Just inside the trees and plantlife where Pyroth was stalking there was a rustling. It sounded fairly large, but something that attempted to be silent, stealthy. The sound came closer to Pyroth slowly... Each crunching step and shaken leaf kept getting neaer to him.... Then out from the bush before Pyroth:
Awen fell flat on her face, once again tripping over a root or a rock of something in the jungle. "Ow...." She mumbled thinking herself to be alone. She blinked when she saw herself staring at a foot. "Oh..." slowly she tilted her head upwards. The foot was attached to a leg! Continuing up she saw it was a whole person there before her...imagine that.
She started to get up muttering apologies when she paused, finally seeing the persons face. "Oh.... it's you..." She looked away a little embarrassed, of herself for the last time and for the rude greeting this time.
She tried an awkward apologetic smile. "I'm....sorry I didn't mean it like that..."

Pyroth Pyroth froze as he heard the rustling, those horrible instincts vying for his attention once again. He even resisted growling as the sound drew closer and closer, the fine fur across his back and shoulders striving to bristle. Then Arwen fell into veiw and he instantly dropped every pretence of hostility, if there was one person on the island he didn't want to intimidate any further it was the blue haired girl in front of him. He didn't hide the vague cringe at her words, understanding just fine why she might not have been too keen to see him again. "Hello to you too." he stated with the vaguest of toothy grins. "No worries, I'm used to not being too happily welcomed, I don't blame you after the way I behaved in the cafeteria." He shrugged faintly "Every day is a bad day when you look like this, doesn't make it right to take it out on you. Sorry about the vicious behaviour." She blinked a little bit not having expected that sort of reaction. "I didn't mean it in a bad way. I just haven't seen you since the first day on the island, that's all. I honestly don't know where you went after that and I'm jsut surprised to run into you again." She talked really fast and seemed to shake her head as though she really didn't want his misunderstanding. "Really I... I should be sorry. I was just.. lost and confused and... well...."
She took a deep breath to try and calm her down. "Now that I see what's happening I'm not really surprised you reacted the way you did. I don't know I have a feeling I might react the same way were I in your situation..."
That's a lie.... She thoght to herself. You were in that same situation with Jamal. You didn't get angry..... you almost cried! She brushed away that little thought and decided it's best this way. She was after all half crying from frustration of it.... and she had never been one too quick to anger.... and besides she knew she was insane, so what Jamal said didn't really hurt her as much. Not to mention the fact she was still half at peace with the Doctor, he never lied to her after all....
But she wouldn't tell Pyroth that right now. She smiled a little bit and rustled around in her pocket for something. "I think we got off on the wrong foot. I really think we could be friends though." She gave him a warm firendly smile as she ever had. "But really I was just passing through um..." She grabbed his hand from his side and stuffed something into his palm, promptly taking off.
"See you later!" She waved over her shoulder, almost trippnig again over a rock this time, but saving herself at the last second.
Were Pyroth to open his hand he would notice a little blue flower with a note attached. Sadly, due to it being in her pocket the flower was in poor shape... but the note read "Duplex 21, really sorry for everything. Sorry for being delusional, stress and all. You're ears aren't that big either, I was actually refferingto Colche on that note, but you are fuzzy. But hye fuzzy is a good thing! I don't know what I'm becoming either.... but I'm sure whatever it is, is groser than a fuzzy thing you're becoming. Have heart... It should all turn out right hun. ^_^ Byebye then! And forry again... Awen"

Ian wandered around in the jungle. It felt really good to be out in the fresh air again. After being sick in his duplex for awhile he was really grateful for everything that was outside.
His feet which he had decided to leave bare crunched on the jungle floor, with his hew hooves and tougher skin he barely felt it. His stomach rumbled and he remembered how little he had eaten during his illness. Grabbing a rather large leaf he began to eat feeling the sweetness of its nutrients giving him more energy already.

Emerwyn, still a little upset about Awen, began exploring the shrubbery that grew in the jungle. She walked slowly through, picking leaves off as she went, somehow knowing which to, and which not to, take a bite out of. She found one bush that had particularly sweet leaves, and she kneeled beside it, munching contentedly, glad to be free in the air. She was still in a bit of pain, and was still drained of all her energy. This was to help bring some back. She was just about ready to curl up under the bush and fall fast asleep when she heard some rustling nearby. Emerwyn peeked around the bush curiously, not getting fully up, but rather staying on her knees. Her eyes travelled up a pair of legs, eventually looking into the face of Ian. Something stirred in her.

Ian could smell Emerwyn before he saw her. The scent was slightly different from what he remembered. He couldn't identify it, but something in his brain said that the Emerwyn with this different scent wasn't a threat. Upon that realization Ian decided that Emerwyn had changed and that she wasn't a creature that was a threat to him. All this occured in a matter of seconds and he looked down at towards Emerwyn.
The first thing he noticed was her ears. They were higher on her head, wider and pointier. And cute, he felt himself thinking. Fighting the impulse to mention that to her, he reached down his hand to her. "Are you alright?" he hoped she wasn't in too much pain from her transformation.

