"Neural linked..." Well, that sure was a rather new word for him. He vaguely remembered the neuro part being some sort of relating to the nerves in science class, but that was just about it. It was a rather strange feeling getting your brain poked about by a macchine for the machine to sense what you wanted, and it was even stranger oon how it wasn't only concentrating on his head. This Shift prototype's cockpit seemed to have made straps all over his body, and thus making that tingling feeling tenfold, making it somewhat sickening to the stomach. Hs face turned pale at the thought, but he managed to shake it off. 'Still... Back then, when I was in space, there was this strange sensation that was applied behind me and when I turned, I came to realize that a mobile suit was getting closer to me. That sure was weird.' Ray didn't bother talking to Ellzam about all those, and merely watched as Deane got all excited about commencing battle. 'What's so exciting about having to fight? Is it really a must, and a want, to kill?' Ray sighed and walked away, saying, "I'll go get on the Shift. Thanks, Elzam," he turned his head to look back, and with a quicksmile dashed, or rather flew, towards a nearby seemingly red mobile suit (the Alteisen). When he came by the cockpit, he felt someone already there, and the mobile suit was already running! Even more astounding was its shape. It looked slightly ooff from his vague impression of the Shift before. "Hello?" he tapped on the metal doorway, "Anybody there?" Once again, he felt rather pathetic at what eh was dooing, being relatively young and all naive already.

Elzam nodded, and said, "Good Luck, Ray." Elzam then turned to the Huckebein Mrk III, and said, "He'll need it... Ready to go, Trombe?" He then jumped into the cockpit, and prepared the mobile suit for launch... "Hey, Rick, I have a few questions..." Elzam asked. Rick turned, and said, "Yah, Elzam? Er, I mean, Captain?" Elzam chuckled slightly, "Were the engineers able to outfit Trombe with IT?" Rick shook his head, and said, "No, Cap, they did a few tests... and, if they did outfit IT onto your Huckebein, you wouldn't be able to use IT without destroying it."

Elzam was quiet for a moment, and then continued, "Hm... have you recived any reports on the EAF's so-called... super mech?" Rick laughed hartily, and said, "Naw, Cap, I think ya'd be the first to hear it." Elzam chuckled slightly, "Very true, Rick. Very true."

((Sorry for not replying guys. There was some urgent chore I had to do, and I wouldn't want to have to log off and turn the laptop off, only to come back about 45 mins later, and I wasn't able to say brb. stare I feel very irresponsible as an RPer now...))

"W-wah..." he looked unto the shadows of where his finger was pointing at, and indeed, among the mobile suits that stood out, was the Shift. He scratched his head as he was about to apologize when the hatch closed, then it opened again, and Ray stepped out just as the pilot asked him, feeling rather queasy at how the stranger knew his name. Just as he was about to float away, he immediately grabbed hold of a handle to the cockpit's doorway, still quite afraid of falling. He gulped as he held unto the mech's armor, slowly making his way around it and jumping from one robot to another, until he finally arrived at the faqmiliarly red mobile suit. His deep sigh echoed through the wide enclosed hanger, and searced the pocket of his odd red and black suit for the key he recieved from Deane earlier on. Finding it, he searched for the small hole that he inserted the key before. Finally finding it, he was able to open the hatch and enter into th cockpit. The inner door closed in on him from the bottom up, and he then heard the hssing sound that notified him that the outer door had closed as well, making the GUNDAM's interior pressurized.

Robert looked around. Most of his people were here, and they simply couldn't wait any longer. "Alright men. We're attacking the assault carrier Kurogane. Primary objective is to contain the ship and confirm the location of the Gundam prototype, Shift. They may choose to send the Shift into battle. If they do so, we have been given permission to destroy it to stop it from falling into enemy hands. Secondary objective is the Gundam Strike, which will almost certainly be put in the battle. Is everyone clear on these points?" There was a general nodding of heads. "Good. To your stations!"

The men rushed to get out of the room, a few of them yelling boisterously to each other. Robet walked slowly behind them, savoring it. He reached hanger three in no time and went through the familiar rituals of decompression and floating over to his Suit. The moment he sat in the seat the seven point harness attached and his custom screens slid down. A quick diagnostic check showed everything in working order and his weapons fully loaded. He spoke into the secure line to his team. "Robert Kinomoto, 03. Roll call, everybody."

Deane thanked Elzam then boarded his gundam. He then went through the normal start up proceedures and then he tested moving it was perfect. He had come up with a brilliant stragety for this battle and he wouldnt dissappoint again. "Strike gundam ready on your orders Capitan."

Kyosuke, still waiting for launch orders, had played these games, in this order. Megaman X6, Perfect Dark, Doom (one of his favorites) And Crash Bandicoot 3. As his hih scores continued to toll up, he still wasn't given his launch orders. He pulled out his revolvers again, and began twirling them around. Since he was using the manual controls to do this, he was a little bad at it. When he flipped up a small metal plate on his arm rest, a button raised itself up. He hit the button. As a small, Non-reale helmet lowered onto his head, he hit the button again. He was thrown through what felt like a tornado of neon colors, and his vision was the same as what was on his screen before he used the helmet. He lifted his arm. He could feel the arm-rest still, but his arm lifted nontheless. He twirled his revovlers a few more times, but this time, with more precision. He continued to wait for orders, when someone banged on the door again. Not Ray again.... It wasn't. A Kurogane mechanic was banging to check who was in the mech. When Kyosuke turned his head towards the worker, he gasped, and quickly ran off. Still, no one gave him any orders. He then turned his head to Elzam's Mech. "Captain, this is Kyo. Can I launch to to take a scouting round and see what were up against?" Kyosuke said over the radio. He just really wanted to get out.

emyr had gotten in his gundam. The harness locked and the computer turned on. a voice said " welcome pilot." Alex pressed a button and checked everything. Making sure all his weapons were working and such. He then heard instructions to launch. He was glad they got to see some action. The locks were disengaged as the hydraliycs released. He sent power to his thrusters as he got on roberts right. He went full speed. He had his machine gun ready to begin firing.

(That video you showed.... I took my character straight from that series, and I didn't sse him in there anywhere...) "YES!!!!!" Kyosuke shouted as he launched at full speed. He flew straight beside the Trombe, RevolverStake ready, boosters creating a trail of blue particles behind. C'mon... Bring 'em to me....
