Riyo was suprised by Yuki's sudden movement. She quickly sat up and looked at them, giving a jump when Yuki kicked Neko. She then looked toward the waking Mitsu and quickly took a few crawls back when she suddenly moved. "... Nyu." She said and stared at her for a moment.

After she seemed to calm, Riyo smiled and crawled over to Mitsu, sitting beside her and letting out another yawn.

"I didn't say I wasn't," Neko grinned. "I just said I wasn't acting on any ideas that I might have had or there would have been more than cuddling involved." He felt compelled to ignore Mitsu, which he did, but when Hitsu began to stir he turned to her and smiled. "Morning, did you sleep well?"

When Riyo sat next to Mitsu she smiled at her through her sleepy gaze, still rubbing at her eyes. "Nyu?" The memories from yesterday had all settled back down into her mind and now she knew where she was and who she was with. Letting out a yawn that quickly followed Riyo's, Mitsu decided it was time to look for food.

"Hungry." She stated simply as she wandered over to the tunnel that lead back outside. Sniffing at the air cautiously she started to move into the tunnel checking to make sure she didn't pick up the scent of the strange man from last night. Further down the tunnel her focus veered from danger more toward food as her stomach growled in protest to its lack of substance. Her metabolism was so fast she would have to eat something soon.

"Don't elaborate." Yuki said flatly, with a expression of mixed disgust and irritation as he adverted his attention away. He was sure he didn't want to know what may or may not have been crossing Neko's mind, but guessed that whatever it was would most likely deserve a harder kick. Maybe several of them. Yuki frowned as he addressed Hitsu, giving a bit of a frustrated groan.

"Yep, I stayed nice and warm." Hitsu replied, giving Neko a small smile in her lingering drowsy state. She looked up to Yuki, as he'd given an unmistakable growl. She tilted her head slightly, then gave a small sigh. Those two were always fighting. In reality, Hitsu didn't understand why Yuki always got so upset about Neko, but at the same time Hitsu herself had grown so accustomed to his harmless affections that his typical hugging and cuddling didn't seem like anything out of the ordinary. Any compliments were accepted just the same, and his words to Yuki apparently brushed off as Neko just trying to get a rise from him. "Knock it off, it's too early to be arguing." She demanded, though her tone would hardly intimidate. Hitsu got slowly to her feet, her eyes a moment before set on the tunnel leading back outside. She approached it quietly at first, and when she heard no sounds of fright she was left to assume that the bull hadn't waited outside for them. She decided to follow the path of the other two, and had begun to duck down in order to exit.

Yuki suddenly lost interest in bickering with Neko, and rushed toward Hitsu to reach out to tug her back by one shoulder. "I'll go out first." He said, offering no room for complaint as he gently moved her aside enough for him to crawl through ahead of her. If there was any danger waiting for them outside, like hell was he going to let Hitsu be the first one out between the two of them.

As Riyo crawled out of the little tunnel and stood up, she looked down at Mitsu's hands and tilted her head. "Food?" She asked and poked one of the grubs in Mitsu's hand. She remembered what food was. And this most certainly didn't look like food. She looked at Mitsu's face for a moment, and how proud she seemed to be, then gave off a shrug, picked one of the grubs up, and tossed it in her mouth. Her ears sorta twitched as she felt the slimy thing slide down her throat. "Nyuuuuuuuuuu...." She mumbled as she was relieved to be rid of the thing. Not what she'd call bad. But it had the distinct taste of wood and dirt... Once you got past that, it was fine... But really didn't hit the spot at all.

"Nyu!" She said as she seemed to motion for Mitsu to stay there, then leapt out into the forest.

Mitsu smiled as Riyo took one of the grubs she had brought back as if it had been a small reward of thanks. However, when Yuki gave a yelp Mitsu scooted back a little to give him room to exit. Upon offering her catch to him proudly again she felt a little dejected as he moved away like he might be sick. Had she done something wrong? Had she been bad? Ears drooped she dropped her hands with the grubs in them looking up at Yuki sadly. “Did I do bad?”

Yuki had has back to Mitsu, and to her question he gave no reply. She'd expected him to eat bugs? Is that what dogs ate? He'd always expected the feline tribe to be much better at hunting, but that was ridiculous.

When Hitsu had exited, she looked a bit confused. She looked up to Yuki as she got to her feet, and to Mitsu who stood dejected. Putting two and two together, from Yuki's position to what Mitsu was (or had been) holding, she tried her best to console her. "No Mitsu, you did good." Hitsu said, a cheerful look on her face. Whether that was forced or not was hard to tell. However, she seemed reluctant to offer any further encouragement, she really didn't want to eat them, either. At least she wouldn't be so bluntly rude about it.

Several minutes passed, Yuki being restless the entire time with constant nervous glances out into the forest each time he heard so much as a leaf rustle. On a couple of occasions, he'd tried to get them to move, convinced that they'd lingered in one spot for far too long as it was, but Hitsu wouldn't let him. Needless to say, Yuki could have had a heart attack when a giant shadow began to approach them. Eyes as wide as saucers, even when they all came to realize that Riyo was in fact carrying the creature back. Once it hit the ground, and Riyo broke its neck with nothing more than a stomp of her foot, Yuki and Hitsu both stared in shock.

"Damn..." Yuki finally grunted, though he still couldn't help but stare at her prize. "...That's impressive."

Riyo gave Mitsu a soft smile and patted her on the head. "Nyu." She looked at the rest of them for a moment and quietly gestured to the moose. "Food." She repeated what Mitsu had said earlier.

Normally, she would've dug into the moose. She had been hungry before... But the giant moose hoof to the stomach had taken care of that. Now she just hurt. Bad. With a little cringe, she quietly walked over to a tree and leaned against it. Her arms wrapped around her stomach gently. With a frown, she hunched over a little and coughed, blood splattering on the ground. A little trickle continued to leak out of her mouth. This seemed... Sorta familiar. Then again, just about everything painful had familiarity to it. She watched the blood trickle down to the ground curiously. It would eventually stop. She just had to give it time.

Neko cocked his head at Yuki’s question and walked toward the two. Kneeling down he looked Riyo over, reaching out to wipe the blood from her mouth. “Its internal. I can make something to help with the pain and possibly stop the bleeding.” Looking around, Neko tried to spot some of the stuff that he would need that he didn’t have on hand. “Be right back.” Standing to his feet he disappeared into the forest and was gone for a good five to ten minutes before returning with a hand full of what would look like weeds and flowers.

Sitting himself down by a large flat rock he placed a large leaf down first that he collected and went to work. First thing down was an Echinacea and chamomile flower to help stop the bleeding with which Neko added a few other herbs he had found to help with the pain. Grasping a dagger from the belt on his leg he began to crush the ingredients together into a fine mush with its hilt. Once he was satisfied with the general look of it, he gathered up the leaf and walked back over to Yuki and held it out for him to take. “There, you can do the honors.” He wasn’t sure how well Riyo would take medicine and thought it best for Yuki to find out instead of him.

Looking up at Riyo, Mitsu didn’t move far from the moose as she ‘nyued’ her worry. Turning her gaze to Hitsu she looked at her questioningly as if she would know if Riyo would be okay or not.
