Babysitting: At the Lake with Nani ~ pt 2

Tinania keeps singing and the story moves one how the princess waited months for her prince to come to her side. But he never came to her, she had given up all her hope, until one night she heard horses. Looking over the window there she saw him, her prince.

Surion reached forward leaning towards the image trying to touch the horse curiously

Tinania smiles as the story continues on. The prince claimed his love for the Princess. Because the princess felt the same way the spell was broken. At the bottom of the tower the doorway appear. The prince jumped off the horses and ran up the stairs to be greeted by his princesses open arms.

Surion looked up at Tinania and smiled and giggled he liked the song even if he didn't understand the language

Tinania finished the story as the Prince carries the Princess off to his kingdom. Looking down at Surion she smiles "Did you like my singing?"

"Tinanana sing pretty" he told her nodding, he did indeed like it. "pretty song"

Giggling she smiles "Thank you...Sur, I'm glad you liked the song." she kisses his forehead before looking to Tari and Celia who were still sleeping. "I think they wore themselves out swimming.."

"They sleep lots" he observed leaning against her. He looked at her leg that he sat on and used a finger to draw little circles on the skin. He looked around and then got up walking out onto the sand and sitting again to play in it

Tinania watches him smiling. She shook her head sighing. "He is finding a way into your heart Nani..." she wanted to watch over him and protect him forever. Standing slowly she walked over to the sand and sat down next to him watching him play.

Surion looked up at her "Tinanana play in sand with Sur?" he asked patting his hands on the mound of sand he had created

Tinania nods then smiles "Sure I'll play in the sand with you Sur." she runs her hands though the sand making a mound herself before she grabbed a handful of water and poured it onto the sand. Slowly she started to mold it.

Surion watched her curiously then grinned getting up and running for the water to get some water for his sand, he didn't know till then adding water let him make things better

Tinania giggles and slowly she builds the sand upwards into a tower. She craves windows out of the side then looking around she grabs a leaf that was on a small twig placing it on the top.

Surion made several trips, his little hands and excitedness only had brought a few trickles of water for his sand each time. He eventually had a soppy mound of sand that had no special shape but had a 'cave' on one side

Tinania smiles watching him, she giggles then looking around she digs a moat around her tower then dug out to the lake. Slowly the water flow into her man made river then around the tower.

Surion watched it in awe "Neat neat" he said with a grin his mound had a half a dozen caves in it by the time he was done

Tinania blushes then looks to what he had made "What do you have there little Sur?" her wings fluttered a little from the wind as it blew them.

"Cliffs" he said with a grin "Dat a cave, Vina live one" he said

Tinania smiles "Ah I see, maybe one day I shall see this place and meet Vina..." she touches his nose then looks up at the sky. The sun was starting to set, looking to Surion she smiles "Come on let get the other two that way I can get you to my home so you'll be nice and warm." she leans over picking him up.

Surion smiled "Okie" he replied and wrapped an arm around hers turning his torso to watch ahead of them, "Tinanana...." he said a moment later looking at her again with a semi-worried like look

Tinania looks down at him as they reach the other girls "Yes sweetie?" Celia was already sitting up rubbing her eyes as she lifted her arms above her head.

Tari was still fast asleep on the ground.

"Sur gogo" he said quietly not sure where he'd go but that didn't change the fact he had to

Tinania eyes widen then looking around she picks up her wand. Slowly speaking in eleven she holds her wand out. Slowly out of the ground a potter potty. Walking over to it she help Surion remove his bottoms then places him on the potty.

Surion giggled "Sur knows" he told her, he simply needed it, thankfully it was something he picked up fairly quickly after the last time he'd been around her at the clinic

Tinania nods then turning to leave him alone she walks over cleaning up and packing everything. Celia pushes at Tari who groans as she wakes.

Tinania shakes her head as she finishes packing then looks to her two friend "We should head back home soon. Its getting near dark" Both Celia and Tari nod as they both stand pulling there clothes on.

Tinania glances back to where she left Surion as she pulled her clothes on.

Surion was standing pulling up his now dry but sandy trousers. he looked at her "Sur cold" he said having no top still

Tinania leaning down she grabs a blanket that wasn't used. Walking over she picks Surion up wiping his sandy trousers off before wrapping him up in the blanket with her. Turning back she head after Celia and Tari who had everything in the car.

Tari looks around "That everything?" Celia nods as she climbs into the car "Yup, lets get out of here.."

Tinania smiles climbing into the car holding Surion. Tari turns the car over then turning she heads up the dirt road heading back to Barton.

Surion smiled cuddling into the blanket and against her. he had forgotten the jeep till they got back in and was curious about it again

Reaching Barton they drove towards the other end of the town. Upon reaching the other edge of town. Tinania leans down whispering what sounded like a address into Surion ear.

Tari drove on but this times she took a road that seem to just appear heading into the forest.

Surion blinked confused and looking up at her, he had no idea what she meant

Tinania smiles, she knew he wouldn't understand it now, but just by telling him he would feel any of the spells or charms. She held him close at they reached the clearing to her home.

Climbing out she picks Surion back up before looking to Tari and Celia "You to be careful..." with a wave she turned walking up the stairs to her home. She looked at Surion before looking though her emo bag for her key.

Surion watched Celia and Tari for a moment waving as Nani walked to the door. "Tinanana house?" he asked looking up at the large house definitely larger then his home

Tinania nods as she opens the door, stepping inside she closes the door behind her. She looked around. It seem everyone was gone still. Walking over she sat Surion on the couch before walking over to light the fireplace with her wand. "Yes this is my home. But this is also Damien home. Our families live together.."

Walking back over she sits picks him up placing him back in her lap. he looked him over "Hmm we need to get you warmer clothes..."

Surion nodded listening to her "Dameen live wif Tinanana" he looked around he was interested in his surroundings it was to him different then any house he'd been in

Tinania nods "Yup Damien lives here also." she smiles as one of the house elves come walking up holding a tray of warm milk. Nodding to the house elf she smiles "Could you find some warm cloth for this young man here please?"

The house elf nods then turning heads up the stairs. Tinania turns then pulling out Surion cup she pours the warm milk that was in the second glass into his cup.

Holding the glass out to Surion she smiles "One day when your older I'll show you all of Emerald Haven.." she picks up her glass of warm milk sipping it as she held his still.

Surion took his cup and watched the curious creature over her shoulder until the elf disappeared "Who dat?" he asked curiously before taking a sip

Tinania smiles then giggles "That one of Damien's house elves, they live in the home. She really sweet..." she takes another sip then places her drink down.

The house elf comes back down the stairs holding some black sweats and a little sweater. Tinania takes then and smiles"Thank you.." the house elf turns and retreats back into the kitchen. Tinania looks to Surion "Okay lets get you into these so you'll be warm."

Surion watched the elf disappear again before turning back to her "Otay" he said putting his cup on the couch it made no mess it had a lid, he got up on the couch ready for changes

Tinania smiles pulling the sweater over his head making sure not to hurt him. Pulling his trousers off she helps him pull on the little sweat pants before picking him back up "There all better."

Surion bounced a lil once she was done happily "Warm warm warm" he giggled then got down and gave her a hug

Tinania returns the hug she lays down on the couch before picking him up to lay next to her. Placing his cup on the tray she smiles looking at the fire then Surion. "Did you have a fun day Sur?"

"Sur have fun" he nodded then yawned softly

Tinania smiles running her finger along his hair "That good...and that all that matters.." she yawns herself before looking out at the fire in the fireplace.

Surion cuddled against her and closed his eyes tiredly

Tinania smiles then looking over she waves her wand so a blanket float over then lands over both of them. She yawns then holding Surion close she watches the fire trying not to fall asleep.

A while later Ala was dialing Tinania's number now back at the house from her outing with her mate

Tinania opens her eyes rubbing them for a moment. Looking down at Surion she smiles before leaning over to grab her cell from her bag. Flipping it open she presses talk "Hello?"

"Hi Tinania, it's Ala" she said hearing her answer, she wandered around then sat

Tinania yawns then giggles "Oh hey Ms. Ala, how was your day with Torvil?" she looks down making sure Surion was still sleeping.

Surion was still fast asleep despite Tinania's movement

"Very good, much needed time together Thankyou, how was the lake?" she asked

Tinania smiles pushing her hair from her face "It was fun, I took Surion out into the water with me. He is just like you. Right now he sleeping on the couch at Emerald Haven, well we both were. I woke up hearing the phone."

Ala smiled "I think it's the Kerrsalian in him " she mused "It's a lil late should I come there to get him?" she asked

Tinania smiles "If you like, I promise my mum I would be home before she got home from work which isn't for another three hour, but after today I'm tired. So if its not to much trouble please.." she yawns again then shakes her head trying to keep her eyes open.

