acarian woke up breathing heavily, sweat dripping from his face. another nightmare that he couldnt remember. he rolled over and looked at the clock. " oh no, im late!" acarian said jumping out of bed and quickly throwing on his red garbs. he headed to the door, but stopped. "it would probally be faster if i flew," he thought to himself. he quickly ran over to the window, opened it up, and jumped out. he sprouted his wings and started flying as fast as he could through an open window at the top of the gym , where he saw students choosing weapons. he dive-bombed for the ground and pulled up, gently floating down to the ground. as he pulled his wings into his back, he saw the teacher coming over. "young man, sence it is the first day, i will let you off with a warning, but try to be on time next time, she said in a tone. i will also ask you to go over to the wall and choose a weapon of your choice." acarian walked over to the wall and grabbed a wooden katana. "well, not as heavy as the real thing, but it will do," acarian thought to himself, grabbing a helmet and armor and putting them on, waiting for further instructions.

A tingling sensation shocked along Jake's sensitive fingertips. He stirred slightly. Another brush of fur sent jolts through the young man. Shaking his head to awake himself, he looked down to see his familiar lounging on the carpeted floor - his tail swishing across his master's fingers. Well, good morning camper, joked the jet black fox.
Jake was sitting on the spacious window sill in his room in the dorm with the window thrown open to let in the cool early morning breeze. "What time is it? Do you know?"
Anko had already risen and was stretching the stiffness out of his knees, It's the time you always get up... It's six, Jake, six.
Jake shook his head again and rubbed his eyes with his hands. The boy looked around the room searching for his trunk. He trudged over, but as he bent down he asked his soulmate, "What happened to Turin? Do you know? He was just standing in the hall when I left him - not moving - last night."
No idea, I was with you, Came the reply. Jake had by now fished out a blue and white striped polo and a white undershirt, along with a pair of khaki-colored shorts. He quickly got changed and arched his back backwards so as to stretch the stiffness residing there.
Jake liked to go on walks in the morning with some music coursing through his ears; he did it most every morning at six. He knew he couldn't carry technology from the human world into Faerie, so he decided he would just go on a stress-free walk. Slowly he closed his eyes and let his feet carry him wherever they wanted. It was a feat in itself that this boy could walk around with his eyes closed, in a place he didn't know, and know exactly where he was going.
Jake had already exited the dorm silently closing the behind him so he wouldn't wake the others. His feet padded silently through the hallways, carelessly. A door opened leading the way outside onto the dew-strewn lawn. He walked, and walked, and walked. The little voice in his head sang along all the way to songs that he knew.
Suddenly without warning, the young man opened his eyes. A sort of internal clock had just gone off and Jake snapped out of his trance. He glanced around, images of his "virtual tour" rushing back to him. He was standing in front of a door on the second floor. He pushed open the door and saw an intriguing man standing at what seemed to be the front of a classroom. He wore a brown tweed jacket, had brown mousy hair, and brown floppy ears protruding out from his brown hair.
Anko led the way into the room and pranced gracefully to an open seat. A few students were already in the room, some chatting quietly the others: dead silent. Jake seemed to glide into the room and took the seat that his familiar had claimed for them. Reluctantly Jake took his seat - Anko curled up at his feet in the aisle - and he closed his eyes once more.
Pretty much in the blink of an eye, the teacher had addressed the now full classroom at large: "There are many races within Faerie, and as such, it is rather difficult to establish communication between some of them with only one language under your belt. It is my job to prepare you with a larger arsenal with which you may engage to fruitful dialog with whomever you wish. Today, we will be learning simply about the major languages spoken in the realms of Faerie, their origins, and the speech patterns unique to each of them. Well. Shall we begin?"
A few murmers fluttered around the classroom. Personally Jake loved to learn languages - that's why he signed up for Languages of Faerie - and was sitting back in his seat, with a mask of no emotion, waiting for the unique-looking teacher to continue on with his teaching.

((Hum, Promised, I'm just going to assume we went to the class together, ok? If you want to, just say so and I'll edit/delete this post.))
Anne sat by Asako's side, looking around curiously at the other students. The class was full of many people from many different species. It was still disturbing to the girl from the Human Realm. Then, a boy caught her eye; he entered the room like he had stumbled on to it, and looked at the teacher for a while before sitting down. She admired his looks, and his human outfit. Nudging Asako slightly, she whispered: "I guess there may be interesting boys here after all..." And with an accomplice look at her friend she sat straight and heard the Professor's introduction. She was eager to know more about Faerie, about it's culture and people and languages.

((^^; I was just a bit too late, ne, Selphie? Ah, well, school's a b***h like that. Your post is fine, I'm just going to fill in the back-story on Asako's side.))
Asako woke up disoriented. She did not remember having fallen asleep, though she had been having a rather pleasant dream about working in a sandwich shop with Anne. Worse than that, she found that she was still in her clothing from yesterday. "Oh, s**t!" she cursed softly to herself, hurrying to change and get ready.
Throwing off her old, wrinkled clothing from yesterday, she pulled on an orange miniskirt patterned with yellow lilies, a bright orange t-shirt, thigh-socks in yellow, and orange peep-toe heels. She ran out of the room, running a brush through her bushy red hair, tail bushing out even more than normal, ears flat on her head.
Running out into the main room, she saw Anne waiting for her. Quickly picking up an apple from the table, she ran up to her roommate. "Sorry I'm late!" she said, voice strained from agitation. "Come on, let's go!"
In class, Asako wished she hadn't have hurried to be on time. The teacher (Mr. Brown, she noted with a snigger, eyeing his tweed jacket) was just tremendously dull. She knew this was going to be an awful class, but this teacher was just too much.
Something, however, seemed to have caught Anne's eye. Asako followed the human's gaze and saw -to her delight- that a boy was on the receiving end of the attention. Asako did a little mental jig, ears perking and tail swishing with glee. Hearing Anne's remark only made her more excited. "I guess there is..." she said quickly, all but cackling to herself.
((Nn...just for the sake of being absolutely clear, Selphie, who is Anne referring to? I think I know--just want to be sure, though.))

