Pushing hair and sweat off his forehead with the back of one hand, Cyabo wickered frustratedly to himself. Pops wasn't here yet, and Cy hadn't gotten the set up right in this room, and Seren & Echo would be here any moment... With a bit of a growl, one of his long legs kicked out, which sent the wide sponge sliding across the room and into the far corner, which had just happened to be exactly where he wanted it to be. "Huh." He blinked, then smiled to himself. Everything seemed to be working out for the best.

"Back here, in Echo's room," Cy called out, taking another look around. Bed in the corner, window looking out over where all the fry would play, several pillow-like bundles of kelp strewn about here and there. Yeah, he thought Echo would like it just fine.

Echo's entrance distracted Cy from the doorway at first, and he grinned at his sister, then ruffled the top of her head like their father often did. "I'm guessing you like it, then? Good thing, 'cause Pops already has plans for the rest of the house."

Slight movement from Seren caught his attention, as well as the tiny gasp, and he turned to her. Salmon-colored eyes widened, and his breath caught in his throat. Seemed he hadn't been the only one to grow recently, and if Echo hadn't been present, he probably would have scooped Seren up right then and there, carrying her off to... well, anywhere, really.

The sensation of her arms around his neck, skin touching skin, sent a shiver down his bare back. With a slow smile, he wrapped his own arms around her waist. "I don't think 'like' is the right word for it." Completely against his normally proper thought process, images of comments Mect had made in the past about hands making it easier to "hold certain positions", Cy started to blush as well, the color dusky under his tanned skin.

Some good-natured grumbling came from the vicinity of the front door, just barely loud enough for Echo to be able to hear, and certainly not enough for the pair in the back, as Mect entered the abode, trying to navigate through the front opening with his arms full of some oddly kelp-draped bundle.

"You can move in as soon as you're ready, girlie," Mect grinned at her, before adjusting the bundle a bit in his arms. At her offer to help, though, he just kinda nodded her away. "Dunno if the kiddos want to get passed around quite yet. This is the first round; guess there's something in the waters, 'cause about everyone's having eggs nowadays." Moving easily to one of the larger cushions, he settled the bundle down on it, then carefully opened it, exposing three eggs.

Cuddling Seren close, Cy sighed happily. The only drawback he could see, however, was that her new top put a barrier between them, however thin it might be. One hand toyed absentmindedly with the clasp at the small of her back. "No matter what I look like? What if I sprout warts all over?"

Mect grinned a little, then pointed at the slightly larger one in the middle. "That one's a sibling. The other two don't have parents around these parts, so I figured you guys wouldn't mind looking after them." He gently shifted the other two, one with little hearts within it, the other appearing to have some sort of white head dress. "You're more than welcome to hold one, after all, that's what you're going to be doing, right?"

Looking her over once more, Cy tried to figure out how he had managed to get so lucky. With an almost goofy smile, he dipped in for another kiss, this one a little more leisurely, more measured.

"Ah..." Mect tried to remember what he had been told when he'd picked up the eggs. "That one's... a Solar. Yeah." He didn't know much about Solars himself, having not met any around these parts, so he wasn't able to add much more than that.

Eyes closing momentarily, Cy relished the sound of those words from her lips. "I love you too, my dearest, my Serenata." Pulling her even closer, he whispered again, "Always, now and forever."

Though he would have been perfectly content to let Echo come find them, just to have a few more moments with Seren, Cy went ahead and let her lead them in the direction of his sister's yelling. The mention of blue butts caused his eyes to drift downwards briefly, only to come back up with a quick flush to his face.

"Well, the eggs are going wherever you guys think is best, really." Mect was about to add more, on the subject of solars versus lunars, but Echo's sudden exclamation cut him short. Reaching a finger up to rub at his ear a little, he winced and raised an eyebrow at her. "Yelling really necessary, girlie?"
