man didn't know about Desruc's gift and what he could do, it would just seem like the boy had spaced out for a minute or so, but it still made him a little nervous.

Ana was looking around the age of twenty now. She was back on the streets and armed to the teeth. She had a face covering on. No one was allowed to see her face. Now for the kill. Her first target was nearby. It was neither Government nor Gifted. The main reason why had accepted the job so easily. She didn't get many agent calls and the Government tended to not like to hire assassins. They only hired her when they couldn't handle it.
Nym nodded as she continued to drive the car. "I'm not to sure I can repair you. Programming is one thing, but heavy repair like this is another. Do you have any of your blueprints or anything? I do not want to be shooting in the dark."

Omni looked over to her."I do, but you must realize that any information on my power source, and my...weaponry is confidential, and if it is leaked you will be placed in prison, for 3 life sentences."He said.His power source put Whym to shame, he truly was an infinite energy source.
Retto started to stir.Luckily for him the where in a car that still burnt fossil fuels, making it impossible for Omni to do a thing to him.

Nym sighed. "Your loss. I can't do anything without your plans. It is way too extensive. It would be easier to entirely reprogram you than fix you. Since your plans are confidential, it is entirely out of my hands. You are going to have to bug Supervisor Roma on this one."
