But my step-granpappy married my granmummy years before I was born so he's the only grandpa I've ever known on that side of the family. I've never considered him any less than my real grandpa. 3nodding heart Ooooh, ok. 4laugh Who knows though. i may have had some Irish mobsters in my family too. We've had all kinds of clowns among our ancestors. I'm thinking about writing a novel about my ancestry. whee The farthest I can trace back is the early 1500's. 3nodding My dad and my mom's sister do geneology things. I think it's boring, but I suppose if you have some interesting enough ancestors it wouldn't be so bad. rolleyes Oh I do! 3nodding My family practically founded Rhode Island. And one of my ancestors was burned at the stake. And one was a dumpster-diving millionaire. And one ran away with the circus when he was 16. And one got thrown out on the street (when he was 10) by his brother after their parents died, but then he became all rich and politically powerful and his brother dies poor and lonely. And one was one of the only survivors of the Rainbow Division in World War 1. And one was a suffragette (all the woman in the family were radicals). And one ran the wrong way through Check-Point Charlie (at the Berlin Wall) (in his pajamas I might add) and got shot at. mrgreen Sorry for babbling on. (I could go on for hours. xd ) I just lurve my family. They were all completely off their rockers. rofl Oh! One of my ancestors got burned at the stake in the Salem witch trials! I don't know of anyone else interesting in my family, though. ninja
