"Hey- Roque. Kinu. You two want to head off to get something to eat?" Kae was obviously partially out of the loop as she passed a trio of gennin to get to two of her chuunin. "Where's Gaen?" she then asked, glancing around. She overheard the gennin talking about where the ramen shop might be, and smiled lightly. "Maybe we could see if those gennin want to join us, too." she suggested, returning her attention to the duo she'd walked up to. She blinked and realized they'd been training, and grinned nearly sheepishly.
She had a shorter attention span when hungry- which was mostly why she tried not to be.
"After you two finish, of course."

Isaaku shook his head, "We would never make it back in time. And he really didn't mark anything, he only gave us some vague directions... I have an idea." Isaaku made a few katas and two clones appeared beside him, a basic jutsu of earth dolls. (Like shadow clones, but made of earth.) He turned to them and nodded, they then proceeded to jump up to nearby buildings and spread out in search of the ramen shop. "Maybe we can find it that way, or at least narrow it down some." Isaaku had not heard the jounin nearby.

Gaen

PostPosted: Sat Dec 22, 2007 10:07 am

((Stupid life getting in the way of my fantasy worlds!))

Roque was about to answer Kinus' offer of a ramen shop when Kae came along. Roque was going to turn to greet his sensei, but realized he still had Kinu in something of an uncomfortable position.
"Oh, sorry 'bout that." Roque said to Kinu as he let go of her hand. He turned his attention to Kae, giving a respectful bow. His armour cracked and crumbled as he did so. "We were actually just talking about going for lunch Kae-sama." He said light heartedly. "As for Gaen..." Roque turned and headed away from Kae and Kinu. "The little green nut job could be anywhere. I think he said something about birds."
Roque bent over and picked up the large leather bound book that he had brought to the spar. Most of his armour had crumbled away at this point and only a few pieces of dirt clung to him. Kiesel had shaken herself free of the armour after Roque picked up the book. A small sneeze was heard from the kitten, and Roque smiled at it.
"Any who. This belongs to you." Roque said, offering the book up to Kinu. "And what about Genin?" Roque asked when he saw to clones jump off in different directions. Kiesel purred and gave a small 'mew' and Roque nodded in what could be thought of as agreement. "Oh, those ones. So my little rock monkey genin room mate and company?" He let out a big wide grin and clapped his hands together loudly. "So what are we wating for? Lets' EAT!"

Gaen had been dancing through the forests of Konoha for the past little while. The tree branches were more familiar to him than any road or street. He was a green blur in a forest. There would be no way of noticing him if he would just shut up.
"WHEEEEEE!" Gaen shouted as he vaulted on a slightly thinner branch. He had brought himself over the canopy and twisted in the air. He dove back down into the leaves as if they were an ocean. "Birds are fast little buggers." Gaen smiled to himself, swinging from one branch and throwing himself through a gap between two others. He had been tracking a particular flock of birds for the better part of his morning. He could have snuck up on them and been done in five or ten minutes, but Gaen opted for the chace since it was more fun. "There you are!" He declared, looking up through the leafy cieling. A blue bird flew along with several others, fourteen in all. Gaen was looking at the smallest of the group, a small tracking tag was in his hand and he thumbed it excitedly. He formed a few hand signs, and took a deep breath. "Grune Mann" Gaen said almost sollomly. His viens seemed to nearly burst, and his muscles tensed up for a breif moment, then Gaen disappeared. The little blue bird did so as well, only to reappear moments later with a small tracking tag pinned to its wing. The bird didn't seem to have noticed.
Gaen was still running off the stimulants that his blood vine had injected him with. It was the smallest amount that he could manage, but it was still a massive jolt to the system. He had cleared the forest in a matter of seconds and was half way through town when the effects wore away. 'Close enough.' Gaen thought drearily. He had used a very impressive amount of chakra, and was only a few minutes from the valley that Roque said he was sparring with Kinu in. Gaen hopped from his higher route to the streets that he seldom ever used. He walked the remaining few minutes to training ground #26, spotting Roque Kinu and Kae behind some Genin. Gaen almost made it all the way there until he fell on his face. Either he was tired from lack of sleep, lack of food, having used his Grune Mann technique or some combination of the three he wasn't sure. But some how, his legs didn't feel the need to keep him upright anymore.
"Mubid hegs" Gaen mumbled, face still burried slightly. His feet found some energy and pushed. His butt went into the air, followed by his feet until they made a complete flip. Gaens' face never left the ground until his feet landed and hauled him up. He let out a yawn and brushed at his face with a very unenthusiastic hand. "Howdy." He waved, to whom couldn't really be told, but that mattered very little to Gaen at the moment.