"That's no problem, I know how to get there" she said, she didn't know if Krista or Lenore had told her that fact or not. "You do sound tired"

Tinania eyes widen a little "Mum must have told you how to get here. And yea I am tired, Its been a long day. Just look for the extra key sitting in the jewel on the sign above the door. I'll see you in a few Ms. Ala..." hanging up the phone she looked to make sure everything of Surion was together before laying back down closing her eyes.

Ala turned off the phone and walked out of the house spreading her wings, it didn't take too long before she was landing leaving her wings unfurled and looking for the key Nani had mentioned finding it and slowly opening the door "Hello?!"

Tinania was already asleep as Ala walked into the house. The house elf that had retreated into the kitchen peek her head out looking at Ala. She smiles then points towards the couch before going back into the kitchen to finish her duties.

Ala chuckled seeing the elf and wandering into the living room she wished she had a camera just then the scene was absolutely priceless and she was going to have to tell Krista about it. She walked up beside them "Hey Nani" she said quietly placing a hand on the girl's shoulder her wings rustling a lil

Tinania yawns slowly opening her eyes, blushing she sits up straight "Hey Ms. Ala, um I see you found the place alright..." she pushed her hair from her face feeling very embarrassed to have fallen asleep even though she should have been awake.

"Aye, it's hard to miss if you know where to find it" she said with a smile "How long has lil man been asleep?"

Looking down at Surion Tinania smiles "All of an hour I believe." she yawns covering her mouth then smiles "He was such a good boy today..."

Ala smiled "I think it helps he has a babysitter who is a good influence on him" she winked

Tinania giggles then looks to Surion "No he just a great little guy all together.." she blushes then smiles.

Ala smiled "I suppose I should get him home to his own bed" she said softly moving to pick him up and noticing the clothing "I'll get these back to you guys" she said

Tinania shakes her head smiling "No worries you can kept them Ms. Ala." she leans over kissing Surion's forehead "Night little guy.." she lays back against the couch then yawns "Night Ms. Ala..." she rubs at her eyes before they slowly close on her.

"Sleep well Nani" she said collecting the rest of Surion's stuff and wrapping him in his blanket then disappearing out the door taking once again to the sky

The house elf slips back out of the kitchen. She looks around before walking over to pull the cover up over Tinania then heading to the door she locks it. Looking around then with a nod the lights go and all that is left is the fire in the fireplace before she head back into the kitchen.

Ala got her son home and tucked Surion into bed before calling it a night with her mate

Dear Diary

That was a wonderful day, I once again am glad Tinania offered to babysit to begin with.

On another note I saw the cutest scene when I went to pick Surion up from Tinania at Emerald Haven. Surion and Nani were fast asleep on the couch. It was absolutely adorable. They will make a cute couple when Surion is older.

Devin Gives Surion a 'treat'

Devin was puttering around the kitchen cupboards looking for a snack to have while he was writing, nothing sticky or messy, something easy that wouldn't drip or dirty his notebook...

Surion poked his head into the kitchen hearing the noise his mom was reading. he grinned and toddled in stopping beside the male and looking up "Hihi!"

Devin groaned in his throat and looked down. "Hi..." He said softly, his tail flicking annoyed as he went back to food hunting.

"Whatcha doin?" Surion asked

"Looking for food..." Devin said quietly as he kept looking, thankful he'd left his notebook hidden in his room.

"You hungry?" he asked "There food in dere" he pointed a the fridge but he didn't leave Devin's side

"I'm not that hungry, and I'm only looking for a snack..." The hybrid explained, wishing the child would leave him alone.

"Snack dere too, mama get dere all time" Surion informed him

Devin shook his head and tossed a small sugar laden energy bar down at the boy. "Chew on that..." He murmured, taking one for himself.

Surion picked up the item that bonked him on the head "Otay!" he said "You open?" he asked after a moment holding it up

Devin sighed and rolled his eyes, he opened it and shoved it back into the boys hands. "There..." He said, tearing his own open with his teeth, brushing the purple sweater he wore.

Surion bounced excited to try something new and started eating it

Devin chuckled and little and ate his bar as he started to head back to his room, his tail swishing.

Surion followed after him only half done but by now running circles around the hybrid

Devin sighed. "What?" He asked, looking down at the child, really wanting to just be alone, but knowing that shouting at the brat was a no-no, might make Torvil mad.... And he didn't want that. As wild as he was inside, he didn't want to be impeded in his work

"You neat Sur like you" he said in a happy nearly sing-song voice

Devin smacked his forehead. Great... Just f'in great. "That's nice..." He said, biting back a hiss as his tail thrashed a bit more annoyed

"You have a tail just like Sur have tail" he stopped in front of the hybrid swinging his own tail around before eating more of the treat the hybrid had given him

Devin nodded. "Yeah... I do..." He murmured, his orange and black tail thrashing a little less annoyed. So the kid wasn't fully human, neither was Torvil for that matter... But still, He didn't like Torvil, Torvil was... imposing somehow... He shook his head his ears going flat. "You're not going to follow me all the way to my room are you?"

Surion grinned he watched the hybrid and stuffed the last of the bar into his mouth and turned and bolted... right through the hybrid's partially open door

Devin winced and dashed in right after him. "Hey! Hey! did I say you could come in here!"

Surion giggled running around the far side of the bed and climbed up atop the bed to bounce on it

Devin smacked his forehead, thankfully his notebook was under the mattress, not that the kid could read... He moved over. "Alright... Less jumping..."

Surion didn't stop "You jump too!"

Devin shook his head. "No... I don't want to jump to... I've..." He shook his head. "Nevermind..." He sighed and flopped onto the bed.

Surion giggled and jumped over to him and sat... on him

Devin grunted and sighed. "Hi..." He said softly, wondering if it had been a mistake to feed this... animal.

Surion raan his fingers un Devin's arm "You soft, why you soft"

"Because I'm covered in fur..." He said softly shivering a little at the touch... It wasn't often he got soft touches

"Why?" Surion persisted still feeling the fur curiously

"Cause... Thats' how I was born..." He said softly.

"Why" Suion was now officially wound up as he bounced a lil ticking the fur under his fingertips

Devin groaned. "Cause... cause I just was okay!" He hissed a little, not wanting to delve into his parentage just then,.

"Why" he giggled, he didn't realize it was bugging the hybrid. but he certainly liked the feel of the fur

Devin sighed and closed his eyes. "Just cause..." "Surion..." Torvil stuck his head into the room.

Surion looked up still bouncing "DADA!!!!" he cried out happily

Devin grunted. "Surion why don't you come play with Daddy..."

"Otay!" Surion said and got up jumping to the edge of the bed and then climbing off and bolting out of the room grabbing his dad's hand on the way

Torvil smiled and ruffled his hair. Devin's eyes said the thank you he could not bring himself to utter.

"Dadadadadadadadada" Surion was excited and TRYING to pull his father with him but gave up and let go bolting out of the hall

Torvil smacked his forehead and hurried after. Devin jumped up and went about barricading his door.

Surion was running circles around his room and jumping on and off his bed by the time his father caught up

Torvil entered and chuckled. "You're crazy Surion... What did you do?"

"What Sur do?" he stopped for a nanosecond to look at his father before continuing

"You're so manic today!" He chuckled moving over and sitting down on the bed next to Surion watching him bounce.

Surion bounced over and started climbing on him

Torvil chuckled and lay down, "Grwaarr..."

Surion squealed and bounced a lil very very full of energy

Torvil chuckled and shook his head. "What has gotten into you today!" He laughed.

"Grrrrr Sur dragon" he said 'attacking' with toddler-tickles at his father's sides

Torvil laughed and squirmed as he was tickled. "Ahhh! I'm under attack!"

"Get dada get dada!!!!" he screeched doubling his efforts

Torvil laughed and with his streght slowly lifted him up. "Whoa there tiger... I don't think you should get dada..." He smirked, remembering Ala was reading. "You should get Mama.."

"MAMAMAMAMAMAMA!" he screeched and before Torvil had a chance to say anything or even look he bolted out the room

Torvil smacked his forehead, "What has gotten into that child..." He murmured getting up to attempt to save his wife...

"Torvil! What did you give him!" came the yell as Surion had started climbing all over her now

"I didn't do it!" Torvil said as he moved to try and pry his son from his wife. "He was like this when I got him from Devin's room..."

"He wasn't like this when he left this room 20 minutes ago Torvil" Ala said trying to hand him her book so it didn't get destroyed

Torvil snatched the book and tossed it on the coffee table. "Devin must have given him something cause he was like this when I snagged him from him..."

"TREAT TREAT TREAT!!!" he screeched bouncing in his mom's lap

Ala looked pointedly at Torvil "Ok since it was YOUR hybrid that did this YOU can take him to wear some of this energy off"

Torvil sighed and rolled his eyes... "Aww... But can't we get someone else to do it... I don't think I have the energy to wear him down..."

Ala stared at him "Your Hybrid, your issue, least till we try and get him to bed"

Torvil sighed. "Alright..." He murmured. "Surion... Come to dad..."

Surion jumped off his mom's lap with a THUD and ran at his dad

Torvil grabbed him and headed for the door........

