"Heh, no s*** shurlock." Slash said in a "boy do I know it" sort of sarcastic chuckle. "Those bastards have been giv'n me and my sister h*** since we left, and I'm sure they'll keep going until we drop dead." He listened as Super spoke about not seeing him before, and Slash gave a chuckle. "I'm sure you wouldn't have. I've been working for G.U.N. since I was about 12 or so, and I was kind of a slack a** Never met any of the extreme higher ups, just sorta hung out in the labs." He scratched his head with a cocky, yet nervous toothy smile.

Slash turned to Sickle as he said one of the boots blew up on his foot. "F*** that was you?" Slash blurted out in a mild shock. "Those dickheads, they told me that it blew off someone's f***ing foot! I spent days on the next pair those f**ing, a**holic, peices of-"
"Ok Slash, we get it." Lea said sternly. She looked at Sickle who seemed to be a bit dejected after putting into the conversation, and decided to continue. "It's no suprise though. Half the stuff he makes likes to blow up. Robots, grenade casses, nach-"
"For the love of God would you stop bringing that up." Slash growled. "How the h** was I supposed to know that supid thing wouldn't be compadible with those extra parts I had."
"They were for a fricken jetpack." Slash turned his head away, which only made Lea chuckle.

Kairi turned to Sickle, tilting her head slightly. The look on her face showed that she recognized that maybe she should be afraid of someone who could deal with a rocket blowing up on his foot so casually, but her curiosity out weighed her fear. Her big blue eyes focused on his face before she asked, "So, are you a cyborg? Or a genetic experiment?"
Haden looked like he wanted to slap her but couldn't because she was a girl. "Kairi, there's no such thing and that's not very nice to ask."

Sickle turned to Slash. "Nach.... Nachos? Exploding nachos?" He asked aloud, unsure. Super stared, unsure of what the hell to say to that. Then, the voice of the lemming shot out and asked about cyborgs or genetic experiments. He turned to Haden sharply. "Hey, there, I am such a thing." He crossed his arms. "G.U.N.'s been trying to make genetically altered creatures for years, peh, I'm the only one that survived experimentation." He said proudly. A mantle he would regret having in later years.

Super turned to Slash while Sickle spoke to the lemming and fox. "Hence why this guy here is what I like to call G.U.N.'s numuro uno most wanted." He explained. "Still, good to see other people aren't taking G.U.N.'s crap anymore. And smart guys, too. Say, why don't you show me some of the stuff your working on. A guy who makes rocket boots just doesn't stop inventing. Perhaps I could help you, and hey, maybe you could help me." He said amiably.

Lea's eyes seemed to flutter slightly at the black wolf's sudden proud proclimation that he was a genetic experiment. No wonder he had easily recognized her scent and such, his own abilities were probably ten fold of any other wolves.

Slash seemed to not respond to Sickle's talking about his exploding nacho fiasco, it had been a seriously embaricing experience. He then gave a smile while crossing his arms slightly. "Sure, that sound cool. I was actually working on something for Moonshock over there when all this happened, I think the sketch for it is still on the dinning room floor. You'll have to excuse the giant whole in the wall too." He said with a chuckle, and then looked over to Thanos who was still with the hedgehog. He didn't trust the hedgehog and wasn't sure if he'd like to stick around while it was raining and crap, though it didn't bother him much.

Lea looked at Sickle for a moment, and seemed to have a small image in her mind. Something about when she was a trainee, she'd remembered getting lost and wandering around in the reserch labs... She saw something in the window of one of the labs, like a sticker. Lea was very young so she couldn't read all of it, but it looked like "Popsickle." Eventually she'd been found by Dunnel himself, who had actually picked her up and carried her back. But when leaving down the hallway, she thought she saw something that looked like a small black figure sitting on a table. Could it be that he was what she had seen, that he was being experimented on and she could have helped him or something?

Suddenly Lea was brought back to reality when Slash tapped her shoulder and whispered into her ear, "Keep an eye on that brown hedgehog, make sure he doesn't do anything worse to Thanos." She nodded and watched as Slash went back over and got his boots, and then started to hover toward the side of the building.
"Being a fast as h*** hedgehog I imagine you want to run down into there?"

Kairi's emotions got even more mixed at the wolf's statement. She looked excited and eager to say something, but at the same time very sad... and a little angry too. "I'm the only one left from where I'm from. Not England... or well, any of the other places I've been. I mean where I was born. Everyone else is gone."

"Sure, why not?" Super said, stretching his legs a moment. Getting some distance, he went to run up the side of the building, when he turned a sharp left and dashed right into the stairs and up the stairs. He ran around the building until he made it to the one room that had it's door wide open for some reason or another. As expected, Slash had flown right through the hole that was created earlier. Super shrugged as he walked in, "Nice place. I woulda ran up the wall again, but it started raining and I wouldn't have the same grip as earlier." He explained as he looked around at all the gadgets. He walked among them a moment before stating immaturely, "Dude, like... goldmine!" He picked one up and inspected it carefully. "Taking a wild guess... EMP."

