Raion returned home and fed his cats. He layed in his bed while his cats climbed over him and played. He was deep in thought. Bascus stopped, "Thinking about your potental mate?" He meowed. Rai seemed to understand, "What? No, I resent that!" He said dtroking his fur. "Shes in the hospital," He admitted to the cats.

Xeno flipped through the book, then spoke. "Well come you are." He was desperately trying to keep up with her fast-spoken English, and to learn the right words fast enough. It was quite frusterating.

Xeno began to memorize the book. He knew that he would have problems with word order, but that was not important right now. He was excedingly glad of his photographic memory, otherwise it would take forever to learn this strange tongue. His eyes flew across the pages, taking in everything. "Shure I am not." He said, in answer to Rilaku's comment.

Rilaku smiled. "We'll work on the order later. So... what do you know about this?" She asked holding up the necklace. "I mean, You have one kind of like it. So I think you might have some answers. I mean, if you do know anything. I'm sure you do..." She stopped herself. "Sorry, I ramble when I get nervous." She smiled weakly.

Rilaku was picturing it all in her head. She had a very vivid imagination. Like it was in real life. "And tell me, what did 'The evil ones' look like?" She asked staring hard into Xeno's face.

Xeno thought for a second. "Evil ones like shadows were. Bad shadows. Long sharp legs. Many of them. Black. Dark black. The color of death." He shuddered again. You were never quite the same after you saw one of them.