Ala leaves Surion with his God Mom for a few hours

((Also known as Ala curing Dia's desire for kids with the man Ala still doesn't really like all that much))

Ala landed outside the Kazeha Village East Gate holding Surion in her arms and walked up to it

Alix greeted his mum-in-law and checked her in for the afternoon. "Have a pleasant stay, Mom."

"Thanks Alix" she said with a smile "Hi to Lene and the Kids for me" she said and hurried intot he village standing up straigther and taking a sniff of the air in search of her friend

Dia was at home that afternoon, taking a break from training for a while. It was no fun to do alone anyway. She sat on a bench in the garden reading through some parchments her mother had written for her.

Surion was pestering his mother something crazy as she hurried through the village and pushed the gate to Dia's house open and reached up ringing that bell

Dia's VERY large dogs ran down to greet the visitors. By now, they were very well trained and just gave Ala and Surion a good sniff-down, then sat and panted, watching them.

"Good dogs" Ala said giving each of them a quick pet then hurrying towards the house "Ok Dia I know you are here but where" she muttered as she got close

"Mamamamamama" Surion kept at her

"Yes Surion almost there" she said

Dia's ears twitched as she sensed someone familiar approaching. She looked up and set her parchments down on the bench and got up to go to the front of the house to see who was visiting. She rounded the corner of the building and see Ala coming up the walkway. "Ala! Hey, you brought the midget!" she joked seeing Surion.

"Yes, I brought Surion... now uhm here..." she put down his bag and then Passed him to her "I'm going nuts I NEEED a break" she said "Back after dinner have fun playing god-mom" and with that she was gone using the Nether

Dia was a bit overwhelmed at the few seconds that just lapsed. There was a kid in her arms suddenly. "Damnit, I need to learn to do that too." she grumbled under her breath, referring to using the Nether. She looked at Surion and kinda just stared..."Uhm...hi?"

"Aunty Dia!" Surion said and with a pointy-tooth smile and wet lips planted a kiss on her cheek

Dia smiled and chuckled softly. "Hi Midget..er...Surion." She kissed his cheek back and set him down on the grass. "So uhh...how are you, little guy?" she said, trying to sound uber friendly.

"Sur not a midget" he said and put his fists on his hips looking up at her "What you doing?"

Dia laughed. "My, my ...okay, Shorty. I was learning." she chuckled. "Wanna come around back with me?" she asked, holding her hand out to him.

"Back? Otay!" he said but rather then taking her hand he took off round the building

Dia followed him around back figuring there wasn't too much he could get into. After all, Dimona had put Dia's old swing set and sandbox back up, being hopeful and all since the wedding. Dia figured he might want to play on them.

Surion however didn't go after the toys right away, he was more interested in the pile of parchment and by the time Dia got to the back he had most of it scattered arounf his feet on the grass and the final sheet upside-down in his hand pretending to read a 'story'

Dia's face faulted when she seen what he'd gotten in to. "lovely" she muttered and rushed over to Surion. "Those are not toys." she said bending over to pick up the parchments from the ground. She knelt beside him as he pretended to read. "Pretty good story, huh?" she chuckled.

"Yeah good story" he said and poked at the paper "Dragon" he said poking a small hole in the page before eying the rest of the parchment and then looking at his feet "More Story!"

Dia reached for the parchment to try and slip it out of Surion's hands. "More story? uhm... Shorty, these aren't good stories...they are uhm...they are instructions....uhm...boring stories, yeah...these are no fun." she chuckled trying to think of something to distract him.

"Story! Sur!" he called out and turned to run across the grass taking the parchment with him only to drop it 4 feet away once he spotted the sand pile

Dia laughed, "Sir?" she mumbled shaking her ahead. "Aye, Sir." She scooped up the parchments when she reached it as she headed after Surion.

Surion climbed intot he sandbox and started to push the sand around into a large pile in the middle before looking around the yard, he apparently had a target object he was looking for but didn't make it obvious

Dia took a squat in the grass close by the sandbox and just watched him play and push the sand around....wondering why Ala was in such a hurry.

Surion jumped up and ran across the yard in the direction of the house seeing what he wanted... a hose... he turned the water on and drug it back with him... not that he had good control over it and the water went in all directions. he grinned he didn't care he just wanted to wet the sand, he didn't care what... or who got wet in the process which included himself

Dia watched Surion dart across the yard and grab the hose and she couldn't help but laugh as the hose kinda flailed everywhere as he ran to the sandbox with it. She maintained her sitting position, yeah, getting a bit wet, but not minding, as there's nothing wrong with water.

Surion nearly flooded the sandbox before pushing the still-running hose out of the box he tromped through it making one hell of a mess of him and everything around him before sitting down in the sandy 'muddy' water digging in the side of the tall pile of sand he had made

Dia just laughed at Surion. At least he looked like he was having fun. She crawled over to the edge of the sandbox, "Wow, this looks like loads of fun!" she said in an excited tone.

Surion looked around having forgotten she was there, seeing her and hearing her words he grinned a pointy-toothed grin and scooped some mucky sand and before she could stop him stood and planted it on her head "Aunty Dia Mountain!" he burst out into giggles

Dia's face faulted again, but she just chuckled, and got a very playful grin on her face too. She reached into the muddy water and pulled out a nice big heaping handful. "But Surion is a bigger mountain!" she laughed and slopped the sandmud onto his head.

Surion blinkedand shook his head fast sending that sand flying "AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh" he cried out "Gogo!" he jumped up and took off towards the house again and into it leaving a nice sandy mess in his wake

It took a minute to register what just happened. Crap this kid is fast...She shook the sand off her own head and sprinted after him as fast as she could. Making a mess inside was a whole new ball game. "Surion!" she called after him as she headed into the house.

There was sandy footbrints down the hall and into a few o the rooms almost like a feather as it had been obvious he had been looking for something

Dia ran to the downstairs restroom to see if the foot prints led to it. "Whew" she sighed seeing he found his destination without tooo much disaster.

Surion was inside singing.. he didn't exactly hold a tune as he did though

Dia crossed her arms and leaned against the wall next to the door, waiting for him to finish.

Surion pushed open the door a few minutes later and slipped past Dia running deeper into the house and up the stairs

Dia reached out to try and catch him, but damn...he's quick. She went to run after him, and caught a glimpse of the bathroom and just stopped and slumped over, staring..."Crikey...."

The bathroom was a MESS of sand, and water the water was in fact still running. there was sand on everything, the counters, the floor, the towels even the 1/2 unrolled roll of toilet paper had sand all over it, it was obvious he had played with anything in arms reach as he went to the bathroom

Dia went in and shut the water off and backed out of the bathroom...blinking and staring in disbelief. As soon as she was back in the hallway, it clicked that the midget had run upstairs. "Crap! I hope bedrooms are locked" she mumbled as she darted upstairs following the sand trail.

Most were.... save one... one with pink interior and a sandy trail leaning into it. Opening the door would reveal a short blue-haired boy jumping on the bed and singing at the top of his lungs

"Should have known" Dia mumbled as she headed for her own room. She pushed the door open and seen Surion bouncing on her bed. Out of the corner of her mind she spotted her kunia and shurikens on the floor by her practice dummy and she dived for them and scooped them up quickly, and counted.

Surion hadn't gotten into her training and shinobi tools, but he held a stuffed animal in his hands as he jumped her bed becoming more messed and sandy with every jump

Dia tossed the weapons into the bathroom and slammed the door shut, locking it. She sighed relief that they were all accounted for and the only thing he was playing with was a stuffed animal. She leaned against the door watching him. "Shorty, lets go play outside!" she said, trying to sound excited.

He stopped and blinked "Aunty Dia show Sur dragon?!?" he asked her

Dia crooked her head a bit at his question. "Oh! Kouryou! You want to see him? He misses you!" She said standing up straight again, thinking this might work to her advantage.

"Sur want to see!" he nodded lots and jumped off the bed heading out the room and into the hall and down it... hauling the stuffed animal with him

Dia ran to her wardrobe and pulled out a black strap and then darted after him. "Surion, we can see him outside!" she hollered after him.

"out side outsie outside!" he crided bolting down the stairs around the front room a lap and then pulled at the front door to open it

"Damn...that kid's wired." she murmured as she followed him outside. "Surion! come'er! if you want to see the little dragon!"

Surion turned and dropped the stuffie right where he was and bolted back towards her "DDDRRAAAGGGONNNN" he cried

"You have to wear the special Dragon Belt!" Dia told him as she held up the black strap she'd brought down with her. "Not only does it make you look uber handsome, but the dragon's love it!" she told him as she reached to try to put it on him.

