After shaking her sister's hand Tressa took a stance. She was glad she had chosen a spot where the ball couldn't get stuck in a tree or on the roof of the pound. She licked her finger and held it up. Glancing at her sister she laughed. Then she threw the ball up in the air.
"Yes, I don't want them meeting up with anyone like me." Eric said with a small smile and a nervous laugh.

"You're fine hunny, I hope are daughters are as lucky as I am in finding someone." She replied as she softly rubbed his back, smiling happily all the way.
She watched in anticipation as the ball flew in the air, mouth wide open.

Eric gave a sigh and hugged Saki with one arm. "So what now?" he asked.
The ball flew as high as it had when Solemn threw it before it came back plummeting to the ground. It bounced off the ground and rolled away. "HA!" Tressa said. "You owe me a cookie now!" She had a very smug look on her face.

"Wanna go outside and play with Tressa and Solemn?"
"Aww okay, but whipe that smug look off your face first...it makes you look ugly." Solemn joked as she ran after the ball with a laugh.

Eric gave a shrug. "Sure, why not? Make sure they don't get into any trouble or get hurt." he said. Then he started making his way to the front door.
Tressa's face quickly went blank. "It does?!"

She followed behind and softly stretched, "Trouble I'm not so worried about, getting hurt on the other hand..." Saki said as she closed the door behind them, making her way to where their daughters were playing.
"Yeah, your so much prettier without it." She said in a point-blank tone, returning with the ball in hand then setting it down on the ground.

"Thanks for telling me, I'm never smirking again!" Tressa said as she took the ball.
"Whys that now?" Eric asked as she stepped up to his daughters.
"Oh hi Dad," Tressa said, turnign to look at him. "Solemn was just telling me I look ugly when I smirk."

Solemn replied with a small huff, "It's not that! Smirking is just when you smile after doing something mischievous or prude! That's what makes everyone ugly when they smirk, it's not just you Tressa."
She moved next to him and rubbed her temples, "Now now you two, you shouldn't fight over something as silly as smirking." Saki paused for a moment to kneel down to Solemn and Tressa, putting a hand on their shoulders. "You both are beautiful and sisters arn't suppose to fight, at least me and Aunt Toxxy never did......anyway! I don't know what to say about the smirking thing.."

"Were we frighting? I know I wasn't trying to start a fight." Tressa said blinking.
Eric decided just to stay out of the whole thing.
Tressa looked at Solemn. "Are you going to hold that ball all day or are you going to pass it back?" she asked, her tail flicked to the side.

Saki stood up and patted them on the head, then with a smile she patted Eric also. "I say we all go out for ice cream, how does that sound?"
"You have the ball," she pointed to where it was laying. "Yeah! What do you think, Tressa! C'mon! Ice cream!"

"ICE CREAM!" Tressa shouted happily as she hugged her mother. "Cones or bowls?" she asked looking up into Saki's face.
Eric smiled and held out a hand for Solemn. "I think ice cream is just what we all need." he said.

"It can be either, it's all up to how you want it." She said with a smile, thrilled to be a mother for many reasons. "All we have is vanilla and cookies and cream, hope no one minds."
"Mommy! I love cookies and cream! But not as much as I love mommy, daddy, and Tressa though!" Solemn said as she grabbed Eric's hand happily, holding her free hand out for Tressa.

"I want a cone. . . With two scoops or Cookies 'n Cream!" Tressa said as she grabbed her mother's hand and bgan to pull her towards the pound.
"I think I'll have vanilla in a bowl." Eric said as he walked with Solemn. "What about you, Saki?"

Saki tried to keep up with Tressa, "One scoop of vanilla with one scoop of cookies 'n cream." She said with a laugh as she scooped up Tressa and began to give her a piggy back ride.
She walked contently next to Eric, a smile plastered onto her face. "I'll have the same as daddy, I'm still really full from lunch."

Tress smiled brightly as she giggled. Wrapping her arms arounf her mother's neck she said, "I love you, Mommy!"
Eric smiled at them all. He felt so proud to be a father. When the reached the door he let go of Solemn's hand and opened it with a bow. "Ladies first." he said.
