“Okay but at least let me give you one push onto the bank.” She said giving him just one push so it would be easier for him. “I’ll go find some more herbs too.” She said walking out of the water and heading back into the trees. A few minutes later she came out into the clearing carrying another pile of the leaves she put on Nereus a while ago

 Nereus shivered in wonder as he felt the rocky ground beneath Ona with his tail. He had been so close to passing out, back there, it was dangerous- too much for his current state. He'd have to be more careful from now on.
As Kamea approached, he flinched, but forced a small, gentle smile, the nostalgic, soft touch of her paw on his cheek sending tears to his eyes. It really was the same Kamea, wasn't it? That he had met the day before, that had made his heart jump for some strange reason...
"Th-thanks, Kamea, but you two should just go back and keep playing. I just need a bit of time to recover..." his voice shook as he said it, his mind still on the lost memories and times of this new almost-stranger. Staring uncertainly into her eyes, he nearly forgot to thank Ona as he scrabbled the rest of the way up the bank and graciously accepted the herbs.
Tilting his head toward the water, he smiled thankfully at Ona, his voice assuring,
"Thanks for taking care of me, Ona, but I'm fine now, really... it was just a dizzy spell. You two should go back into the water."

Kamea shrugged and left him to rest, with a warning, "Just rest there. No big movements." She smiled brightly and took off into the air, spritely flying about to burn off the energy she built up be worried for Nereus, and it washed away her worries as well. She smiled and flew quickly right over the water and stopped suddenly mid-air, tucked in and let herself cannonball in to the water.

Ona quickly put the herbs on his arm correctly and laid don next to him acting tired.
‘I’m a bit tired so I’m just going lay down right here till I’m ready to go back to play.” She told Nereus before turning towards Kamea. She really didn’t want to leave Kamea to play by herself but with Nereus in the state he is in she made a decision it was best to watch over him even if he didn’t want her too.