Surion blinked looking down at the belt she was trying to put around him "Dragon has belt?" he asked

Dia chuckled, "Yup, they really like when people wear Dragon Belts" she answered him with a slight chuckle in her tone as she fastened the belt good and secure around his waist. There was a single metal hoop on the side of the belt. "You ready to see Kouryou? He'll think you look dashing in your Dragon Belt"

"Otay" he said still staring at the belt

Dia pulled her old tatty scroll from her hip pouch and performed the summoning, calling Kouryou to her. The little blue rain dragon appeared in a puff as the scroll disappeared. He'd grown a bit since the last time Surion had seen him. He was about the size of a house cat now. And quite a bit sturdier.

"Dragon!" Surion cried happily reaching towards the little dragon

Kouryou flapped his little wings fast like a humming bird and when he heard the child's voice he turned and looked. He recognized the boy right away and zipped over to him. Dia watched cautiously, not sure how they'd react to each other, considering they were roughly the same age, maturity wise.

Surion squatted patted the little dragon's head "dragon dragon" he said pointing a little finger at it

Kouryou snaked his long serpentine tail towards Surion, slowly wrapping it around his little finger. Kouryou's scales were perpetually covered with a thin layer of rain water, making him shine, and feel almost slimey to the touch.

Surion giggled "Dragon Tickle Sur" he said wiggling around

Kouryou smiled the way little dragon's smile and slithered his tail a little more around Surion's hand. Wrapping around people's hands was still a habit the young dragon had.

It was about now Surion wanted to give the dragon a hug and his free arm moved quickly to try and do that

Kouryou wasn't sure what the young boy was going to do so he moved forward, closer to him. He blinked his little eyes and gave Surion's cheek a little lick and then he felt Surion's arm wrap around him.

Surion giggled and bounced spinning in a circle "Sur made cliffs!" he told the dragon then turned to bolt towards the sandbox Kouryou still held in a hug

Kouryou went along for the ride, not really sensing imminent danger in the young boy. "Crap" Dia muttered again and darted after Surion. If anything happened to Kouryou, she was toast...quite literally as she knew his father would burn her to a crispy critter.

Surion however wasn't about to hurt a dragon, he was after all more then half dragonic himself. getting tot he sandbox he plopped down and let go of the little dragon and said "Cliffs!" and pointed to the sagging mound that was full of holes

Kouryou looked into the box and flitted his little wings rapidly. He dove down to the mound of soggy sand and presses his little front claws in, making prints. Dia caught up and seen the two in the sandbox and bent over putting her hands on her knees and panted. Damn quick little sucker...

Surion giggled " Sand, it fun" he told the dragon

Kouryou smiled and started patting the sand too. The little dragon's never really had a chance to 'play' before and he was having fun. Dia caught her breath finally and watched the two, staying standing, just in case she had to dart after him again.

For once Surion stayed in one place for a while, the entire time he played he was talking to the dragon, it didn't seem to phase him whether Kouryou could understand him or not

Dia kept alert watching him, not wanting to be fooled or let her guard down again. kouryou sure seemed to be having fun. He did understand when people talked to him, and he seemed to be nodding and agreeing with Surion a few times as he listened and played with the young boy.

Surion looked over his shoulder at his god-mom and turned "Sur hungry" he told her, indeed it was getting close to dinner

"What's Sur like to eat?" Dia asked, not sure what toddlers ate. "Kouryou, you hungry too?" she asked the little dragon. He nodded his little head rapidly.

"Meat" he said plainly and moved to stand up once again absolutely coated in sand "meat be red" he said he jumped out of the box heading for the house leaving Kouryou to stay or follow it didn't matter to him

Kouryou flitted up into the air and shook rapidly, shaking all the sand from his body and then followed his new best friend inside. "Red meat? well...at least I won't have to prepare 2 different things for them." Dia chuckled as she followed them inside. "Surion, the table's over there, I'll get some food for you if you can sit at the table. You too Kouryou"

Surion trailed the sand across the kitchen and climbed up onto a chair bouncing on it only succeeding in shaking more sand loose

"Mum's going to kill me" Dia muttered as she pulled the meat from the fridge that was actually set aside for Kouryou and Ryohan, he other dragon companion. She diced a bit of it and brought it out to the hungry dragons at the table, as Kouryou had mimicked Surion and took a seat of his own. Dia smirked seeing the little dragon...he wasn't usually fed at the table like this. She placed the plates in front of them, "Eat up"

Surion grinned "Fankyoo Auty Deeuu" he said with a full mouth a moment later

Dia chuckled and bowed her head a bit. "Welcome Sir." She stood, leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed, keeping her eyes on them as they ate. Kouryou devoured his little meat chunks.

The bell out front rang and Surion looked up from the meat curious

Dia looked up curious who was visiting as well. "Someone's visiting." she said to Surion. Kouryou paid no heed to the sound as he munched his dinner.

Surion nodded and returned to finishing his meat

A knock sounded at the door a short time after

"Surion, wait here, I'm going to see who that is." Dia told him as she headed for the front door, pulling it open.

Ala stood there looking to say the least a lil less frazzled and rather.... content and glowing slightly

Dia peered at Ala and smirked. "Have fun, did ya?"

Ala nodded "Yeah... and you?" she asked looking past her seeing the ton of sand

Dia just shook her head and chuckled, "sure...tons...yer midget's eating." she motioned for the dining room.

Ala chuckled and wandered in towards the kitchen "We appreciate it" she told her friend as she got there

Surion grinned "MAMA!"

Kouryou got up and wagged his little body excited when he heard Surion shout 'Mama' as if his mama had come into the room. Dia followed Ala into the dining room.

"Well now I see Surion has a friend to play with.... as well as having fun in your home" she smirked lightly towards her friend

Surion hopped down and was soon wrapped around one of his mom's legs

Dia smirked, "Yeah...the place is caked in sand." she mentioned as she moved further into the room, reaching her hand out to Kouryou, who didn't want anything to do with her at the moment, was too busy trying to mimic Surion. "Yer kid bonded with him." she chuckled, referring to the baby dragon.

Ala laughed "I can see this, Well least you found a way to keep him occupied should I need to do this again"

Dia laughed, "If you need to do this again, warning would be nice." she chuckled.

"Hey I don't have warning if my kid is gonna be spun up" she laughed

Dia peered at her through narrowed eyes. "I see how you are now." she joked. "Dump him on people when he's wound up so you can go frolicking with Torvil."

"Dia, he's been like this since yesterday when he spent time with Devin... " she said "Wait till you have kids... you'll understand"

"Who's Devin? And thank you very much, but you've cured all desire for me to create spawn." Dia chuckled.

"A creature Torvil adopted" Ala said with a nod

"Fun....what wound him up?" Dia asked, curious now.

"I'm thinking something he ate" she mused

Dia laughed, "And here I was going to load him up on sugar tarts before handing him back over to ya."

Ala swatted Dia and then scooped Surion back up "Well I should get him hom he needs a bath I can see" she smirked and glanced out the window "Are you trying to create a lake out there?" she asked

Dia rubbed her arm and snatched Kouryou out of the air before he decided he was leaving too. "me? no...Surion was I think." she chuckled, "Ala...it was nice to see him, it had been a while. He's getting bigger. Take care of yourself and hopefully, I'll see you soon." she said as she glanced outside, and face faulted, forgetting the hose was on still.

Ala chuckled "Ok on all accounts, I think he might wanna see his lil dragony friend anyways" she said and headed for the front door retrieving Surion's bag "Say goodbye Sur" she said

"Byebye Aunty Dia!" Surion waved

Dia chuckled, tigthening her hold on Kouryou as Ala and Surion headed out. "Bye-bye, Shorty" she nodded, as she couldn't wave easily. "Have a fun trip home."

Ala took to the ai r outside Dia's house and disappeared

Dia chuckled and let go of Kouryou, recited the incantation to send him home. He poofed and her matty scroll returned. She put it back in her hip pouch and went to cleaning up all that sand .... I didn't need to use the belt...that's a good at least.

Antidia's Thoughts

Dear Raoul,

So last night was ...

Oops, wrong journal. ^_^;

Dear uhm, Other Journal,

So today while reading over the notes my mother made for me on shapeshifting, I heard the front gate bells, went to see who was visiting...blinked...and suddenly had a toddler in my arms.

Sure it was fun at first, making a mess with him and all...but I didn't know he had like, super speed and the urge to track the sand EVERYWHERE INDOORS. Oh well, its just sand.

He remembered my dragon companion, Kouryou from when he was a baby, to my surprise, so I summoned him. They bonded like you wouldn't believe. I think Kouryou wanted to go home with Surion and Ala.

I fed them and then Ala showed up. Twas an interesting afternoon to say the least. But at least I got to see my Godson and spend a little time with him. That made me happy...even if it did take hours to clean the sand after he left.

Sur looses a tooth

A shriek and a cry came from Surion's room and a blue-haired streak zipped past the kitchen "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Torvil jumped with a start, which in turn toppled the current tech project he was working on... A gaming system of some kind. He looked up. "What's the matter Surion?" He asked, picking up the parts that had been scattered.

