I was enjoying the discussion, since unlike a lot of people, you're completely civil even though we disagree completely. But I don't want you to be upset, and I don't get the impression you're very comfortable (if only because the song makes you really mad). ^^ So it's up to you.
I don't mind at all that we see this from opposite angles. =D
Sanzo: To be fair, Lin and I live in very different places, and while the gay community is largely accepted here in Canada, the gay community in most of the US is still fighting to be recognized as equal to the heterosexual community. Society's perception of queer culture can either be a major help or a hindrance in that fight, so I can see why a lot of people, Lin included, would be upset about what the song implies.
When your rights are in question, it's hard not to take the issue very seriously.
