Talos ran a hand through his hair and looked gravely back toward the rest of his party letting out a barely noticeable wink and returned toward the demon his face awash in uneasiness. "You see, there is a second little matter your malevolence might wish to answer with his mighty wisdom. Another demon lord had swept through and took most of the peasantry and villagers belongings. A dark and cruel fellow this one was for we passed many corpses of goblins strung up along the mountain trail. Terrible terrible things to be sure. The trials of slaying a demon of that magnitude would be great and as adventurers we could make the attempt for you, but I'm afraid we have very little in the way of defense perhaps if you sent along those burly goblins you have here with you, it would be effortless. In exchange for such a loan we are willing to offer you all of the reward in which we find, I'm positive it would outshine your current stash by a long shot." Now confidently facing the demon he let his mind wander in an attempt to feign off any other emotion. Inwardly he wasn't quite sure whether he should laugh or run...

The Demon King roars, his obvious anger and frustration apparent. "Who dares enter my realm? What fool would chance my wrath? This must be dealt with immediately!" Calming slightly, Azulas turns to Talos and says, "Your proposition intrigues me, dark one... Perhaps there is something in your words worth consideration. But my honor guard remains with me, to serve my every whim. But if you are afraid of this demon pretender, perhaps I can assist you. You see I have at my beck and call a team of humans much like yourselves, who would gladly accompany you to find this... demon did you say? Yes, that seems to be exactly the course of action to properly eliminate any potential threat to my crown. I shall send for them immediately." Reaching up, the Demon King Azulas pulls a bell cord, summoning a pathetic little goblin patroller to his presence. "Bring the Children to me, NOW!", Azulas bellows, sending the Goblin tumbling away in terror. Regaining his feet, the Goblin begins to run for the door, intent on carrying out his instructions.

(So does this mean your going to allow the Goblin Patroller to leave the room and fetch "reinforcements?" If this is your final decision, let me know and I will proceed with your inevitable slaughter...)

Malignant Defector ((Oh... I didn't understand where you were going with this I guess. Will killing the patroller have to count in my first battle post, or can I just slam it out of here and initiate battle with the final group?)) You can take the story path to deal with the patroller, if you prefer. He's not intended to be part of the final conflict anyway, unless he makes it out of the room...

((Alright, Talos and I have made a plan for this situation via PM. Give us a few minutes to play out this scenario.))
4 Co. stares at the Golem for a minute before saying in a serious tone of voice. "Ababba deeba dooba dabba." As he continues to stare at the Golem with absolute focus, he discreetly activates his MuDiQuSiGe.
Suddenly the door that the goblin patroller was walking towards seems to tear apart like paper revealing another world. Through the tear all that can be seen is a writhing wall of inky oily blackness. Tentacles shoot forth from the blackness and latch onto the poor little goblin. As the goblin was lifted into the air the source of the tentacles began to creep forth from the blackness revealing itself slowly. It was a hideous, macabre monstrosity Lovecrafted from the nightmares of demons. Its large pulsing form was covered in mouths and tentacles of many shapes and sizes. Boiling pus spewed from every orifice on the monstrosity as its tentacles thrashed about wildly, slamming the little goblin into the walls and ceiling.
((Alright, I'm going to pull a technique from Bleach and throw in a flashback in the middle of an exciting scene to slightly, but unnecessarily enhance the scene.))
3 Minutes Earlier
Boolg was having a good day. Azulas had just rung his summoning bell for the first time since it was put in place and granted him the great honor of being of some use to his master. Boolg's entire family line had been pathetic scrugs, destined to be either fed to livestock or used as live ammunition. Boolg had shown he could surpass his miserable ancestors and be the great lieutenant obscure message carrier, second only to Grub the flatulent. Entering the chambers Boolg formally bows before hearing his master's stern orders. Tumbling but once, Boolg dashes for the door intent on proving himself a master of obscure message delivery. His hopes for finding a mate, raising a family of greenies and retiring to the death pastures lay before him. All these hopes rested on a short walk to the next room. Unfortunately the door seemed to tear open and a darkness so dark it darkened normal darkness seemed to greet him. There's usually a door here, but the flames of my future burn brighter than this deathly darkness! I shall press onward to glory! Before Boolg knew it, the floor flew out from under him as many tentacles latched onto him and threw him back and forth through the air. "Anyone please listen to me..." He yelled as he was smashed into the ceiling. "Whatever happens do not ever forget the..." He cried as he was bashed into the wall. "Name..." At this point the monsters mouths began to buzz as millions of otherworldly bees with dagger sized stingers engulfed his tiny form snuffing out his final word till all that they could hear was agonized screaming and retching noises. Boolg would never know a mate, nor would he ever have a family of greenies. It seemed his family was inevitably destined to be nothing but worthless scrugs.
As the monstrosity began to flow back into the darkness with its new plaything, it made a horrifying sound similar a small girl's giggling. After the creature fully submerged back into the darkness, the door rematerialized into its original form. On the floor lay the only evidence of the monstrosities existence, a boiling pool of pus. After a few moments the pus quickly wiggled away squishing underneath the elaborate door to who knows where. A few muffled screams could be heard before silence retook the room.
4 Co. finally turns his gaze from Azulas to the door. "I shall never forget you AHHHGAHGARGLESPURT."
((There, I took your advice and took the story path. What do you think?))

