((yes, Alloran's always had that accent. It's not as always pronounced, but for the most part it's been there....and both of you behave unless you want Ruby after you.))

Aaron was looking at her, his eyes pleading. She gently put an arm around him and whispered that it would be okay.
"Stop it, Alloran, just stop it, an' head to Phoenix, we need to get Sahira to the base."

"Yer new to war, so I'll fill you in. Folks get busy. War ain't a time to do anything but war. You think Krohv gettin' nuked helped any?" Alloran shook his head. "Whatever, kid. It's yer business. Not mine."

And Lucidity had been invisible holding onto the back of the vehicle the entire time ninja Not really...
((Arch thought Lucidity killed the real Ruby, so he was "ROAIMANGRY"
And he wouldnt listen to Lucidity when he explained what happened))

Sahira looked up at the night sky of her homeworld, the stars were brighter, and the sky darker than earth's night sky. It was a cloak of black velvet and diamonds. She smiled and began to move towards the palace. This was going to be one difficult situation to twist, but she hoped she could do it without losing too many of her bargaining tools.

Many hours later, Sahira walked away from the palace. After threatening, pleading, begging, and making promises she never intended to keep, there was once more a semblance of peace between her and Eliath. The required punishment of betrayal still had to be doled out. Her back was burning from the lashes, and the Ilava juice, the slight poison, that kept the wounds from healing too quickly. If it hadn't been her, the punishment would have fallen to someone else, perhaps a childhood friend. Whoever he would have chosen, Eliath would have made sure they died from it.
Sahira opened a new portal, and went back to earth.