Surion stopped in front of him tears falling down his face "Dada you fix pweaasee?!!??" he held out his little hand and opened it, a tooth sat upon it's palm

Torvil stared for a moment. His first reaction was fear... He held that down for a moment as he slowly picked up the tooth form Surion's palm. "Surion... What have you been chewing on?"

"Nuffing, Sur playing" he whimpered staring up at his father, he opened his mouth and pointed, to a space on the top front

Torvil nodded and slowly tried to fight the rising panic... His kind didn't lose teeth... They were born with what they had..." He grimaced softly and sighed. "I think... This is something we'll have to talk to your mother about..." He said softly, offering a hand to Surion.

"Otay dada" he said sniffling and taking his father's hand

Torvil smiled and brushed his hair with the hand that held the tooth for a moment, before walking in search of Ala.

Surion followed clinging to his father's hand his other hand wiping across his face

Ala was laying on their bed reading

Torvil stuck his head in. "Love... Surion... Surion lost a tooth..." He tired to keep the panic from coming out in his voice... Failing horribly.

Surion clung to his father's hand and leg

Ala glanced up," he did huh, wondered when or if that would happen"

Torvil nearly face faulted. "What?!" He looked almost shocked. "But Torvin, Lene, and Vina never lost a tooth!"

"Well Vina isn't Kerrsalian, and the twins I think they had more of your genetics in then my original genetics, after all look how quickly they grew up, they had adult teeth cause they needed them, Surion seems to have following for the Kerrsalian genes, I really won't be surprised if he picks up more skills when the time comes for manifestation then the twins too" Ala said and sat up

Surion stared at his mom sniffling

Torvil slowly calmed down and nodded. "Yeah... I guess you're right... So... What do we do?" He asked softly, still a little, well, worried.

"Nothing..." Ala said simply smiling at her son

"Sur want dada fix" he whimpered clinging tighter

Torvil slowly pried Surion off and knelt down. "Surion, as much as Dada wants to fix it, there are some things Dada can't fix..." He softly patted his son's cheek. "I think this means that you're getting to be a big boy now... Granted you already are, but I think this means you're now an even bigger big boy..." He smiled softly. "I'm going to talk to your mother about what we're going to do about this tooth... So, until we're done..." He kissed the top of Surion's forehead. "Why don't you go run and play with your Dragons okay? I'll be right there..."

Surion stared at him for a moment before slowly nodding and turning to walk down the hall towards his room

Torvil stood and slid into his room with Ala, and shut the door behind him. "So... What do we do... With the tooth I mean..."

"Nothing, it can be kept as a memento, or thrown out, there's nothing else to do with it" Ala said leaning on her pillow again

Torvil nodded. "So... no ritual? No special little play act like I've read about in books?" He asked softly.

"Play act? what do you mean?" she quirked a brow at this

Torvil kicked at the floor a little. "Well... I was reading... about this fairy... of teeth? No... A Tooth Fairy..." He said softly.

Ala blinked "You can do it if you want... but I don't believe in that myth" she said honestly

Torvil nodded. "Well..." He blushed a little. "I think it would be kinda cute..." He looked at the tooth. "But I don't know..." He said softly. "I think that it really is a strange ritual... Because... Well... There isn't one..."

"I know" Ala said nodding "I kinda figured that out as a kid, a rather young kid"

Torvil nodded slowly and sighed, leaning against the wall. He tossed the tooth from hand to hand. "Well..." He sighed. "It comes down to this... Allow our son to have a little fun and some gold in trade for his tooth..." He tossed the tooth into his other hand. "Oh, not touch the subject at all, keep the tooth as a keepsake, and move about our business..."

"We can give him gold without trying to convince him there's a fairy who comes into his room to take the tooth from him" Ala said tapping the cover of her book

Torvil nodded. "That too is true, and it would also minimize the trauma to his innocence if/when he finds out..." He said softly, looking at the tooth in his hand with a soft smile. "This is a big event isn't it... I mean, in the scheme of things... It's rather small... But to me... This is proof that our little boy is growin..."

"Growing quickly, I kinda hope once he's older Krista and Mine's prediction turns true" she nodded and turned back to her book

Torvil chuckled. "You mean about him and Tinania?" He chuckled softly, holding up the tooth once more into the light. "Yeah... I think I could live with that..." He chuckled softly and shook his head. "Yeah... I could live with that..." A happy smile now graced his lips,.

Ala nodded "Same, even if I have to play matchmaker with Krista" she said quietly and continued reading

Torvil nodded his head, and eyed her for a moment. "Good book?" He asked softly with a smile, slowly pocketing the tooth, and moving over towards the bed, where his horde was hidden.

"Just the one Kal gave me, I'm determined to at least learn how to welcome her child into this world in Kerrsalian if nothing else" Ala told him

Torvil nodded and slowly pulled the board lose, grabbing a shiny gold coin. He smiled and slipped it in his pocket. "Well I'll leave you to your studies... Till later..." He chuckled softly, slowly standing up. "Tho, if it's not too much trouble, can I get a kiss?"

Ala nodded and looked up with a soft smile "Of course"

Torvil smiled and leaned down for his kiss, purring softly.

Ala returned the kiss contently breaking it slowly and looking up at him for a moment before returning to her book

Torvil smiled and gave her hair a single soft kiss before her hurried out the door to Surion's room.

Surion sat on his bed playing with a dragon waiting for his father

Torvil entered the room and walked over to his bed, he sat down and brushed his son's hair. "Hey..." He smiled.

"Dada fix?" he asked looking up at him

Torvil shook his head. "Dada can't fix...." He said softly, and reached into his pocket and pulled out the tooth and the gold piece. "But he will give you a gold for the tooth... What do you say?"

Surion's eyes lit upon the gold and a grin spread on his face "Otay!"

Torvil smiled and held it out to him. "Go put it with your other shinnies..." He chuckled softly. "If you have any..." He smiled, slowly sliding the tooth back into his pocket.

Surion nodded and ran across the room and squeezed behind the toy box with the gold, when he came back out he grinned and ran over to his father "Sur give dada shinies too!" he said and held his hand towards his father wanting to drop it into his father's hand

Torvil smiled and opened his hand, chuckling. "Sounds like a trade..." He chuckled softly.

Surion smiled widely and dropped it into his father's hand, it was a bolt.. with a washer

Torvil stared at it for a moment, noting that it was a bolt to the engine block of the car. He sighed softly and looked at Surion, unable to be mad at the child. Instead he smiled, actually quite happy, because now he finally knew where they had gone. The car was now running, and he was happy about that. He pocketed the bolt and washer, and kissed his son's forehead.

Surion giggled and hugged his father

Torvil had a plan for the tooth and the bolt, he smiled and hugged Surion. "So my little man... What are you up to now?"

"Sur play" he said grabbing his dragon again

Torvil smiled and scooted over. "What Sur going to play?" He chuckled softly.

Surion shrugged "'owbout tickle dada!" he said and then pounced

Torvil laughed and grabbed his son in a tight grip. "Oooo I don't think so..." He chuckled, tossing his son softly on the bed, and started tickling him instead.

Surion shrieked happily trying to return the favor of the tickles

Torvil laughed and slowly stopped tickling his son, giving him a chance to pounce again.

Surion didn't hesitate wanting to get his dada as he pounced

Torvil laughed and fell back with the pounce, letting his son get some tickles in.

Surion giggled lots enjoying ticking his father

Torvil laughed, slowly starting to laugh so hard he was crying. That was the point he lifted Surion up off him. "Okay, okay, you win!"

Surion looked down at him his tail moving happily back and forth "Dada fun" he said

Torvil smiled and slowly put Surion down. "Yeah... I think so too..." He chuckled and brushed his son's hair.

Surion cuddled with his father resting

Torvil smiled and looked down at his son. "I love you Surion..." He said softly.

"Sur love Dada too" he said giving off a yawn

Torvil smiled and kissed his son's head, starting to hum a dragon lullaby.

Surion smiled happily and fell asleep

Torvil smiled and kissed his forehead, laying there. He closed his own eyes, and hugged him tight, falling asleep himself.

Torvil's Journal

Dear Journal,

Bunch has stuff has happened so I'll make this as brief as I can for now... For one, Surion lost a tooth... Gah! I thought I was going to die! We don't lose our teeth unless we've been chewing or biting something rather rough, and then well... They grow back... Eventually... But still! Oi, to think he could naturally lose one... It boggles the mind... On another note, Devin, a tiger Hybrid I took on for a friend, has pretty much tried to avoid us and Surion. He did fail in that respect once, which resulted in a rather horrid couple of days... Gah... Well at anyrate, just a tooth and a wound up Surion, more to report later I'll bet...

Surion Goes for Babysitting While Ala prepares for Cliffs Trip

Ala hummed pulling the cell from Surion's bag and glancing at him playing before dialing Tinania's number and wandering into the kitchen

Tinania was just slipping out of the shower when she heard the cell phone ring. Arching her brow she walked over picking it up. Glancing at she smiles flipping it up "Hey Ms. Ala."