Emerwyn smiled and gave her hand to him. "Just resting." Her senses were all alight, and she felt slightly fluttery. Maybe it was the reaction to another transforming person. After all, her senses had sharpened strangly. The changes were still making her dizzy. She held up the leaves she'd been chewing on. "These ones are good. They taste even better now that... you know." She coughed once.

"So you're an herbivore," he said slowly as he carefully helped her up. He looked at the leaves, they were of a kind he hadn't yet had an opportunity to sample, and heard Emerwyn cough. "Are you taking something for that cough?" Emerwyn's health was of great importance to him, "I don't want anything to happen." Emerwyn's scent must be getting to him. He was feeling all protective and worrisome, and he really wanted to give her a hug. To help her feel better, is the excuse he gave himself.
"May I try one of those leaves?" Ian's mental self grimaced, that was an absolutely horrible line. Ian had to learn some tact, and quickly.

"I guess so." Emerwyn straightened up. "The doctor did perscribe me that cough serum... but," she moved her fingers. "It's getting a little hard to open the bottle. Right on time for the coughs to get worse." she shuddered. "It was a rough night."
"Here," she handed him a couple of leaves. "I think they're my favorite. Though I was never much a botanist. I don't know what they're called."

Ian noticed her fingers for the first time. They were hard nubbed like his. "Hooves," he remarked quietly. "It's hard to do much when you have hooves. Like scratching." He tried to scratch his arm as an example, but his fingers only rubbed across the reddish fur. "I can imagine. When I transformed...I spent a lot of time curled on the floor. But at least I was lucky enough not to have a cough or anything. Maybe you could ask the person in the same building as you to help. Surely someone could." For lack of anything better to do Ian grabbed a leaf and chewed it carefully. It was very sweet. "This is good," he said around mouthful of leaf. "I really could get used to eating leaves."

"Yeah. And this too," Emerwyn turned her low body around so that Ian could see. "A cute fluffy tail like yours." It came out just over her shorts. She laughed. "I don't know. I think Colche might have an even harder time opening the bottle than I would." Laughing was a bad idea. The cough picked up a little bit. "I've really got to get to my room... I've got to try and open it... Do you want to come along? I'll make some tea."

Ian saw her tail and had to smile, while also trying to remember Colche. Oh yeah, she was the girl who called him fuzzy and he had let her pet him. "I like your tail." His smile grew as he looked at the tail. Even though it was short, most hooved creatures didn't have tails like that unless....."A cervid! I think you're becoming a cervid." He might not know about much else, but Ian knew his animals, and he was nearly certain he was correct. When she laughed her could hear her cough get worse and when he comprehended what she said to him next his eyes bugged.
She was inviting him to her room. Granted it was only for medicine and tea, but Ian had always been told to never intrude on a womans space. He broke into a small sweat, what was he going to do. Refusing the invitation would be horribly rude, but if he accepted....It was going to be awkward no matter which choice he decided upon. Taking a deep breth he opened his mouth, and to his surprise he said something. It wasn't what he had intended to say, but it was the answer he truly wanted to say. "Um, sure. If you're alright with it." Ian was proud of himself, that was a very tactful way of not sounding to eager to go, without sounding like he didn't want to go.

"Really? Maybe we're becoming the same thing... I didn't think the Doctor would duplicate animals.... Unless we're different kinds of cervids?" Emerwyn didn't know the first thing about any of this, so she decided to be quiet. "But don't listen to me, I'm just a writer..."
"Not at all! It's about time I started having guests." This was when Emerwyn realized she hadn't really cleaned up after the last night's episode. And besides that, she wasn't much of a housekeeper. Her memory book and its contents were all spread out in one corner. The bedsheets were almost entirely pulled off of the bed. Everything that stood on the nightstand was knocked off when she tried to grab her medicine. She had also negliected to clean up the small blood stain from the floor. She hated to have people worry. And somehow she felt that Ian would get more upset if he saw that that had happened again. However, she steeled herself and sucked it up; she'd do a quick clean before he came inside. Somehow, it meant a lot to Emerwyn to make a good impression...
"Come on." She grabbed a few more leaves from her favorite bush. She marked its location in her mind for the future. And she set off, at a slightly quicker pace, so that she could reach the duplex first.

Ian watched as she took off into the trees. Quickly grabbing a handful of leaves for himself he followed making sure to keep her in sight as he did not know where her duplex was. Guests, that was how Emerwyn had phrased it. Well, he was a guest, but he had never heard other people phrase it like that. They were stuck on an island together, surely they were all practically guest already. Shrugging it off he continued trotting through the jungle trying to keep Emerwyn in sight.

--- NEW RP ---
Amaya sat on an old tree stump in the jungle, the rays of the sun beaming down through the leaves and onto her scales to make them glint. Beside her sat a small stack of different books that had to do with different lizard species. She had been looking at these almost all day and was quickly getting nowhere. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she closed the book in her lap and let her head hang. The red locks blocking her view since the dye had still yet to wash out completely.