Inching away from the scene of this event Talos shakily digs out a filled pipe from his pocket and brings it back to his mouth. Instantly spitting it out he begins coughing and gagging. "Bleh old man drool. Where in the nine hells did I steal that from anyway?" Taking a look at the demon he quickly remembered their farce and picked up where this turn of events had let off. "There now you see the demon we have been describing. It must have learned of your plan and struck while the timing was right. Its powers are unimaginable, it was able to attack your minions in your own home. Surely you can see what little value your honor guard actually serves." An idea leaped forth into his mind and he proceeded with it flawlessly. In fact I believe we could be a better honor guard to you then those pathetic goblins. As a demon I'm sure you could appreciate a duel to the death between us mighty fighters and your so called honor guard..." With that he waited hoping the goddess of chance and wine favored him this day.

[[ Urahara's background story... eh. x) Poor goblin... I'm so very tempted to say something ba-aadd. ]]
Drifting off, the half elf began glancing around the room. She tried to think of adjectives that would transform the hall into a dragon's bedroom. She awoke with the fright as the goblin disappeared in a single bite.

(Very entertaining you two; definitely worth a bonus at the end of this journey...)
Azulas leans forward in excitement, observing the gruesome display of his minion being devoured by the nightmarish visage presented as his demonic nemesis. A roar of laughter greets the dire statement presented by Talos, as Azulas sits back into his seat, somehow managing to achieve a position akin to relaxation. "It seems my unworthy adversary has a sense of humor; coming into my lair and destroying the least of my servants before quickly retreating to safety. Or perhaps you come to me as jesters, seeking to provide entertainment at the foot of my throne; an attempt to ease the tiresome duties I suffer while ruling these pathetic lands. Very well, I will allow you to serve as my personal troupe of fools; rather than wasting such talent upon so pathetic a wretch as this ... demon. Now, entertain me fools, or I shall wreak such delights as you have never imagined upon your weak and spineless bodies!"

TamrielicKnight ((Not sure if your allowing the combat with the honor guard first or if its just roleplaying you want but either way I feel its time to progress since you wouldn't play along with my desperation techniques.)) Azulas would not take the chance of allowing you to defeat his bodyguards, leaving him to face the four of you alone. He has no reason to trust your allegiance, as you have offered nothing but words. At this point he doesn't feel threatened by your presence either, so you can pretty much walk off if you wanted to. And if your looking for a duel to the death to prove your strength, he will be happy to summon the Children to allow you the opportunity to take their place within his army. Regardless, if your really looking to avoid the final Boss fight, feel free to continue your RP attempts to do so... but don't expect to come out of this with much in the way of treasure. He's got it all, and he's not in a sharing mood...

((Alright, this will be a hard fight. I think that the Shaman presents the most threat with its damage possibilities plus its small heal, so lets eliminate it first. Everyone focus all the damage you can on it. If you need to protect yourself that takes priority, just try to do at least some damage anyway. Also, if you have an action or spell that can stun, I'll leave it to you to choose if you want to try to stun a Bodyguard.))
4 Co.'s MuDiQuSiGe powers up again and creates a portal behind the Goblin Elite Shaman. From the portal the strange beast from before slithers forth and slams its tentacles into the goblin. Atop the monstrosity can be seen the withered and worn form a Boolg. "Light, precious light... I haven't seen this light in years... *cough* What? Where the--?" The little goblin's eyes open wide at the sight of Azulas. "Master! I'm back master! Save me from this horrid fate, I've been stuck here with nothing to eat but bubbling pus... *Cough cough* Please master, save this lowly servant from a fate worse than death..." Boolg tries desperately to remove himself from the monstrosity, but his efforts are to no avail as the pus and bodies of other worldly bees have him stuck fast.
The Gravity Sword materializes in front of the Goblin Elite Shaman. "Hey have you guys seen Gregory? He missed our tea party and I couldn't find him anywhere! He has a bunch of tentacles and oozes candy..." The Gravity Sword spins and notices the monstrosity behind the shaman. "Gregory! I've been looking for you!" The Gravity Sword rushes forward and slams head on into the shaman. "Hey watch it, you're in my way fudgey!" The monstrosity, seemingly noticing the Gravity Sword, quickly backed into the portal. "Hey wait!" Boolg howled in despair as the creature started returned to the other dimension. "No, don't bring me back there! They'll make fun of me again! No, N---!" Boolg is cut short as the portal closes. The Gravity Sword spins around in frustration, "WAH! and I finally found him too! He was supposed to bring the crumpets!"
4 Co. calmly walks over to one of the bodyguards and kicks it square in the shin.