"Hi Tinania, how's it going?" Ala asked dropping a few dishes into a sink full of hot water as she spoke

Tinania smiles looking though her clothes pulling out a red top then a pair of faded jeans "I'm good Ms. Ala, just came back from exploring it the woods." she wasn't going to admit that her wings changed and that she came across some fairies from when she was a baby.

"Sounds like you are having a good day then. Interested in babysitting lil Sur?" Ala asked turning and leaning back against the counter

Tinania smirks "Always Ms. Ala, but could you bring him here, I promise mum I stay on the estate today. She didn't want me going into town for some reason..." pulling a brush though her wet blond hair she steps out onto her balcony.

"Yeah, I could" she said musing to herself "Got something else to bring to you anyways... When's a good time?" she asked

Tinania arches a brow "Something else to bring me? Should I be scared?" she giggles then smiles again "Right now if you like, all I'm doing is waiting for my hair to dry.."

Ala laughed "Well it's not something to be scared of" she said with a chuckle "Ok we'll be there in a while then"

Tinania smiles nodding "Okay I will see you in a bit then...talk to you later Ms. Ala" she hangs up her phone then pulls her brush though her long hair one more time "Hmm I wonder what Ms. Ala bringing?" shrugging she walks back into her room as she pulls her hair up into a ponytail.

"Ok Surion lets go" Ala said "And you too Melinda" she called out of the open front door, she gathered everything in a big cloth bag and gave the headphones to Surion who promptly put them on giggling and trying to dance. "Silly boy" she said scooping her son up. Her wings unfolded and she headed out the front door "Ok this is going to be tricky she mused then figured out the right way to carry Melinda and scooped her up too "Thank Visha Tinania doesn't live all that far away by air" she mused as she set off with her cargo

Tinania walks down stair into the kitchen she smiles waving to the house elves as she pours herself some water. Turning she walks out of the kitchen then heads to the door. She stepped outside and sat there on the steps sipping her drink watching the sky for Ms. Ala.

Ala's silhouette against the sun was a rather odd shape as it approached clinging son and the squirming Audio

Arching a brow she stood watching Ms. Ala "okay what in the goddess does she have with her?" she waves to them stepping down the step.

Ala set down "Ok I couldn't wave too well carrying all this" she laughed and put Melinda down and then Surion "Phew!"

Surion grinned "Tinanana!!" he cried hurrying towards her

Tinania scoops Surion up into her arms and kisses his cheek "Hey sweetie, being good for mommy?" she giggles then looks at Ms. Ala "Okay so what is all this?" she leans over little to pet the animal called Melinda.

"Gifts" Ala said with a laugh "Melinda" she pointed to the Audio "the headphones Sur has are Melinda's kids, one of them anyways. And I have a couple eggs here too" she gave a look that said 'hope that's okay'

Surion nodded "Sur good for mama, and dada, and Tinanana"

Tinania giggles then wrinkles her nose at Surion before her eyes widen looking at Ms. Ala "Gifts? Gifts for what? I mean its not my birthday, not for awhile at least..."

"Gifts to say Thankyou for taking care of Surion whenever we need a babysitter" she chuckled

Surion giggled pulling off the headphones showing them to Nani "Giftie!"

Tinania blushes taking the headphones from Sur then looks down "Aww thank you, but really you didn't have to.." she looks at Melinda, she loved the colors of the little girl.

"We know, but we like to anyways" Ala said pulling the eggs out "This one is a Balan, I think he'll be rather cute.." she mused then looked at the darker one "I'm sure you can guess what this one is" she smiled

Surion giggled happily "Tinanana like giftie!" he bounced lightly in her arm

Tinania looks at the blue egg smiling "Aww how pretty that egg is so cute" she nods looking at the other egg gasping "Is that another Pae'il? Kaelin just hatched earlier today. I was so surprised, she so small and cute." she looks at the Pae'il egg then arches a brow "Different wings.." she moves her light blue wings, then pokes Sur in the nose.

"This one is a Faery Pae" she said at the comment regarding the wings.

Surion giggled "Sur poked" he leaned forward and wrapped his little arms around Tinania's shoulders giving her a hug

Tinania smiles hugging Surion close "Ah I thought the wings looked familiar...Such pretty wings, unlike mine right now...." she turns alittle to show her wings, they were different shades of blue, and looked like they had been shredded.

Ala glanced at them and chuckled "Changes are good, perhaps one day Sur will go through the one change he may get as a teen, or older... well I should really get moving I'll be back later to pick up the squirt" she said with a smile passing Tinania the eggs

Tinania smiles taking the egg "okay Ms. Ala take care, and have fun..." she looks at all the new familiar, man was her mother going to be in shock.

Ala smiled and a moment later *poof* was gone

Surion watched his mom disappear and covered his eyes "Sur hide" he said with a grin

Tinania smiles looking at Sur "Okay we will play once we get all these wonderful gifts into my house. You wanna help me out sweetie?" she kisses his nose then places him down on the ground so he could walk.

"Otay" Surion said uncovering his eyes obviously not going anywhere like his mom had. he reached taking the handle of his bag and started to pull it dragging it across the grass towards Tinania's house

Tinania giggles then walks over picking up the bag then holds the headphone out to him "How about you take this sweetie?" she bends down picking up the Balan egg then looks to Melinda "Come on girl..." Melinda follows after Tinania as she opens her door to allow Surion to step though.

Surion promptly put the headphones on again listening to the music constantly seeming to play and dancing a little before hurrying up the stairs into the house

Tinania giggles as she steps into the house. Melinda instantly went for the couch and jump up to lay down. She sat both eggs on the couch then places the bag on the side table. She glances over at Surion smiling "Sur likes dancing? Hmm when your older like me I'll have to take you with me."

"Sur dancing, Tinanana dance too?" he asked looking up at her before pushing the headphones off his head and holding them up to her

Tinania smiles taking the headphone "Yea I dance..." she places the headphones next to the sleeping Melinda then kneels down in front of Sur "Hey sweetie you wanna learn a easy way to say my name?" she pokes belly then smiles pushing her hair from her face.

"Tinanana have nother name?" Surion asked her curiously his tail moving happily behind him reflecting his curious attitude

Tinania nods before moving to sit in a sitting position "Yup I was given the name by my big brother when he was young, he couldn't same my name right. Its Nani, can you say Nani?" she smiles poking his belly again.

Surion giggled putting his hand where she had poked him then thought for a moment "Na-ni... Nani.... naninaninaninani" he grinned excitedly

Tinania smiles nodding "I think you got it sweetie..." she holds out her arms for him to sit in her lap if he wanted to.

Surion grinned happily accepting her invitation and sitting in her lap his tail curled around his side and leg

Tinania smiles then runs her hand though his hair "From now on, you can call me Nani." she holds him close as she stood slowly heading towards the kitchen.

"Otay Nani" Surion said happily cuddling into her arms as she moved

Tinania smiles as she open the fridge, pulling out a bottle of milk she pour some into a clean glass that was on the counter before holding it out to him "Want some milk sweetie?"

Surion looked at the white liquid curiously, he sniffed at it "Otay" he said taking it from her still looking down into the glass as he drank some of it

Tinania smiles as she pours herself a glass "Its called milk, its really good for your body..." she walked over to the couch taking a seat on the couch "If you were old enough I would give you some coffee, that good stuff...." she takes another sip leaning back looking at him.

Surion followed her slowly not wanting to spill the drink Nani had given him "Coffee good?" this made him curious, he'd not heard of it before

Tinania smiles as she picks him up placing him next to her on the couch "Yes coffee is very good. Maybe when your a kid I'll ask your mum if I can let you try some.." she takes another sip of the milk before placing it on the side table. "So sweetie what do you want to do today?"

Surion looked up at Tinania "Play!" he exclaimed happily, he always liked the games she played with him

Tinania smiles then pokes his nose "Okay sweetie what do you want to play?" she tilts her head then wrinkles her nose at him.

Surion giggled when she poked his nose and tried to poke her nose back "Sur not know" he told her giggling

Tinania laughs when he does hit her nose lightly. She tilts her head then smiles "How about the tickle monster?"

Surion giggled "Nani get Sur!" he said climbing off her lap and taking off running

Tinania laughs letting him run ahead of her before she stand slowly, Pushing her hair over her shoulder she walks after Surion. "I'm gonna get you little guy.."

"Nooooo" he squealed happily running in big circles around the room and into the hall and back

Tinania giggles watching him, she waited until the right moment.

Surion tried to slip between her legs to get past her when she was in the doorway to he hall giggling lots

Tinania smiles then reaching down she catches Sur around the waist lifting him up then tickles him "Tickle Monster!!!"

Surion squealed and giggled squirming in her grasp as she tickled him

Tinania places him back down on the ground then giggles "The tickle monster got you Sur."

Surion giggled and reached for Nani's leg and gave her his own tickle "ticktick!"