Slash closed one eye and gave a toothy grin. "You know it. I got all kinds of choice stuff in here, but alot of reject s*** too. I mean, look at this." He held up an old robot part, only it had been worn, used, soddered three times, and then thrown out. "Alot of em are savigable, but they use up so much d*** space. What I need to make is some kinda god***ed container to hold all this, but it not be huge as h***." He looked over and found the picture that he had made for Sparky, brushed some debris off it, and handed it to Super. Suprisingly he kept walking after he handed it off, and started to look for something. "It's just a rough sketch, but I have enough supplies to make it I think. It's not military statue quoe, but it should be enough to help her out-ah." He found what he was looking for, which was an old ragidy controler looking thing, which he shot at the door. A familiar blue beam came from it, only it didn't make a bubble but made a bluish coating over the open gash in the wall. "My first prototype, d*** thing could only on flat surfaces. It keeps the water out though."

Super smirked at the point where he got the device right. When Slash through the old bot down, he looked it over from afar, but was soon handed the sheet for a wolf named Sparky, apparently. Something struck him odd about that name, but left it alone. As he looked it over, he nodded. "I actually was working on something like this, but I lacked the parts... If I'm right, your trying to make a device that harnesses electricity. But this sketch has no output. Anything like that will explode over time. Can you hand me a pencil?" Super asked, completely ignoring the fact he had one behind his ear, apparently it had been there the entire day. In fact, Super had picked it up at the mystic's shop. Super still had that Emerald on him, too. When Super remembered the pencil, he muttered a never mind and made a few more sketches and notes on there, adding a bit of versatility, a random note in one area, and handed it back to Slash. "Here. I added some stuff that will make that into an accessory of sorts, kind of like a bracelet attached to a glove. What you have there is genius, but right here is a place to focus the energy into a usable form by attaching these to some nerve endings. This allows the stored electricity to be used offensively, like a lightning bolt from fingertips." He said, circling the bracelet and connectors. It was amazing he was able to figure this out, considering he never met the girl and somehow it seemed he knew that she could make electricity in her body, like some sixth sense.

((I'm sorry for the rest of this week, especially with all the fun I've been having with these latley. D: ))

Slash looked over the paper and found immediatley what Super had meant. It would have probably caused her more injury than anything else if Sparky had worn his invention. He nodded aprovingly and chuckle. "Hot d***, you are good at this! What rank did you say you were at in G.U.N.? Cuz I sure as h*** can tell you'd whip my a** at this, at least in the fine tuning aspect." He was almost itching to start working on this, but he didn't just want to mentaly ditch Super. He tended to block stuff out when he was working, and he didn't want to be rude to the guy that just saved his perverbial a**.

"Eh, Let's just say that if Brass didn't take over, I'd be third in command." He said, scratching the back of his head. His old friend Olin was commander before Brass, and if it wasn't for the spotlight in war, Brass would of never been promoted like he was. When Olin died mysteriously one night and Brass stated he'd be taking over, Super had grown suspicious, as Brass wasn't even rightly in line for the top. He stated in his first speech that the man who did retired. Quite suddenly, Super found out later. With G.U.N. latent with treachery and a new anti-animal mind-set, it didn't take the hedgehog agent long before he left. And, in one way of putting it, ran into Sickle on his way out. "Anyway, Slash, if you want to get started on that, I'd be glad to help out." Super said, pulling otu a small tool from his pocket. It was a nifty little gadget he normally had on him. It had a bulky handle, but for good reason. Battery powered with one of Super's own type of battery power(he had help in making it with his level-headed friend who kept Super cooled when the blasted thing kept exploding), and it had numerous switches on it that changed the head, from drill bit, screwdriver, even had a detachable end which showed attachments for a Hammer. "This, my friend, is a multi-purpose tool. Think the utility belt of Batman, made with tools and men in mind, and rolled up into a small, singular device that fit in your pocket. Took me a year to get it to work right. Funny thing about crossed-wires or two wires that aren't supposed to touch..." He stopped a moment, merely for effect. "They explode." He showed off a small scar on the side of his right quill.

Upon closer inspection, one could see many things afflicting Super's physique. Cuts and scrapes could be seen on some parts of his body where new fur was growing, there was a chunk missing from one of his ears, he had a strange mark in between his eyes, and his arms looked more scathed then anything else on his body, but most of the wounds looked old, and it was doubtful that Slash would notice much of them.

