Jacob was on the floor in his room. He didn't want to lay on his bed. he was enjoying the cool air and hard floor when he felt the knot in his stomach form as he heard Liv's voice on the other side of his door. He'd been semi content in just staying there for the rest of his few days eh was certain he had left before the earl came to finish him off. At least that'd be alright...he wouldn't have to deal with the things like his feelings for addie, or hurting people like liv anymore. 'tell her to go away' jacob thought to isaiah, who responded with a prompt no. '******** you...' he thought to his brother. "GO AWAY LIV!" he shouted to her, still not moving from the floor.
Isaiah looked to liv with an 'i told you he is being difficult' face. "....i can break the door in....or melt the lock...but it won't do any good if he won't listen to reason...." he tried to explain

After checking the damages to the building, Kiah had gone back to the kitchen to find the two Exorcists gone. She did her usual potions check in the cupboards, sure Komui wouldn't have time to throw anything in his new hiding place but still not taking any chances. When she noticed the lack of food she was torn between going into town or staying and making sure nothing horrible happened. She did have something to pick up, but at the same time she should be watching over Lavi... But the Head Nurse was probably still watching out for her so she could interrogate her... Kiah ended up pacing around the hallway, not quite sure what to do and probably looking like a lunatic.

The sudden strike of the tone in his voice put her on edge, and Sil quickly realized she had said too much in the moment. Believing that there was a good chance she may not be seeing Cross again she had allowed her words to flow too loosely. "It... It's not important," Sil said hastily, her lips pressing together tightly. She made a quick attempt to let the moment pass, sweeping it gently under the rug where it belonged. "I just... I'm glad you're safe, is all."

Liv just smiled at Isaiah, "That's okay..I can handle it."
"Jacob, darling...will you please come talk to me? Why don't you want to talk to me?" she crossed her arms.

Jacob rolled over onto his side, turning to face away from the door. "...JUST GO AWAY!" he called out to her. He'd hit her the other day in a fit of rage....she'd seen him almost kill a man. She would be pissed if she knew what he'd been thinking about lately too...she'd try to talk him out of it. The split second of doubt gave isaiah an opening, and as soon as jacob realized what he'd let his brother see he cursed himself.
"! YOU IDIOT!!" the dark haired boy shouted suddenly and he banged on the door. he looked to liv, clearly upset by something she hadn't seen. "he is planning to let the earl kill him!" he explained in a panic. "JACOB!! OPEN THIS DOOR!!" he demanded and pounded on it again.
"just go the ******** away....it doesn't matter anymore....i can just disappear now...i deserve it....the things i said to her...the things i did...what i was going to do.... i'm not cut out to be a noah anyway...i never wanted this..."

"Decchi," Cross stood up then, turning way from Claire, "I'm glad you're safe too, more than you can know...but it is important, you know that I can hear it in your tone."
Cross clenched his jaw a little and waited for her response. He knew her well, and knew that whatever she was about to tell him was probably something he didn't really want to hear. His heart felt a little tight as he braced himself.

Liv jumped a little when Isaiah started to yell through the door. She sighed and waited for him to finish, before speaking to Jacob again, "Please....please just let me talk to you before you go doing all that...please, sweetheart..." she pleaded through the door.
"At least let me say goodbye," she added, hoping that Jacob would think she wasn't going to try and talk him out of it, even though he should know full well that she would.

Something told Mizaka that Eira wasn't telling the whole truth, but she decided not to bother with it for now. She looked at her cautiously when the Spirit began circling around them.
"Hmm...interesting. You need not worry about Lavi. Or Sil, for that matter. They are both recovering after the attack." Mizaka fixed her gaze on Eira once again when she was asked if she and Jack were Exorcists.
"No. I am a Master, which is something quite different. One becomes an Exorcist when an Innocence chooses that person. One has to be born a Master. Nothing chooses you to be a Master, nor is there a book that teaches you how to be one. It's all about genetics. Also, we don't hunt Akuma; we hunt Spirits who have escaped from Hell. We can also form bonds with them, like how I formed a bond with Jack."
"It's true," Jack grinned. "I am a Spirit just like you, my dear lady." To demonstrate, he slid into the shadows and disappeared, then reappeared right behind Eira. Something suddenly occurred to Mizaka; if Sil could form a bond with a Spirit, then that must mean she was a Master as well.
"Interesting..." mused Mizaka. "A Master that's also an Exorcist..."

Jacob curled his knees up to his chest as he lay on his side on the floor. "...no i don't want to....that'll just make me change my mind...." he said quietly, probably too quietly to be heard, but he figured isaiah would tell her anyway, and he was right.
After repeating Jacob's words to her, izzy grew irate with his brother. "....fine...if he wants to throw his life away let him...who needs him anyway..." he asked angrily. He melted the door handle and the lock and sotrmed off to hsi own room, leaving the door so liv could try to talk to Jacob anyway while he went off to prepare for the mission tonight, even if he was going in alone.

Sil's chest tightened with dread, the weight of the secret she had been carrying so long now weighing down so heavily upon her for so long. However, no matter how many times she wondered if she shouldn't have ended things with him, the arrows always blatantly pointed her in directions that told her that she had done the right thing in the end.
"I... clouded your judgement, Cross," she said finally, her voice soft and weak and she leaned back gingerly to lay on her bed. A few feet away from her, on her night stand, sat two things: the music box that Lavi had given her on Christmas, and the box that held the engagement ring that had once been on her left ring finger. "It's been like that since the incident, in Germany. When we first started seeing each other, I knew where we stood, that I would never mean much to you... but... things changed... and..." We fell in love... Real love. The words wouldn't come out of her lips; they were not words that could belong to Cross any longer. "Ever since then they've been using me as a tool to get to you, and I knew... if we kept up what we were doing... that it was only a matter of time until I would get you killed."
She knew that of all times, she should have been crying now. Telling him the truth was a hard thing, but nearly three months had passed and they were moving on; her cheeks stayed dry though dread soaked through her to the core. "I know you would fight me on it, that you would throw all this crap about how you would protect me, but you can't protect me all the time and you shouldn't have to. I'm an Exorcist for Christs sake," Sil chewed her lip a little, frustration in her voice. "I'm not strong enough, and maybe one day I will be, but... this is the way it has to be. If this little attack taught them anything, its that even if they try to use me it won't lure you in and that was exactly what I wanted. I'm not clouding your judgement anymore."

Liv opened the door slowly and peeked around it with a little smile, "Can I come in?" she asked and then mocked Jacob's voice, "Why yes of course!" she turned back to her own voice, "Oh thaaaank you, Jacob~"
Liv giggled to herself and sat on the floor behind Jacob, folding her arms in her lap and waiting for him to say something.

Jacob flinched when he heard Liv open the door and welcome herself in the room. he sat there brooding for a long while before finally caving in. "...what do you want?" he asked, knowing full and well what she wanted, but being too stubborn for anything at the moment. "...i'm not changing my mind...so you might as well just go away...isaiah can have a new bonds brother who isn't so unmanageable...and the noahs will have someone who isn't as hot headed as i am.... then i won't have to kill any of my friends... i won't have to fight the exorcists...or the noahs... I can just disappear and not have to worry about things like that anymore...and then i won't have to worry about nightmares anymore either....so...just leave me alone..." he said quietly, though he assumed she wouldn't since she was just as stubborn as he was sometimes.

Eira's eyes widened a little, having no idea that such a thing existed to begin with. If she were able to feel it, a shiver would have slid down her neck at the idea of other humans being able to bond with her. "Is there a way to break the bond, though...? If it's true, that Silvia is also a "Master" as you say..."