Tinania giggles then steps away from him "Oh no the tickle monster gonna get me!!" she turns quickly walking away from him.

Surion giggled following after her "Gonna get gonna get tick tick" he said wiggling the fingers of both hands towards her as if tickling

Tinania giggles then pretends to hide behind the couch "No not the tickle monster!!" she smiles.

Surion giggled and peeked his head around the corner of the couch "Gonna get gonna get!"

Tinania laughs moving slowly backwards "Oh no what am I going to do?"

Surion came around the corner of the couch holding his hands out wiggling his fingers "Rawr! Tick monter gonna get Nani! Rawr!"

Tinania giggles shaking her head "No the tickle monster won't get me.." she wrinkles her nose then moves backward away from him.

"Rawr!" he said again and moved a lil faster ready to pounce Nani when he got close enough to tickle her

Tinania looks around then looks at him "Oh no I'm trapped!!" she giggles trying to hide her face. "The tickle monster gonna get me!!"

Surion giggled and pounced her landing in her lap and going after her bellybutton with his tickling fingers

Nani laughs trying to get away "No!!!" she lays back on the ground laughing.

Surion giggled toppling atop of her "Sur tick monter get Nani!" he said happily

Tinania giggling nodding "Yup Sur got Nani."

Surion reached up and poked her nose "Sur get 'gain?" he asked her giggling

Tinania smiles nodding then pokes his nose "Yup Sur got Nani again.." she lays back down smiling up at him. "Okay that was fun."

Surion's tail moved happily in the air behind him and he cuddled close to Nani "Sur have fun too" he told her

Tinania smiles and holds him "Good that was the point. Your here to have fun Sur..." she sits up pushing her hair from her face "Okay now what?"

Surion tapped his chin with one finger a rather cute thoughtful look on his face as he thought about the 'now what'

Tinania wished she had a camera, that look was so priceless. She giggles watching the little guy decide what to do next.

"Out?" he asked pointing at the window with the same finger that had been tapping his chin a moment earlier

Tinania smiles then nods "Okay we'll go outside to play then sweetie." she stand holding him in her arms. She picked up her cell phone off the side table then walked to the door opening it walking outside.

Once outside she closing the door then places Surion down on the grass. "Okay sweetie, outside just like you asked."

This thrilled Surion to no end and he took off across the grass exploring the area looking for anything new he'd not seen before of which there was an abundance

Tinania smiles looking back at the house then towards the forest. She knew that everyone at Guardian Village and Centaur Village were working.

She followed after Surion letting him play and explore, but kept very close just in case.

Surion often stopped for anything interesting this included bugs and neat rocks most of which he showed Nani

Tinania smiles looking at each item him picked up "Very pretty Surion."

He eventually spots some flowers and heads after them fully intending to pull at least one up, "Flower!"

Tinania laughs follow after him "Yup we have alot of flowers around this area..." she walks over to a tree taking a sit under in to hide in the shade, close to the flowers and where Surion was heading.

Surion giggled and soon had a half dozen in his hand and was running towards her carrying the flowers, roots and all in front of him

Tinania laughs watching him "Oh Sur, you didn't have to pick them all hun." she watched the little one run towards her. Yes she admit this was cute.

Surion stopped a couple feet in front of her and holds them out to her "Flower! pretty!"

Tinania smiles taking the flower "Yes the flowers are very pretty. Thank you Sur" she leans in and kisses his cheek.

Surion giggled Handing her all of them and then happy, he did what the headphones he kept listening to had made a playful habit of late.. he danced

Tinania smiles smelling the flower closing her eyes. She like all fairies love the smell of flowers. Opening her eyes she giggles watching Surion "You really like to dance don't you Sur?"

Surion looked at her "Sur Dance!, like Auror" indeed he was dancing so his bottom end went from side to side

Tinania giggles then smiles "And who is Auror?"

Surion stopped he wasn't sure how to explain that one "Mel lotta color, Auror green" he said and pretended to be holding the headphones to his ears

Tinania smiles "Oh Auror like Melinda, okay I understand. He must be very pretty." she watches him pretending to carry headphone.

"Auror got scale" Surion said giggling and dancing again "Nani dance?"

Tinania nods then smiles "Yea Nani dances, when she out with friend and there is music.. can't dance to well without the music.."

Surion pouted "Nani dance?" he said looking at he holding the tip of his tail

Tinania smiles then pokes his nose "I promise another time okay sweetie. I really can't dance without music..."

"Nani sing music" he said quietly stopping and watching her

Tinania bites her bottom lip then remember a dance she saw Pielle do while she was following the fairies. Placing the flowers down she closes her eyes singing softly in Elven.

She glided gracefully into each move, twirling her hands moving slowly around her, her hair hiding her face alittle and she continue to dance and sing. She didn't know where is was coming from but as she moved she became intuned with nature around her. Her wings started giving off a subtle glowing.

Surion grinned and giggled clapping his hands and dancing with her in his own way once again

Tinania continued to dance unaware that a few fairies were watching them both. They were whispering and giggling. Two of them were the fairies from when she was a baby.

Surion stopped and sniffed "New smells" he said and giggled before dancing again looking around as he danced

Tinania stopped when she heard Surion's words. She looked around seeing all the fairies. Then the two she knew already. She arched a brow then winces when her wings start to burn once more.

Pielle frowns shaking her head looking to the other "Her wings are growing to slow. She has to meet the queen soon..."

Surion stopped looking up at Nani "Nani ok?"

Nani winces again going to her knees looking at the fairies "What do you mean the fairy queen? Pielle tell me what's going on.." she looks at the fairy pain on her face. She looks to Surion nodding to him hoping not to scare him "I'm okay sweetie.."

Pielle frowns "She the only one who can stop these pains, if not there only going to get worse Little Sprite.."

Tinania eyes widen then she winces again closing her eyes. "But I can't find this place you told me to look for..."

Pielle frowns "You know the way, you just have to believe in yourself.." all the fairies turned as if hearing something. They all looked back at Tinania worry on each of there faces before flying off.

Surion watched the two leave a finger in his mouth and looks back towards Nani, he doesn't like the look on her face, the look of pain

Tinania breathed slowly, the burning went on for another few minutes before it fully stopped. She was shaking badly as she opened her eyes looking at the grass. So it was her fairy side now that she had to deal with, as if life didn't get any more strange.

Looking up she smiles alittle at Surion "Hey sweetie, it's okay. I'm okay now..." she holds a shaking hand out to him.

"Nani owies" he whimpered moving closer to her his free hand taking hers

Tinania shakes her head "Oh no sweetie, its just something I have to deal with. I'm fine really, so please don't be sad.." she pulls him into her lap hugging him, she was still shaking but not as nearly as bad as before.

Surion cuddles against her feeling her shakings but sitting quietly "Nani owies" he repeats softly

Tinania smiles then kisses his forehead "Its okay Sur, I'll be okay sweetie..." she runs her hand though his hair feeling bad that he had to see that.

Surion looked up at her a look of sadness and curiosity in his ok "Nani be ok?"

Tinania smiles nodding "Yes I'll be okay sweetie, I've been dealing with this for awhile now. I just wish you didn't have to see that.." she holds him close closing her eyes.

"Otay" Surion replied after a few minutes and cuddled her to try to make her happy again

Tinania smiles and runs her finger through his hair before opening her eyes "Okay now what does Surion want to do?"

"Sur not know" he said looking up at her playing with the tip of his tail at the same time

Tinania smiles "I got an idea, how about we just sit here under the tree and relax? Does that sound okay?" she pokes his nose lightly.

Surion nodded "Otay, Sur sit Nani" he said and giggled at his poke

Tinania smiles then leans back against the tree holding Surion in her lap.

Surion leans against him and cuddles close, he glances in the direction the two faeries went looking into the forest from where he sat

Tinania smiles watching him then looks out toward the forest "I've been told by many of the elves who live within this forest that there is a special place for the fairies. Because I'm part fairy I have to go there and meet the Queen. But I haven't found it yet." she pauses looking down at him with a smiles "The one fairy that was Pielle, she was from my childhood, she in a way trying to help me.."

Surion nodded slowly not quite understanding it all but it didn't matter to him. he looked up at her "Nani find" he said with a nod

Tinania nods smiling "I will, and soon. It seems I'm at the right age for a fairies final wings to show, but being not all fairy its taking longer, so the pain.."

Surion nodded cuddling against her again he looked at his hands for a minute before looking towards the forest for a mere moment "Nani find"

Tinania nods then smiles "Yes I will..."

Ala appeared as suddenly as she had left earlier that day and in the same place, and started wandering towards the house unaware her son and Tinania were outside

Sur closed his eyes and cuddled against her contently

Tinania smiles closing her eyes, she runs her hand slowly over his back humming softly.

