Eulalia Danae Aaron blinked a few times before saying. "Hey." "A kid..?" The man blinked, then took a few steps back. "Oh no, that one's yours."
Ignoring him, the Baroness stepped forward softly and knelt. "Hey, yourself. I'm Baroness Widow... ah, best just call me Baroness."

Very nice man, if rather stressed." Noticing his inspection, she added, "He never saw this dress, I think. I wore it to the opening of the social season some years after. I'm afraid I have lost my mask..."

Eulalia Danae Acelr "Is the best of ways..." The Knave's voice was a hoarse whisper. "...Is there anything," the Knave continued in an even smaller whisper, barely a croak and inaudible to anyone farther away than the Queen of Clubs, "you are not permitted to destroy? Any one? I will give you a show to delight, and do it with absolute impunity." (....you're practically yelling "let's kill Ruby!" rofl That's hard for her to resist too, she hates Ruby, and she hates war.) The Queen of Clubs chuckled. "If a few of the guests were to meet a tragic accident, I would be very pleased. The Goddess for one, or perhaps one of the more cheerful guests as another. Any torment would amuse me, in truth." ((And what's wrong with killing Ruby? But you know, I can never keep track of which one of these dolls is which. I keep thinking the worse-tempered is War, even though I know she isn't, and I can never remember what the fourth one called herself.)) The Knave grinned viciously. "...Yesss, the little goddess is quite a cheerful little *itch, isn't she? And the happy ones stand out so. Maybe they can taste a little darkness tonight..." The Knave tapped the spiked mace and tiptoed backwards from her and back into the crowd.

((nothings wrong with killing Ruby, I suppose it goes against general outlines of what I had planned, but honestly, it seems like none of that planned stuff is ever going to happen. The fourth one is Delirium, and the nasty tempered one is Famine.))
The queen of clubs smiled. "It would make it a good night indeed."

Xeen examined the scene, turning to his wife. "We might have somthing of an issue."
Ayx continued to search through the crowd, looking for Ora, ut also noting that there was somthing else familiar in the area, auprisingly like Ora, yet different enough from each other to keep him from getting confused.

"So what are you doing out in the maze by yourself? Hiding from your chaperone?" she asked him with a friendly smile.

She, however, decided to observe a little bit longer, rather than show herself.

The second attack came, but from the ground, as two stone hands fromed out of the cobbled stone beneath and reached for his ankles. Meanwhile a loud scream echoed from the Hedge maze as Sahira was moved away, passed along by the vines from inside the hedges.

Let's go find some fun, shall we? Don't know about you, but I'm not finding any right here."
She stood, brushed off her skirts, and held out a friendly hand each to Aaron and her companion.