((Update update! The sketch I did of Sparky's armor is on DA, so you can see it up close if you like! biggrin ))

Slash gave a nod, silently remembering the horrible rejime(sp?) Super was talking about. "Yeah...my poor sister was pratically a fricken prisoner of war from when those bastards started abusing animals......" He gave a cough before picking up the paper and scanning it's contents, even though he'd already gone over it a dozen times in his head. "Kick-a** tool man, it should come in handy." With that Slash got up and started scrounging for the parts he needed in the piles of stuff, found a few things and threw a few things aside. After getting a nice pile, Slash plopped himself on the floor and grabbed a couple of his tools in each hand. "Let's get started." He said, his tail wagging.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 18, 2008 9:10 pm

Super looked over a bunch of the materials and picked out what he knew needed to be done first. He grabbed the EMP from earlier and looked at it for a moment. An EMP wasn't too hard to make, horribly expensive at times, but not hard. He didn't ask, but he disassembled the thing pretty quickly and grabbed a few parts that went into it right out of it and got to work on the bracelet. Midway through, he knew he would need to make two bracelets, so he took the rest of the things he might need from the EMP and various other things that Slash told him was 'junk', especially the robot, where he found much of what he wanted to find. "Everything has a purpose." He noted, and soon grabbed a long piece of semi-flexible material that was used in the old robot that connected the wires from the head of it to the main core. placing the workings he had from the EMP and other gadgets, he worked on it and placed it in sections. This process took a half an hour or quick work with the tool, while Slash worked on the main body areas. Super slid it over to Slash. "Check it out. This material I pulled from your robot over there is tough, but flexible. I have some material from my lab back home that would go great as a covering for this. It's difficult to cut or damage, and should prove as an effective armor for this." He explained. "The only thing I need for the glove part of this is a small device that basically changes how the EMP works slightly, and instead of negating and corrupting the electricity, it merely negates excess electricity. It won't be able to negate it all, but it will put a lot of it to good use." He said, standing up to stretch. He examined Slash's work, waiting for Slash to critique his own and for Slash to boast about his part in it.

((lol, ker-splode. It's cool that you're making art for an RP. There is still something I need to scan that will be showing up in Resistance.))

It had been a while sense since Llyr had seen each other, they needed some catching up. They had gone back to the tavern, where Thanos had noticed something out of the ordinary, he had asked what was with the bike on the roof, Llyr replied with something like he had to travel light, but now, he had no more means of transportation, except his own two feet. Llyr would briefly take off the augmentation device. And show him is baby, the final copy of the bike looked completely different from the now scrap metal that was rusting on the roof top. Thanos was in marvel, he hadn't know how extensive that the Techie Hedgehog had gotten the past two years. Llyr motioned for Thanos to quickly go up to his room, tomorrow they had to figure out what was happening, whether they where going to stay here in Station Square and look for apartments, or keep moving. It wasn't that they couldn't sleep, it was the fact that they could quit talking long enough for the other to actually get a wink of sleep. Thanos was appalled that Llyr would try to get him to go his home town, it wasn't his place to he did belong there, but he was quick to pick up that there was something Llyr wasn't telling him. His parents were "pasting through" but it was the way Llyr had sad it the made him sad, his parents were dead now, they had been had fatal heart attacks one year after the other. There showing was going be tomorrow at noon, and Thanos was reluctant to go, but not only was Thanos in the will, but according to Llyr he was also enhariting quite a bit of money from them, and just maybe some answers to burning questions, that he needed answers to, Thanos looked at Llyr with a glare, and then said he'd go, but he didn't have anything formal to wear, but of course Llyr had things covered, he had brought some cash from his "place of living" but if what Llyr was traveling as much as Thanos, then he wouldn't have a "place of living" Thanos chuckled. And asked where he stole it from, it wasn't a big deal. The beds were soft, and the T.V. was still on, and then Thanos was asleep almost instantly.

Llyr had grabbed all of there possessions from the roof and left the bike up there, it didn't have anything important, hell they could have it for all he care, the green hedgehog could have a field day with it for all he cared, if infact he could crack the lock down code. That was the big thing, it was a eight hundred digt DNA encrypted code. The one on the model he has now was four times as sensitive and five times as long. It would take him an hour to get it done. But that didn't matter, he had his brother back, and that is all that mattered.

"Are you done? Can we go?" Haden asked Kairi, sounding very sarcastic. "You see, everyone is better and back to doing what ever it is they do, you got to ride rocket shoes, everythings good. Now let's go find a hotel and get out of this rain before we both catch colds."
The lemming's shoulders slumped, "But I wanted to hang ouuuuuuut." She whined but followed the fox, dragging her feet slightly. "There goes my chances of a fun vacation..."

Sickle spoke up between them. "If I may ask, you talked about Sonic the Hedgehog earlier, correct?" He asked, even though his memory served that was true. "I might as well tell you that he isn't in town at the time. Last I heard the news said he was last seen 'cross the world, in Asia. Apparently he went on vacation as well. Not like you had much chance to see him anyway, he's never in the area, and when he is, you only get glimpes at the famous Blue Streak." Sickle informed, basically telling the poor girl her idol was closer to her then before she left. "But if it's a vacation spot you are looking for, Twinkle Park is where it's at. They got rides there, great food, and a five star hotel." He stopped a moment and beckoned them to follow him under the eaves, out of the rain. "I hear they are running a special for couples for Valentines Day. Perhaps you two could go, even if you aren't a couple, you can lie and fake it." He turned to Haden for the next part, "Your little friend here has big enough eyes to get anyone to melt, so it wouldn't be hard arguing your case." He explained.