(( Gaen xDD ))

Kae smiled a bit, nodding a little as things were explained to her. She murmured a bit of a 'bless you' as Roque's kitten sneezed, and then blinked at the book the chuunin gave to his team mate. She raised her eyebrows a little, and smiled as the Gennin were spotted, nodding a little. She turned to look at the trio still discussing things, when Gaen made his less-than-graceful appearance.

"My goodness- what were you doing?" Kae asked, a bit of a look of concern on her face. "Anyways- we were about to aid those Gennin, and join them at the Ramen Shop for lunch. Would you like to come?"

Ran nodded, and blinked at the entrance of Gaen. She then overheard the Jounin who was addressing the Chuunin, and nodded to that forming group. "Perhaps that Jounin will help..." she murmured. "Either way- we should get there, soon." she added, giving a cough.

Yuki nonchalantly took a seat outside the shop, waiting for his genin patiently. Maybe I should've been more specific with my directions... Sitting in the sunlight, Yuki began to get a little warm. It was late spring, and the trees were in their glory, knowing that this was their best time of year. Looking skyward, Yuki noticed some patches of what appeared to be rain clouds closing in on Konoha. A small bird chirped away merrily. Such peace...

((Wow my imagination seems to have gone *pooff* for a momnet ;___ wink )

Kinu was relieved when Roque finally let go of her arm and rubbed the elbow gently while greeting the jounin with a small nodd. He had sure been good at timing his arrival, pure coincidence? She had always been the one to doubt things that just seemed to happen by coincidence, since she had realised this was seldom the case. Lunch sounded very good though at the moment, since she felt a bit fatigued by using so many chakra requiring moves in a row. Not as tired as Gaen seemed to be though, the other mud covered chuunin seemed just as weird as her other earth teammate.

The book reward was awesome though, she could not wait to look through it. After recieving it Kinu grabbed in firmly, actually it almost looked as if she was fondling it. While holding the book she gave the genins a cold glare, wondering if they were any good, since that was just the kind of person she was, one that immediately criticised everyone.

Isaaku blinked for a moment at Ran. "Jounin?" He turned to the direction Ran was looking and went from smiling to blank. One of the chunin was giving them a dirty look. "I don't know, do think they're friendly?" Isaaku whispered after turning back around. Isaaku was aware that older ninja often were discriminate towards younger ones. He didn't dismiss his clones because of it.

Batafurai nodded happily and strolled up to the Jounin. "Hi! We're supposed to meet our sensei at the Ramen shop but we've forgotten where it is. Can you give us some directions, please?" Her words came out almost as a slur, as she glanced at the three chuunin's. Her little energetic mouth spread wide like a fan, as she gave them all a dopey grin.

Kae smiled as Batafurai approached them, and poked Kinu to make the girl stop looking like she was judging how to best roast the gennin. She giggled a little at that thought. "Sure. We were about to head there, anyways." she nodded to her Chuunin, and began walking over to the other two gennin, before nodding to the side, signifying that she would lead the way. "Come on, you guys! I'm hungry!" she called to the group-mass of six, before bobbing ahead, taking note to go a little slower than she wanted because of Gaen's apparent near-exhaustion.

"Who is your Jounin?" Kae asked the gennin as they traveled.

Ran hung around the back of the group, but she was still able to hear Kae's questions and comments. She coughed a bit heavily as they passed under someone dusting out their carpet, but continued with the rest of the group, soon having it under control. She examined the chuunin, recognizing her room-mate, but not the others.

"Awesome!" Batafurai hissed with a clenched fist. She skipped behind the Jounin and remained grinning. "Our sensei is Yuki-sensei!" She replied, talking in a matter-of-factly voice. "Isn't that right, Ran, Isaaku? Gotta have some closure!" As she skipped along, she began to kick some small pebbles infront of her.

(My computer is acting up again, so don't be surprised if I disappear for a bit. Sorry.)

Isaaku shook his head, I guess it doesn't matter now..." He semi-whispered to himself and to Ran. He walked slower behind the others, and when Batafurai asked, he nodded and said, "Yes, it's Yuki-sensei. I think he's an Otonin." His face changed suddenly, as if he remembered something, which he did. He made the Tora kata and dismissed his clones. Somewhere, there was a puff of smoke and the clatter of stone.

((I'm so sorry I had to leave. My grandmother had severe heart complications. Atrial Fibulation, I think it was called, but my entire family had to go to Cleveland to help her. Then the doctors screwed up, and the past week has been hell. I'm so sorry.))

"Very well." At this, the twins told two people to show them to their rooms once dinner was completed and apologized for their leaving. They looked oddly worried since their cousin seemed to be doing something rather off. They walked down the hall to see what was the matter with him.

((No problem. Real Life always comes first. I hope your grandmother's alright now.

But, didn't our characters only just have lunch?))

Shinji wandered aimlessly through the halls, admiring the artwork adorning their walls. It was a really beautiful house, both inside and out. I hope I don't get lost, he thought.
