Where the heck do you people find these pictures?!
I have to do all my character art myself!
Anyways, I just had a thought that made me laugh. If I ever chose to write David out, I would't even need to have a "Marvel Death".
I'd just have him wander off and get lost, later finding himself somewhere in China, and even HE won't be sure how he got there. Also, he'll have somehow learned Chinese in the space of a week. How? It's David, it doesn't have to make sense.

I hunt the great interwebs for pics because I've got very poor artistic skills.
Photobucket searches and just general browsing during times when I'm modivated to actually look for pics to use for characters.
I love that idea! It's so fitting for David to land in China then learn Chinese lol

Hey, maybe I'll use it for a mini-plot. I'll only sort-of write him out, allowing me to explore other characters, but David won't be gone for very long. What I'd do with him is have him wander off during the RP, and then every so often have a "And now, The Adventures of Dave" segment, which documents where exactly he ends up.
EDIT-
Also, 19500 GET!

With great regret that I inform you all that I'm taking my leave. Between familly issues and a work schedual that simply won't remain consistant I simply don't have the time to dedicate myself to get anything resembling quality posting in.
So good luck, have fun and try not to burn the place down now.

I guess it's because I'm coming off a sugar high but the words 'I got gerbils' made me giggle just now.
But anyway, everyone stop what you're doing right now and see Iron Man. It kicks-a**, for those of you who are out of the loop.
And stay after the credits...of course.

Arghh, I saw it on the 30th (I won passes to an advance screening), and I didn't know to stay after the movie until a day or two later.
On another note...
What strategies do you guys use when you're writing in-character? Any specific little rituals, or do you just sit down and write?
Personally, I listen to music when I post. Sometimes I listen to certain songs for certain characters ("Sympathy For The Devil" when I write Mystique, for example), or sometimes I'll put a song for a certain scene.
What about you guys? I'm curious.
And following that, what kind of music do you guys listen to? Lately, I've been listening to Nightwish and Kamelot.
You guys?

I'm sure you can find the bit after the credits on youtube by now. I mean, it's the 21st century....
As for a ritual, I don't think I have one. Unless it's been a really long time, or I'm just not feelin' that day, I slip into character like it was nothing. I have noticed, that even when I play a canon though, I share at least one quality with that character, so slipping into character is even easier. Go figure
Music you say? Gah...can't remember the last album I bought/downloaded. Can't name a artist/group I've been listening to more then the rest, at the moment.

Stomach flu is the sucks let me tell you....
Getting in the mood to RP? Depends on what I need to RP...I try and tailor my music to what I'm trying to RP so it's more sedate during the slow periods and the beat picks up when the excitement happens. Ya know?

Hmm... On the topic of music, I picked up one of Kamelot's albums today (The Black Halo), and I must say, I don't regret it. It's a damn good album.
Also, I finished my Alucard cosplay, as you can see. Well, mostly. Couldn't find anything close to the hat, so I kept my black one on.
EDIT- Oh, and I've also got another Hellsing cosplay ready to go. Look familiar to anyone?

Hi ppls!!! Sorry I haven't posted in AGES. Blame it on the reverse culture shock if you want. I'm back in the States, I had a wonderful time and all, but it's nice to be home. I'll post after I catch up.
(Oh, and I agree with Onion about Iron Man. It rocked even the second time. Has anyone else seen Caspian or Indiana Jones yet?)

You know you owe us pics, right?
And yes, I saw Indian Jones last Saturday and its definitely a go see. Wasn't excited to see it at first though, as I remember watching the original and getting bored part of the way through, but that's possibly because its dated as hell, ya know?
BTW, has anyone seen Speed Racer? Everyone I talk to says it sucks and that there was no plot whatsoever, but I think I'm okay with that. I can't help but be a sucker for stunning visuals.
I also saw Baby Mama a few weeks ago. It was surprisingly fun and had a good story, in my opinion.
