(( xd I'm sorry Hikari calls Kaosu Mr. Garlic xd ))
::The clang of metal on metal drew her attention. Medixia looks up in time to see Kaosu easily deflect the larger sword of his...larger opponent. She heaves a sigh. At least Kaosu was quick and experienced enough to handle anything the ruffian-like man could throw out. Her eyes go wide as she notices something, and she nearly panics...only to see Kaosu stop short. She heaves a sigh of relief before she goes back to practicing her reiatsu control for her first kidou. She mumbles something about bloodying allies...::
::When she became used to the manipulation of her own reiatsu, she closes the book and leans forward. She carefully controls her reiatsu to her hands to watch the effect. The light show is interesting, but it doesn't extend very far. She'd have to directly touch a wound; at least she would at her current level. With a satisfied grin, she sits back to rest up a bit.::

(( eek Do I want to ask?
One thing, the swing Kago made was a diagonal upward swing. No need to fix. I'm sure Kaosu would have the sword eating dirt anyway. xd
Correct me if I interpretted your post wrong. I'm going off you and Medixia's posts.)) I watched as Kaosu easily deflected my heavy blade. His speed and mastery easily impressed me, but I knew I had to move fast. Instead of spinning out, I pushed my own weight into my zanpakutÅ. With the significant weight difference, I was able to realign my blade with enough time to deflect his first attack. With the weight and balance I gained with that glancing strike, I was easily able to protect my throat from his second strike.
I pushed against Kaosu's blade, so I could jump back to anylize my own position. The dings in my heavy blade were clearly evident. I gritted my teath at the shear strength the smaller man displayed. At the same time, he seemed to be going easy on me. I let out a ragged breath as I think on that. I still managed to maintain a wry smirk. "Pardon, it's just a bit of psychological warfare on my part. No insult intended." I was sure he understood that without saying anything, but his reaction.
Heaving a sigh, I slid my left foot forward. It was awkward trying to find the right angle of attack. I bit my lowerlip as I hefted my heavy blade high into the air. "Achoo!" A simple, warrior cry; though, I had heard Westerners consider that a sneeze? I rushed Kaosu while crashing my blade in a powerful downward thrust. 14 + 14 = 28 20 + 14 = 34(Auto) 12 + 12 = 24
((That's a bit...freaky.))

Kaosu smiled as he dodged, and as he came forward Kaosu watched his sword. "You know, if you were in my class, you wouldn't be too bad. Just, as it is, I've taken a lot of classes."
Jumping up, the zanpakutou grazed my sandals. "You ever tried a different style of fighting?" Kaosu asked, extending his leg as he spun, the possible contact point being Kago's face. Continuing with the spin as he fell, Kaosu aimed his weapon again for the all-familiar white belt. He was going for something harmless but still a good target.

It's not like I didn't want to take his backhanded compliment as a compliment. It's just that I understood it for what it was. Kaosu was far better trained than I. I never took kendo seriously, and I relied on a brawler mentallity while in the Rokungai - in other words, anything goes.
With that in mind, his sudden kick came as no surprise. "No. I'm too much a stick in the mud old man for that." It was a saying that you can't teach and old dog new tricks, right? I clenched my hands aground the grip of my heavy blade tighter, listening to the leather as it creaked against my flesh and watching as stray hairs brushed past my vision in the near miss.
The problem came in Kaosu's speed, especially his downward spiral. I tried to step back in time or throw up my heavy blade in defense, but he fell on me like a hawk on helpless mouse. I stepped back and could only watch his sword cleanly and elegantly sliced through the white belt. With a low growl, I caught the material before it could completely fall away.
"Good point." I flashed a wry smirk as I made a horizontal slash at Kaosu. For a normal man or blade, a single hand in kendo is not only not recommended but creates a vastly weaker strike. For some reason, neither my blade nor I suffered from this dilema. As one hand made an improvised knot to hold my belt, my other hand easily delivered a horizontal sword slice. "Though, disrobing an opponent is rather unorthadox." 5 + 14 = 19 14 + 14 = 24 13 + 12 = 25

"All is fair in love and war, old man." Kaosu retorted, landing on the ground solidly. "Besides, I use my weapon's strengths into a style all it's own. You just have to find what your sword is good at. Get stronger, faster, and that thing will devastate in blade-on-blade."
Kaosu watched the blade bear down on him, and he got an idea. Slamming his zanpakutou into the ground, Kaosu created an impenetrable wall of steel from which the horizontal strike couldn't hit. Running forward, and effectively out of the strike range, he came forward with both fists raised.
"I however, pride myself in not having a style, as much as my adopted family dislikes it." He grinned, throwing his left fist towards Kago's gut, then the second fist swung towards his chest.

