((Combining posts and using my main account....you all know who I am by now. blaugh ))
Hee hee...lots of noise and chaos! YAY! Swooping down to hover in front of the girl again, the Gastly grinned widely while looking her over. She was definitely an amusing one, that was for sure! Trickster? Him? Perhaps...he sort of liked the idea at least. He seemed to ponder this new line of thought.

If Stunkies could purr, this one would be. Wow...no wonder the other Pokemon seemed to like being petted so much. This was nice. Her compliments were a bit much to handle though for the poor thing, and the skunk was blushing under its fur, feeling warmer than normal.

Hayden was finishing putting burn cream on the last of Samantha's wounds, noting oddly once more that her burns weren't nearly as bad as they probably should have been. She'd really lucked out. The worst spots had probably been the places where the melted plastic from her wings had dripped. Though, he could have sworn they looked worse at first glance...
Probably just the initial shock of seeing her wounds up close...that's all.
"Alright, that should do it," he muttered, still blushing a bit despite the innocent nature of his actions. He still knew how it looked.
"Thanks," Samantha muttered, torn between embarrassment...and just feeling awkward in general. The pain itself had faded enough to be classified as bearable, especially with the young woman's naturally high pain tolerance. She'd just have to be sure not to sleep on her back for a while.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Hayden inquired hesitantly. Something about this girl was still bothering him. Why did he feel like he should know her for some reason?
"Depends on the question," she answered guardedly. "But go ahead and shoot."
"Is there any reason I might know y--"
Hayden's question was cut off by the sudden arrival of a familiar Pikachu landing heavily on his shoulder. "What the..."
Samantha blinked. "Another one...?"

Arianna smirked a bit, "You would have gotten along with me when I was little. Pranksters to the core.." She whipered softly. She still liked pranks, Yes..but..being what she was...never gave her much of a chance to. "Trickster...You got me." She grined and sat up, pushing a chair away from her as she did so

The pikachu looked at the girl with the burns. They weren't so bad. They weren't so bad at all.
That was interesting. He peered squarely into the girl's face and began complaning about the lack of food remaining in the kitchen.
"Kaa pika pika kaa pikachu." The pikachu was talking directly at her, with the barest sidelong glance at the guard on whom he was perched.
"Kaa pika." He repeated, then sneezed in a cute fashion, sending a light jolt into the guard's shoulder.

Fenrir grinned at Anya. She was so nice...even the Stunky agreed. He was worried the little guy wouldn't get much attention do to his, erm, musky nature...but Anya didn't seem to mind. That was good. After all, everybody needed somebody.
"Does it matter if everyone agrees? You can't please every person out there, after all, so why try? It's impossible for everyone to agree on any on thing...but that's what makes life interesting! I think it'd be really boring if everyone agreed with each other." he explained, sneaking a candy from the bowl and unwrapping it. "An' bein' smart ain't all about book-knowledge and stuff. It's more than that. Things you can;t pick up from some old text...philosophies on life and living... Anyways, you have a good heart...you're really kind, Anya. That's the important stuff there. Because you know? All the knowledge in the world isn't worth spit if you're a jerk." he finished, nodding to himself.
He wasn't the most articulate boy, nor was he terribly focused right now- not after all the candy. But he was pretty sure he had made a point there somewhere.
He reached out to give the Rattata another pat, scritching it lightly behind the ears. Boy, did he miss his own team. He'd have to go see them after this party...try and go find the daycare. He bet they missed him too.

anya realized that the skunk pokemon was a little warmer and she looked at him puzzled. and realized that may be he was embarised by something though he looked happy being petted so she continued to pet him only to stop when she felt pain that reminded she that she was with others. The pain was from kira patting her head.
"owie." she put her hand on her head to feel the spot. "Thank you Angel but umm please do not pat my head like that it hurts." she said blushing now as she said it. then looking up anya saw that sam was ok and she called out.
"Glinda you should come over here there are so relly nice pokemon here"

Kira's eyes widened, and she placed her hands over her mouth. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, Anya. I'd completely forgotten!" Now she felt terrible again, she'd been stupid and caused Anya at the least a head ache.
She sighed and reached over, petting the Zubat again, feeling really stupid now.

Anya blushed as she rubbed her head. "it is ok just try to rember so that next time you do not do it. ok." anya smiled befor she started to stroke the skunk pokemon again.

Chuckling, the Gastly continued hovering in front of Arianna. When she was little? Why not now? Pranks were fun! Hmm...perhaps she'd forgotten what fun it could be...maybe he'd have to remind her.
That thought in mind, he zipped around her head in a couple quick circles.