Ala's ears p***k hearing the humming and smile seeing the pair and heads their direction "Helloo" she called

Surion looked up "Mama!" he replies and waves a hand

Tinania opens her eyes hearing Ms. Ala, smiling she nods "Hey Ms. Ala, did you get everything you needed to done?" she looks a Surion smiling then back up to Ms. Ala

"More or less, had to get a few supplies that we're gonna need soon" she said with a nod stopping a few feet away

Surion smiles and climbs out of Nani's lap and moves to his mom "Nani owie" he told her it was still prominent on his mind

Ala looked at her son and quirked a brow and looked at Tinania "Everything ok Tinania?" she asks

Tinania blushes then nods "Yea, just been dealing with these wings, it seems there trying to take on there final form, but my body is not yet ready for it. So once in awhile they start burning. Nothing bad, I'm use to it.."

"That's not great feeling I'm sure" she mused picking Surion up "You're sure it's ok though" she said she tended not to heal unless the person wanted these days

Surion leaned against her watching Nani happily

Tinania nods smiling "Yea its just something I have to deal with until I find this fairy Queen I have been told about. No worries, I'll be okay. I've been though worse then just burning wings.." she stands slowly then lifts her hands above her head.

"All right then, well I should get Surion home for dinner and then bed, Thanks again for watching him, and enjoy all your new friends" she chuckled softly

Tinania smiles then nods then winks at Surion "Have fun little guy and when you have a chance ask your mum to play tickle monster with you.."

Surion giggled "Rawr!" he replied to that

Ala laughed "Ok, till next time Tinania" she said her wings unfolding and she took to the sky heading homewards

Tinania waves to them and once she was sure they were out of sight she looks back towards the forest. She have to start on her journal first thing tonight.

Turning she head back to her house, she had to gather her items and get ready.

Dear Diary

Well I got a bunch of stuff done today, including giving Tinania her gifts, she seemed kinda surprised about them. Well thats ok I hope she enjoys their company. The trip is coming fast I hope Surion doesn't miss this place too much, after all we are kinda 'roughing' it a bit, theres going to be nothing there any where near as high tech as where we are now.

Tinania's wings are causing her pain, I know what thats like, I certainly hope she really is ok. I kinda been tending not to heal someone unless they want it.

So far, so good! The trip is looming up on me, and I know I'm gonna have to put down my project to go do it. Which is fine, I'm rather excited and looking forward to a stay at the cliffs, a lot has happened there lately so I've heard, so I guess I'll have to see what it's all about...

Off to the cliffs to learn about heritage

Ala walked through the house with the last of the necessities "Are we almost ready to go?" she called out to her husband

Torvil looked about his bags shoving a few last minute no tech items in there. "Yeah! Just gotta make sure I don't have anything modern..."

"Nothing, make sure we have claw, make sure we have our cliff garb, bring absolutely anything you think we might need that is not going to cause a stir." she said and shut the cell phone off that she carried and dropped it onto the beside table "That cave is just really a single suite should we look into a bigger one since Surion is older now?, after all who knows he may even grow while we're there and a boy does need his alone time at times... and so do we"

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah, we'll look..." He nodded, double checking and tossing out a few things that got back in, he made sure he had all their claw. If need be, he could always work and get them more.

Ala nodded and left the room to help Surion who she KNEW she'd have to take stuff out of his bag from

Torvil soon joined her once he was suuuure, there was nothing in there that would cause any sort of stir, in fact, in the Toybag for Surion, he intended to pack the spears and swords his grandmum had gotten him... He was about that age...

Ala was nearly done and had his clothing gathered up a couple stuffed dragons she was sure wouldn't cause a stir and already had half of his play swords in the bag

Surion stood watching her holding his blanket

Torvil smiled when he looked in the bag. "You read my mind..." He said softly to his wife as he tossed two spears in as well, one Torvil sized, the other Surion sized... And one medium one just in case he grew, he double checked the swords as well.

"I think that's it" she said folding the flap over the top of the bag

Torvil nodded. "Yeah...All we have to do now is get there... Nether or Fly?" He asked.

"We have all this stuff and Surion to take, what you think would be easier?" Ala asked glancing at her son

Torvil tapped his chin. "One of us take the stuff, the other Surion Via the nether... would be faster... And less drag..."

Ala nodded "Well you are the stronger of us, and I seem to have rather good control of the Nether, I might as well take Sur"

Torvil nodded. "Yeah... Go on ahead... I'll catch up..." He smiled, starting to gather up all the bags.

"All right son we're going to play a game ok?" Ala said picking her on and his blanket up

"A gamme?" Surion asked curiously

"Yes, you have to see if you can keep hidden till we get to the cliffs ok?" Ala said moving to lift the blanket over him

"Otay!" Surion said and clung to the blanket after it went over his head

Ala smiled and blew a kiss to her mate and poofed out

Torvil wasn't far behind her, having had all the bags rather close by, but he had caught her kiss, and he planted on his lips before he nether jumped to the other side, then once more to the Cliffs, right in front of their cave. He slowly started to walk in.

"Good boy, mama will get you a treat" Ala was saying to Surion as she pulled the blanket off his head and he giggled

Torvil smiled and dropped the bags near the shelves that were made to have clothes. "I'm proud of you Surion, good job at that game..." He smiled.

Surion giggled and grinned before running off to explore the cave

Torvil smiled and started to unpack, putting Surion's toys near the 'toy' alcove.

Ala smiled "Should be interesting month or so, I really do want him to have a good grasp of the ways of his heritage"

Torvil nodded. "And I think I could use a refresher as well... It's been a long while..." He chuckled.

Ala laughed "Yeah it has hasn't it. I'm going to have to learn a lil more while I'm here too"

Torvil smiled and moved to her, pulling her into a kiss and purring. "Yeah... But it'll be fun..." He chuckled, scanning the room for Surion.

Surion was splashing water in the spring in their bathroom while sitting on it's edge

Torvil chuckled softly but kept a good eye on him anyway, love of water or no... He still watched his child like a hawk at the cliffs.

Surion looked over his shoulder at his father "Dad play wif Sur?" he asked

Torvil smiled and walked over. "Sure Sur..." He chuckled softly, walking over, having not brought his shoes at all.

Surion grinned and splashed his father with water from the spring soon a he was within range

Torvil laughed softly and chuckled. "Cute!" He laughed, moving to sit by Surion, even as he was splashed.

Surion laughed and turned "Dada like water too?" he asked him curiously

Torvil smiled. "He likes it... Not as much as you and your mom do... But then..." Torvil reached out and held his hand above it even as his feet went in. "Dad... Can't control water like mommy can..." He smiled. "His gem does different things..."

Surion blinked "Otay" he said with a happy grin and returned to splashing the water in the spring happily

Torvil chuckled and kicked his feet a little, looking over to Ala to see what she was doing.

Ala was puttering around putting away everything they brought and making sure they had food making note of what food they needed

Surion leaned further over the water trying to catch his father's feet

Torvil's head snapped towards him and he smiled, lifting them for him so he wouldn't fall in.

Surion giggled and promptly tickled his father's feet as soon as he could reach them

Torvil laughed softly and smiled, watching his son as he played.

Surion yawned, it was about that time again... nap time

Torvil smiled and pulled himself up from the pools edge, reaching and picking up Surion with a chuckled. "Do you know what I see..."

"What dada see?" Surion asked

"I see a dragon that needs to do the long sleep, so he can change..." He chuckled, nuzzling his son, and tickling his belly.

"Long sleep? change?" Surion didn't quite get that

Torvil chuckled and moved to the pallet. "Sometimes... We sleep for a looooooooooong time..." Torvil chuckled. "And when we wake up something about us is different..." He chuckled softly, kissing his son's nose.

Surion nodded slowly "Uhm... otay..." he said

Torvil chuckled and smirked. "I'll explain it again when you're older..." He smiled. "But first... A nap..."

"Otay dada" Surion said with a yawn and cuddled against him

Torvil smiled and lay down on the Pallet with Surion, not expecting to fall asleep, but he did want to hold his son while he did... You never know when they grow...

Surion took little time to fall asleep

Torvil too, fell asleep, as having the small child up close to him was soothing and calming.

Dear Diary

Well here we are back at hte cliffs again journal... I'm hoping with this trip Surion will not only grow to his child age but also learn about his heritage and go on his first hunt. It's going to be intersting we've never stayed at hte cliffs this long, I dont expect to be here any less then a month maybe longer, depends how long it takes Surion to become a child, parental instinct says it's soon,.... we'll see

Torvil's Journal

Dear Journal,

Well Journal, I have to say, it's good to be back... I've really kinda missed the cliffs since our last visit, and it's nice to see everything is running well. I like that we're staying here for a long period, it gives me some time to recoperate. I'm hoping to work on some more tech projects when I get home, I hope Surion will enjoy them as much as I will. I got a Game Station of some sort or other in the mail the other day in fact, and kinda put that project on hold... I need a soddering iron... Oh well, that's not the point of this entry and I'll go into it later. At anyrate, it's good to be here, and I hope that Surion learns a lot about his heritage here... I hope maybe one day he can learn about his mother's side as well... What's left of it anyway...
