Personally, I don't like it that she gets so much cold hard cash for absolutly no work. What ever happened to equivalent exchange? To recieve you must work for it first? What the hell man? But that's just me talking. ninja

Use said equivalent exchange which refers to alchemy and you said she was getting money without equivalent exchange implies the philosopher's stone which dosen't use equivalent exchange

Waitressing is harder than it looks, especially for someone like me who HATES to watch other people eat. Not only that, but as it may not be physically draining, it's emotionally and mentally stressful. You're getting paid to make people happy, which is hard sometimes. Plus, people are mean and disgusting. They demand things, they snap their fingers, they whistle, they do lots of annoying things. Not only that, but people are extremely rude. They talk with their mouths full, they don't answer you, they talk waaaaay to quietly, they treat you like a 'typical' waitress - some poor girl who dropped out and has to make a living - which doesn't demand any sort of respect. When you're a waitress, everything that goes wrong or isn't amazingly perfect is YOUR fault, no matter what. I'm the one that gets yelled at if something isn't cooked right, there's lipstick on their coffee mug, or if they're table is missing creamers.
As for making my own dresses, it's a whole lot cheaper to do so. I would rather make a dress for thirty dollars that fits me perfectly in every way instead of paying twice that for a dress that every other girl in the county could buy.
So there xp

Try being a female lifeguard at a miltary base. The only upside is we get to watch the cadets learn how to swim. twisted Some suck...amazingly well... And wow Sham Double Kudos on the rant. I have a cousin who WAS a waitress and she told me some of the REALLY nasty stuff that poeple tried on her.(She worked at a gas station restaurant can you IMAGINE the truckers stare neutral ewww) If it makes you feel any better I have total respect for all waitresses (Male and female) Everywhere.

Thanks guys, except now I feel bad... I guess that's just my personality talking. But, it doesn't help that waitressing is extremely repetative, which absolutely kills my over-active mind. Still, I think I'd rather be waitressing than either lifeguarding OR cashiering. Eeps and applause for both you guys eek