It seemed that even the Rattata had limits on candy consumption. Finally, the mouse had sat back and cleaned its paws of any remaining sticky residue. This...was a good night. A good night indeed.

Glancing up in surprise at the human, the skunk seemed to frown noting her discomfort. She was...hurt? Yes, it could see that now with a more careful glance. Waddling over, the fuzzy skunk nudged her hand with his muzzle, wanting her to know that it cared too.

Meanwhile, concern and worry and...well, a mix of distressing emotions seemed to be washing off of the other human in tangible waves. Or so thought the Zubat on her shoulder. Clicking rapidly in an oddly soft manner, it brushed a wing lightly against her cheek.
Was it...trying to reassure her?!?

Unfortunately, Samantha was a bit distracted at the moment and didn't hear Anya call her from across the room. Of course, she wasn't exactly used to being called "Glinda" yet either.
Wait a minute...was that Pikachu...talking to her?!?
Not that she had any idea what he was saying, but he sure seemed adamant about speaking to her. About...whatever it was.
"I...I'm sorry...what? I don't understand..."
Hayden jumped at the sneeze and shock, alarmed by the sudden numbness in his arm. "Ow! Hey, little dude...that's not cool," he joked, privately praying that the paralyzing effects were only temporary.
Samantha couldn't help but chuckle at the little electric rat, but quickly sobered at the guard's response. "Err...you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah," he muttered, rubbing his arm with his free hand. "I've had a lot worse," he commented darkly, refusing to look up from the floor.

At this point, Quil was satisfied with sitting back and watching the congregation of people. Of course, he ignored the disapproving look the pikachu shot him as it zipped by- as if he cared about the thoughts of the little rodent. Refixing his attention towards the main group, Quil frowned in thought. The little invaders seemed to be settling in with the humans like every other pokemon he'd known, causing the Typhlosion to curl a lip in disdain. The reappearance of the Ghastly triggered a more blatant display of teeth, accompanied by a soft growl. Damn ghost.... If it came near him...
Well. Things were going to get roasty again.

The pikachu grinned to itself. The guard? He was all right. "Pikakapi." He folded his ears back and bounced off the guard's shoulder and landed right inbetween him and the girl, looking from one to the other. "Kaaaaaaa."
Then he sped off. He darted back towards the main body of people and pokemon, intrigued by the odd clothing and festive atmosphere.

Arianna laughed lightly, "Having fun? Or are you trying to make me dizzy?" She lightly teased the ghost type with a smile, showing she was joking around. She held up one hand, even though she knew she coulden't touch the spectral type Pokemon unless it truely wanted her to. She watched him with a smile...Maybe this party wasn't such a bad thing after all!

Kira blinked, feeling the wing softly brush her cheek and hearing the soft chirping. She smiled and softly scratched the Zubat behind it's ears again. "You're very sweet, Zubat...." Even though she had never had a pokemon in her possession, or even tried to capture one, she was really enjoying being with the Zubat.

feeling her hand being nuged anya looked down. "I will be ok little guy" she let her hand pet his soft fur. "it will take it a while for it to heal but if I am careful it will heal up swell." she smiled at the skunk and offered him a spot in her lap.

Grinning, the Gastly snickered again. Oh yes, he'd have to remind this one of the fun of pranks. Its mind was dead set on the matter and it wasn't going to give up until it succeeded.
As if to seal the deal, even if the human knew nothing about such an agreement, the Gastly became corporeal and opaque.
...And licked her hand.

"That...was odd," Samantha commented dryly, watching the Pikachu's retreat.
"No kidding." Sighing, Hayden rubbed his head, relieved to note that the feeling was coming back to his other arm.
"So...how's this going to work now?"
Confused, the guard looked up at the young woman. "What? How's what work?"

Blushing lightly at the compliment, the little bat seemed both flattered and embarrassed. Nuzzling closer to her neck, it tried to hide from the humans while regaining its composure.
Perhaps...this human wasn't so bad at all. He'd have to give her a chance...take longer to decide. Yeah...that...

Nodding as if it understood, the Stunky had listened carefully to Anya's explanation. Made sense...but maybe she'd have more luck with someone else to look after her. Only logical, right? Plus...it'd be nice to have someone else to look after the skunk as well...
Crawling into Anya's lap, the skunk curled up and closed its eyes, not sleeping just yet...but completely relaxed for the first time since coming to this crazy party.
Congrats Anya! You have a new companion!
