Hi! I just joined the guild a couple of days ago, but I forgot to post here! I've wanted to learn japanese for a long time, but I just started recently, and I'm going to start my classes again soon. I'm going to turn 15 in a month, and ... I like computers, Anime, books, music (specifically J-Rock and stuff like that; my favorite band at the moment is Malice Mizer >.<) and ... that's all I can think of for now!

Hajimemashite! MalfoyKoibito-desu. I've taken a couple of classes in Japanese, but that was a few years ago sweatdrop ... so they all but don't count. I watch anime with subtitles, so I know a few generic phrases from those. I've also learned hiragana and katakana, I'm beginning to study kanji and I've about learned the first 50 in my reference book. ( It would probably help if I learned some vocabulary to use with it though. xp ) If anyone cares to compare, to graduate from the sixth grade in Japan, one must learn atleast 1850 kanji characters. eek That's the basic amount to read a newspaper. *ahem* I've got some work to do. xp
Anyway, I'm studying to teach English in Japan, so if anybody else is doing the same, maybe we should study together or something? I'm actually studying to teach English as a second language, and I'm learning Japanese and French, so it's not just Japanese for me... but it is my favorite. xd (Also, I was born in Okinawa, if anyone cares to know. whee )
My friend went to Japan last month... I'm so jealous. stare *not fair*

Hey there. I suppose this is the place to introduce myself...
I'm seventeen and I'm very interested in Japan (no duh). ^_^ I'm an anime and manga lovin' fangirl, which is why I'm here, I guess. What can I say? It exposed me to the greatness that is Japan. smile
I'm planning on taking Japanese in college, *crosses fingers and prays* so until then, learning the language isn't a real top priority for me (of course, I'm interested, but you know...) I'm also in the process of researching the Lolita fashion style. *winks*

hello. i respond to wire among other names and i have enjoyed the japanese culture for quite some time. and recently (last week actually) i took a serious interest in learning japanese. i taught myself katakana and am currently learning hiragana. i can read a bit, but not nearly as fast as i would like to. i joined to improve my japanese because this guild was recommended by a friend. well, i can't really think of what else to say at the moment - i tend to be shy.... ^.^

Greetings. I am KiminaTheGuardian. Over the years of my anime exposure I have learned many things. I know a scant amount of Japanese terms and I have a good knowledge of some etiquet. I've made fan characters for my favorite anime Ranma 1/2, which comprises of Kimina Saotome and Pearl, the Joketsuzoku Chinese Amazon warrior. I hope to spend a lot of time learning with you all. smile

Hi everybody my name is Aimura. In Japanese it means "village of love". When you take Ai "love" and Mura "village", it adds up to "village of love". I have always had a love for Japan and I know there is more to Japan than anime/manga/video games. I know a few words here and there in Japanese, and my goal is to became fluent in the language by I'm 25 (I'm 17). I also want to travel thru the whole country one day. But enough of that. I'm glad I got in and I will enjoy this guild to the fullest.
Sayonara.

Hello. My name is Angie/Kanani. I am 17 years old. I've been fascinated with the Japanese language, yet I'm not able to learn it just yet.
Most of my friends are Asian, so I suppose my influence to learn Japanese came from them. (I'm the only one that doesn't speak Chinese or Japanese. >_< Only Spanish since I'm Mexican, Chinese, and Hawaiian.)
I hope to pay a visit to Japan someday, yet I should learn some basics before going anywhere. >_<
