Lightpaw released her grip hesitantly as she found the beast had stopped running and was a limp heap on the grounf. She had a pain on her back and could feel a few cuts on her legs but nothing too serious. She was thankful. She staggered a few steps toward Lightface and Minxpaw, dizzy, from the wild ride but kept looking over her shoulder to make sure the animal hadn't moved. When she reached Minxpaw she looked her over and met Lightface's eyes that questioned whether she would be alright. She could smell the all too familiar rat scent too now and knew they would have to leave in a hurry.

Lightface whispered, "I...I don't know all of her injuries..." She bent over Minxpaw, and pulled her by the scruff. "Never mind, Hawkpaw. I can lift her." She expected her to be a lot heavier, as she hurriedly tried to run to camp.

Hawkpaw ran next to Lightface making sure that she could handle Minxpaw.

Lightface nodded to Mnxpaw, "I can get her back easily. She's not very heavy." She could run faster now, but dragged Minxpaw on the ground a lilttle. "I think we're almost there..." She could see WindClan camp!

((I believe I'll remained immobilized until everyone posts at least one. Not much a bloody lump of flesh do but complain. I was planning to make Minxpaw bite Lightface... But I'll just leave it. I'm quite satisfied with the damage today. biggrin ))

(( Thank you. Lightface has enough to do. What is it, everyone but the med.cat and her apprentice is injured? The ones on the dog's back must've been, too. You're injured, Smallstar had his paw injured, the others were on the dog's back. Ugh...)

Dragoneyes followed behind slowly, limping slightly. When they finally reached the camp, she immediately plopped down on the ground, her wound bleeding slowly. It wasn't horrible however, and so she waited for Lghtface to finish with the others, especially Minxpaw.

Lightface sighed. "Dragoneyes, Lightpaw, Smallstar get into my den. Your injuries are less than Minxpaw, but, they still need to be treated. Hawkpaw, can you please make sure there aren't any serious injuries, and put some cobweb on open wounds? I-I'll have to get some more tomorrow. There's barely any left." She turned to Minxpaw, and dragged her into her den. "Okay, Minxpaw." She began to put on more herbs, until she sighed, and looked at Hawkpaw. "I've put on any herbs that helped stop wounds, broken bones, or infections. I'll make her go easy on the poppy seeds, though. When she wakes up, she can have one or two for pain." Lightface checked the others. "Smallstar, you hurt your paw a little...but nothing that won't heal completly." She glanced at Dragoneyes. "You just have a slight problem with your paw, but also nothing serioues."
(One of the reasons I nostly RP medicine cats. I stink at RP battling.)

Hawkpaw grabbed some cobwebs and placed them on the cats' open wounds. After checking to make sure that none of the other cats were seriously injured Hawkpaw went to check on Minxpaw.

Lightface glanced at Hawkpaw. "Hawkpaw, can you please just keep an eye on Minxpaw? Please come and find me if she wakes up." She hurried over to Dragoneyes. "Let me just put some Burdock root, just in case for infection..or if any of the rats bit you while we were retreating back to camp." She sighed. "StarClan help us if any Clan attacks now. Everybody got hurt, except for me and Hawkpaw."

Lightpaw was grateful that she got away from the battle with such few injuries.
She could feel an open sore on her back but it had stopped bleeding no and was only slightly stinging. Other than that she had a few cuts on her legs but also nothing serious or deep. She was sure she wouldn't even need any poppy
seeds. For now she wanted all the attention to go to Minxpaw and the others. They needed it more than her. After she was looked over by Hawkpaw she walked a few paces out of the way to lick her small wounds.

Lightface spoke sharply, "Lightpaw! Stay where you are! You don't have as serioues injuries, but stay. You need a bit of burdock root too. And maybe some wound healing herbs." She was always a bit more sharp-tongued when she was stressed or rushed. She bent back over Minxpaw, and gave her a soft lick on the ear. She ran over to Lightpaw, and mewed, "Your injuries are probaly the least, but, you should still have a poppy seed." She pushed a little black seed in fornt of her.

Lightpaw was surprised when she heard her name called so sharply. She looked up immediately with questioning eyes. When Hawkpaw came over to her she was still a little confused. But she picked up the tiny black seed without a word and looked up thankfully and repectfully at the medicine cat apprentice with bright green eyes. "Is there anything I can do to help you Hawkpaw?" She asked.
