*Why are you going to cry?* Silver said, rubbing her neck against Sol's yellow cheek. *We all know that of course Soviless has a better chance of escaping than my Rider.*
She closed her eyes for a moment, still trying to detect a wisp of thought that she could connect with Shaydra.

Shaydra gave up trying to think. It was hurting her drug-blurred mind. She snapped to attention as Ro'oc tumbled out and Laii'dor strode in, switching guard.
As Laii'dor entered, Shaydra could almost feel in the dark a smile curving his elven lips. "Arget Evarinya." He boomed. "Force your dragon here." Shaydra struggled to resist, but the power of the ancient language was great.

Miles away, Silver stiffened. Lai'dor's power over Shaydra was taking hold on herself. Silver strove to throw off the magic that was wrapping around her, but she had to compell.
Mechanically, she ignored the others' babbling and lifted into flight toward the east - toward Shaydra.

If anyone's going to get close to where Silver is, its going to be me.
She's not talking to me an iron hard barriar is around her mind. said wydra returning from trying to talk with Silver Whats going on its not like her to just run off. Thats Sol's job. WAIT what if they figured out her real name? asked sureana stopping. What if its a trap? wydra immeadatly told solviss.

Soviless felt sureana touching his mind and smiled " about time it happened "soviless said as made a link with sol. your right above him go now soviless said too sol as he burst through the ground landing on top of ro'oc clawing at his thigh. Soviless got out of the cell and ran down the hall and found the room shadrya was being kept in. Soviless bursted into the room with sword drawn " nice try but you miss calculated , and now you've fallen into my trap " Soviless said with his sword at lai'dors neck.

((Umm, that didn't happen quite the way I intended it to be, but...ok!))
Silver, still controlled by the power Shaydra's magical name held over her, burst into the room after Soviless. Shaydra groaned, tried talking with all of them with her mind, and when that didn't work she struggled up to her knees to watch to proceedings blearily.
Suddenly, a ward was activated as Soviless pointed his sword at Laii'dor's neck. The spell held Soviless and Sol immobile in a viselike grip. Ro'oc stormed in, magic playing around his stomach as Laii'dor assisted him in healing.
"But you've forgotten about my traps," Laii'dor grinned brightly. "Silver is at my command, Shaydra is too weak to stand, you are immobile, and even right now your other friends are being blocked out by my new barrier, unable to get in. What can you do?" He spread his arms.

"Nothing really now that all of the traps have been sprun there isn't really anything that can happen now besides kill you, and with you your dragon." said sureana causally stepping out from the dark.

Silver, with her eyes blank and still being controlled, stepped in front of Ro'oc and Laii'dor. *We control her, and if you make a single gash on her, Laii'dor's created a spell so this dragon - Silver, right? - will die instantly,* Ro'oc said to Sureana, ecstatic.

Laii'dor raised an eyebrow. "Where is your dragon?" He replied simply but forcefully.

Both of the abducters were confunded. What was with Sureana? From Shaydra's mind, the Rider had appeared quite sensible; now, she was acting strange. Ro'oc tensed, thinking that the dragon, Wyrda, could be sneaking up on them.
Behind them, unnoticed, Shaydra sat up a little higher as the mind-slowing drug stated to clear up from her clouded mind. She blinked and started shaking her head slowly at Sureana. Shaydra hoped that Sureana would be able to stall them until her mind cleared entirely, as they couldn't afford mistakes.

Shaydra sat up a lttle straighter as her mind cleared. She stood up quietly behind the two foes as their attention was drawn to Sureana's pocket. Shaydra unsheathed her sword and tried contacting Silver again. No result.
Silver blinked. A little feeling was coming back into her mind, but she still couldn't regain control of her own body. She tried contacting Shaydra, but felt nothing. If only there was a distraction of some sort that would draw Ro'oc and Laii'dor away...
