Kibo: Sort of. Saying "like-liked" isn't my style.

Storm laughed.
"If you even had to mention 'like-liked,' you've been spending too much time with my daughters. But explain, please, what 'sort of' means?"

Kibo: Maybe "half-loved" would be a better term.

"An..."
Storm serched for the word.
"Infraction?"

Kibo: An infraction? An infraction of what?

Storm seemed put out.
"How in the name of the Abyss should I know? It's you bloody language; think something up."

Kibo: I'm not sure what you mean by infraction, but half-love is a kenning. You know, two words that were joined to create a new term? Like whale-road for ocean, or ring-giver for King.

"Ne'er heard ring-giver as another word for king."
Storm folded her arms.
"Riddele me this then: how do you only half love someone?"

Kibo: How come oceans are only roads for whales? Kennings don't have to be exact. They just have to give the general idea. When you really like someone, but you don't love them, what else could it be but half-love?

Storm shrugged again, not really haveing an answer. There's a first time for everything...
"I've heard it refered to as a fancy. But besides the point. Why would you waste yourself on a corpse?"

"You just said, that if you killed me, you would follow soon enough. I was asking why waster yourself on a corpse. My corpse, if it helps."