If I thought I could get along with this guy before, my mind was made up by this point. It was good to have a spar with somebody who understood the finer points of a brawl. As much help as kendo was, it wasn't of much use when improvised weapons and fisticuffs were the norm, as it was in Rukongai.
My wry smirk doesn't leave my face. "You'd get along well with my adopted family." I could only scowl at his impromptu shield. I was caught off guard by the reverberations traveling through my body, and I barely wheezed out a breath through clenched teeth when Kaosu's fist met my gut.
Seeing his second punch coming, I jut my free hand in front of my chest. It acted as an effective defense as I swatted his oncoming fist away and grasped my heavy blade at the same time. The dramatic effect of the rather long pause probably wore off a while ago, but I continued anyway. "Though, I'm sure those girls wouldn't appreciate anybody stealing my time."
I knew that 'psychological attack' would be pretty meaningless, but it was fun to laugh at it in my head. With both hands firmly grasping my heavy blade's grip, I make a horizontal swing in the opposite direction, now that Kaosu's directly in front of me. Not that this nimble opponent was about to be hit so easily. 3 + 14 = 17 16 + 14 = 30 2 + 12 = 14
((These rolls are brought to you by epic fail. eek ))

"Hm. Girls around here are either empty-headed or lost in training." The blade whizzed towards Kaosu, so in response he grabbed onto Kago's head and pulled his legs up out of the way. Once the blade passed, he let gravity drag him down until he had reached the ground again.
Turning his head, Kaosu looked over at Medixia with a look of mischief. "Ain't that right, little miss study?" He waved, smiling. He just hoped to a higher power she didn't hear his first statement. He didn't want to die, yet.

::Medixia closes her book with all the authority of a bookworm, in otherwords quietly. She heard the nearly silent thud, but it didn't bother her. She gently sits the closed book in her lap and looks at Kaosu with a serene smile. Her eyes close in a gentle turn, only deepening the look of her smile. She opens her mouth but pauses...only for a second::
I guess a girl lost in a book to save bloodied allies is better than an airhead.
::She tilts her head slightly one one side, and her bangs quickly obey gravity as they slide slightly. She doesn't look, at all, like she was responding to an insult. She let her right middle and index fingers rest against the circular shape of her zanpakutou. It was sure she couldn't beat Kaosu in a head-to-head fight, but he was sure her unusual serenity would still send shivers down his spine.::

As Kaosu passed over his head, I blinked. I wasn't sure I wanted to know where his comments were going until he looked teasingly towards a girl holding a book. I blinked again with his question. I felt my vision blur as I wondered if he had a death wish or something. Her response...caused my breath to catch. It might be prudent to make a note to self. No messing with the little misses.

Saigo looks up when she hears a familiar voice directed and just loud enough for her to hear. She only heard the question, but she follows the attention to see it was the doctor, Medixia, who was the recipiant of the question. She looks puzzled at the response. She wasn't slow upstairs, but it didn't make any sense to her. She looks to Kaosu and Kago. She heaves a sigh as she releases her kunai zanpakutou and let the gears retract the wire and return it to its resting place.

Kaosu smiled back, sheathing his sword. "Hm, why would I bother learning when I know how to save them already?" Grinning even wider, he held up has hands wide, in suppliance. "But hey, you win some, you lose some, huh? Hey, I guess you win the prettiness battle. I don't have a rack or a butt for guys to fawn over."
Testing his own behind playfully, he grinned again. "Well, maybe I do, but whatever."

::The serene smile doesn't leave her face as she stands up and brushes loose grass and dirt from her shihakushou, which involves patting her own behind a bit. Medixia holds the book she was studying under her left arm as she casually takes a few steps forward. She was really quite amused. Unlike Shunketsu, Kaosu seems perfectly willing to tease right back. She barely supresses a smirk from breaking her serene smile as she looks down at her chest.::
Are they, now? Shame to hide 'em under such heavy dress.
::Unlike others, Medixia had no shame in utilizing any asset she had. Oh sure. It might not be completely fair, but it was so fun. She casually strides forward again, not really closing that much distance between them. She's interested in how Kaosu would try digging himself out of his grave and continue his little teasing spectacle.::

Kaosu shrugged, scratching at his neck. He could kind of see where that was headed, so his mind was formulating the best answer. It took him a good second or two, but it came to him finally.
"Cryin' shame, girly. I bet all the hormone-driven prepubescent guys here would really like to see something more." He smiled, for once actually getting a good look at Medixia. She didn't look too bad, to be sure...but he didn't want to chance something like that. He'd probably die.

(( eek What have I gotten myself into...?)) I gawked. Literally, slack jawed and wide eyed. Was I really hearing what I thought I was hearing?! I composed myself, furrowed my brow, and rubbed the bridge of my nose. I hadn't sheathed my heavy blade as I had completely forgotten about it. Its tip dug slightly into the ground as the arm that held it hung lazily at my side. The girl reminded me a little too much of the boss' daughters, especially the youngest one. I sighed slightly at the encroaching headache.
