"How can you tell?" Frodo inquired, looking up at her.
"You can't sense it?" she asked him. "Oh right, Hobbits have no magic in them. Their halflings. Sorry. It's Elven magic, to keep unwanted visitors away from their home.
Frodo ignored her short notice about his race and instead continued on the topic at hand.
"Well is there a way you can disable this Elven magic?"
She smiled down at him cooly, her eyes blank. "I could but I doubt very much that taking down their barrier would make me welcome." She released her grip on him and sat down. "No we should just wait until someone comes this way. If you like make some noise. We can still be heard we just can't cross." She paused. "Of course you could attract unwanted attention. Chose your liking."
Frodo thought silently for a few moments then cupped his hands around his mouth.
"Oi! Over here! Anyone!" He shouted loudly, his voice echoing out around them. "Can anyone hear me?"

Aragon drew his sword and charged straight into the Uruks slaughtering 2 in one stroke and impaling a warg and its rider on his blade"Legolas,cover me!"He yelled while slashing 4 orks dead

"All right!" He sadi shooting down a warg rider. He pulled out his swords and slashed at two orks. He then heard Frodo's calls.

hulachowdown Now's my chance she thought getting up ingnoring the stabbing pain in her legs and quietly sneaking away from the scene. One more step and she could run for it but...of course something had to go wrong. RIght before she took that step she fell down even though she strained not to . It felt like someone or something had shoved a white hot poker in her leg. FIghting hard to keep a cry of agony in she panted staring at the floor too much in pain to do anything else. DO not let that girl leave roared a voice from above them. ((grrrrr just becuase I am gone doesn't mean you can ignore me!!!))

Emma folowed them, cutting down wargs and their riders with simple slashes from her daggers. She wanted this over with, so she pulled her quarterstaff back into an attack position and began attacking again.

Legolas cut down the last of the war party.
"I hear Frodo!" He yelled to the others. He ran toward the source of the cries.

Emma stopped. "I hear him to," she said. She looked at Legolas and Aragorn. "I'm going to check the forest for anymore orcs. Stay close by."

Frodo sighed, plopping down on the ground next to the Demon who had sat down previously, watching him with a mild, yet bored, expression of slight amusement on her face.
"I give up for now," he mumbled hoarsely.
She shrugged, still watching him. She found him interesting; not like most Hobbits. Of course she had her reasons for seeking him out, not that they needed to know that.

Legolas ran up to the edge of the barrier.
"Thank Elrond, your ok!" He yelled. He took down the barrier temporaraly and let them inside, in which it was instantly put back up.

She looked towards Legolas as he let the barrier drop and she rose, drifting over to the other side with Frodo beside her, walking, almost running to get over into the haven. She grinned every so slightly. This was truly amusing for the time being.
"You heard me?!" Frodo cried in happiness and disbelief. He laughed. "I thought I wasn't loud enough. Oh thank goodness!"

"I heard you too. Boy, you got some lungs on you," Emma said with a smile. "I don't believe I have formally introduced myself. I'm Emma," she said. Well, this is awkward... she thought.

"Come on, we have to get back to Rivendale." Legolas told them. "And who is this with you?" Legolas asked, gesturing toward the person in the cloak.

Frodo laughed at Emma and nodded. "Yes, hello. My name's Frodo." He then turned to his companion and gestured to her. "This would be my partner, ah...she's with me." He smiled awkwardly. Yeah that was the stupidest thing I could have said.