Allison sluggishly walked into Horseback Riding. "G'mornin" She said to no one in particular. She shook her head when the teacher asked if there were any question. She hated mornings on Earth, but maybe the Fairy Realm would be more interesting in the mornings.

((Well, Jake, of course! I didn't state it because Anne doesn't know him yet...but he's the only boy in class with us, right? From the RPers, I mean))
Even while taking notes of the Professor's speech, Anne smiled mischievously at her friend's reaction. She knew Asako found the class boring; even to her, Mr. Brown lacked...charisma. The subject was interesting enough to keep her focused, but the teacher left plenty of time for her to joke around a bit. And she did, silently, watching the boy who sat still, eyes closed, and using the old method of discreet scribbles on the notebook's margin to communicate with Asako, while Cassio stared at her with a rigid, 'you're misbehaving' look she chose to ignore. School was even better than she had thought.

Mori grumbled. The boy wasn't a morning person, as he clearly displayed as he rolled out of bed, hitting his head on a hard, hollow object. He yelped, now fully awakened. It was a doll-shaped thing with fake green hair, about two feet tall and covered in a shawl of black and white. Mori stared at it stupidly for a few seconds before picking himself up, and walking zombie-like to the bathroom. After ten minutes of preparation(Brushing his teeth, putting on mildly clean clothes, ect.), Mori walked out of his dorm room, shouldering a messenger bag. It had a slight bulge in its side.
Mori's first class was swordplay. He looked up at the gym building. It was... vast. Upon entering, Mori contemplated the discipline he'd follow. Probably bushido. But, there were still others he didn't know about that he'd be surely interested in.

Tea-leaves; boring. Crystal ball; better. Scrying; now we're getting somewhere. Dream Prophesying; bingo. Rhm had been listening aptly as the Lady explained the different divination methods. Her voice was melodious and Rhm liked her, but tea-leaves? Come on, give me a break.
But now she began to talk about dreams and Rhm sat straight up. As she talked, Rhm became more and more sure he had Sight. When Pan and him had been on the road, every couple of nights he would have very vivid dreams, where he was a part of it and watching it at the same time. He nearly always remembered them, and the scary thing that he found out was that they mostly came true.
Rhm dragged himself out of his past and listened to Lady Oceana again. She was talking about stars and astrology or something. It was kind of interesting, but none of it was hands-on and Rhm quickly found himself daydreaming.

Tristelle watched as the gym rapidly filled with students. She shifted her helmet to an easier holding position, not quite ready to put it on. She watched as the teacher explained the pros and cons of different weapons with little interest. A few friendlier girls and boys tried talking to her, but she pushed them away, taking in the fact that most of them were human. She wished she would have brought Pippin and Nisa along, but doubted the teachers would allow pets. She looked down at the spear she had chosen and tilted her head slightly to the side. She knew she'd have to get a shield later. If she was ever up against some one with a short ranged weapon, and they got too close, it wouldn't be good. She looked around the gym once more. The commotion reminded her of gym class back on the earth realm. Organized, but still hectic.

acarian walked up to the teacher and asked"i would love to fight someone now, if there are any volenterrs." acarian said to the gym teacher. the gym teachers face lit up. "that would be good for students who have never touched a weapon," she said." she asked the crowd, "is there anyone out there who would be willing to fight acarian as a deminstration?" she asked the crowd, waiting for a responce.

Tristelle smiled at the thought, but quickly looked down. There was no way she'd get up in front of the entire class. That was too much attention she didn't need. She knew she'd have to eventually, but not quite yet. She looked to the boy who had requested the idea, but quickly looked away. A human. A human that smelled amazing. Brilliant.
"No one?" Ms. Deltacroix asked, clearly disappointed. "Oh well." She said reluctantly, waving her hand dismissively. "It is early. Perhaps after a few weeks of training there will be a few confident ones who will give it a try." She said, flashing an encouraging smile to Acarian.
(( Hey Sword? It's ok if we control the teachers, right? ))

Mori just noticed what the teacher had been saying as she retracted her offer. "Ooh!" he said, waving his hand like a child. "I'd like to volunteer. If... if the offer's still there." He sat silently, waiting for a response. It was an impulsive thing of him to do, volunteering so immediately after barely catching the teacher's sentence.

"oh, it appears we have a volenteer acarian," she said as he was walking away. he stopped and looked around for the one who vloenteered. he saw a boy with brown hair, looking very eager to duel. acarian smiled and walked over to one side of the arena, stopped, turned around and increased his muscle mass using his dragon powers only enough so that one with hightened sences could tell. he then waited quietly for his opponet.

Mori pulled out a dagger-lookin' thing, almost rectangular in shape. It was about two feet from the end of the hilt to the edge of the blade, and the part of the dagger facing him curved slightly upward, making the blade's edge span out more than a normal one. He bared it, eyes glinting. He grinned a cheerful, uncompetitive grin. "Right then. He said, shoving his bag aside. "This'll help me get a better feel for the blade."
