Listen to music, sleep, or write messages on paper and hold them up to the window at the back of the bus for the people driving behind us to read. Hehe.

Haha, my girlfriends and I like to poke fun at the guys in our grade. They can be really dorky, so we just laugh at them and they get annoyed at us. The guys tend to play poker/gamble a lot, sometimes we talk about where we're going. Ummm...other things we've done include watching movies since we get a charter bus, singing songs until our BD gets mad and yells at us, and passing someone's folder around to annoy them. We also eat a lot...we're hungry band geeks. Oh yeah, and sleeping. I tried to take pics once too....mildly successful.

My bus rides are always ever so much fun.
On the way to Toronto we watched Canadian Bacon ::snickers:: and for other bus rides we watch stuff like Airplane and Robin Hood Men in Tights. We also do the Hand Check thing, and this is how ours always goes
Random annoying person: HAND CHECK!!!!
Me: Give me a minute!! (Or Just a Minute)
Person next to me: Yeah! Give us a minute!
Band Director: Jacqui...BLANK... stop it now!
Its always funny cause it always shocks the newbies into marching band or high school band =D (And its all fun..nothing happens like we say)
We also play the ABC game, Rainbow Tunnel Game (PM for more info on that) and sing to random songs.

Our favorite thing is singing really corny songs from Albino Black Sheep. All time leading favorite is...

We also have a fair amount of food going back and forth. We did have soccer once. We all got the instruments from under our seats and kicked the soccer ball back and forth until the bus driver was like stressed lol

Most of the time I did my friends hare, shes in coclr guard and could not do her own hair or makup. every once and a while we'd have our little low brass section together and we'd sing Tequilla or Low rider.

Talking, swapping CD's, making fun of the movies, or racing busses =D That's SO much fun! if your band has more than one bus, and y'all are all going at the same place a tthe same time, you should try this. Like, on the highway, we were in last place, because we left the school last. Well, we got in the other lane, and passed all of the other busses. While passing, we made... uncomplimentary hand signarls to them, and we were in first. Then, they started to try to get in first. Anyway, it was REALLY fun =D

most of the time on the band bus, any of our eight busses , come one would randomly start singging Shwifity-Five(its a cartoon on albino black sheep, and one of the pressicouns stands songs sounds like it) but we self bleep out parts stressed

On my bus we usually play video games and such, steal each other's handhelds and alla that. But on one trip I accidentally got put on the senior bus. They spent the entire time singing incredibly off-key, mostly the Mortal Kombat theme and some variation of "[Competing school] sucks balls, (clap clap clapclapclap)." And some people were making hemp bracelets. 'Twas odd.
