((Oh snap o: I hope I won't miss too much until my internet is back, which could be a while longer... it's been 15 hours already. I have a feeling something more is wrong than usual and we'll be without internet for a while... I really hope not, but I never have any luck so I bet it'll be down for another day, at least... ): DON'T DIE IN THE MEANTIME LIV!))

Liv blocked the strike to her side with her arm, and gritted her teeth each time she was sliced. She let out a small squeal when she was kicked, throwing her arms out to catch herself. She hit the ground hard, and with a whimper. Her body trembled lightly, and she tried to raise herself up, but the wind had been knocked from her, and she was breathing shallowly. She closed her eyes tight, hearing the swish of Jacob's blade swinging towards her- but then it stopped.
Liv turned to look upwards and saw a young man she had never seen before, standing in front of her. He had a sword that matched Jacob's, but it was blue. He had blocked the blow, and was defending her. She gathered her breath as they spoke to each other. Liv realized who the young man was soon, though she had never actually seen him, only heard of him. When Jacob fell, returning to his normal form, she compulsively twitched her hand towards him, but then let it flop back to the ground.
Lifting her torso from the ground on still slightly shaky arms, she looked up at Isaiah, "Thank you..." she said quietly, barely above a whisper.
The thank you was for saving her, but also so much more. She had heard the things he said, how a lot of the family would be upset if something had happened to her. She smiled a little at the thought, hoping that it was really true. The thought was quickly pushed from her mind though as she looked at all her cuts and burns. The adrenaline from before had made the pain less, but now that it was receding, the pain was coming in full force.

Isaiah let out a sigh of relief as Jacob fell to the ground in a slump of unconsciousness. He turned to liv as she began to speak to him, but watched the pain washing over her face. "hold still..." he instructed her. He held his hand out to her arm and a small soft purple flame began to glow from his hands, without him needing to light a lighter first. the fire was cooling and gentle...it was jacob's freezing fire, but more controlled. "that should help for now...come on...let's get you and this idiot back to the mansion...i'll be able to wrap those wounds up for you...and maybe even heal some with a new flame i've been working on" he offered. He stood and offered her his hand. "...we've never actually had the pleasure of meeting before...but i'm isaiah....i'm the other bonds twin...jacob's noah brother" he introduced himself as he pulled her to her feet. He picked jacob up and slung him over his back, carrying him as he started to walk with Liv, away from the order and towards the mansion.
"...I don't know if you realize how much you affect my brother..." he said quietly once they were a bit away from the order. "he doesn't have control like I do...but he tries....he tried tonight too....but...something you said triggered him...and he gave up again....I can sense his thoughts like that...when he is out of control... i can get into his head sometimes too...see his memories...see his emotions...now and again i can even take him over..." he explained as they trekked on

Liv held perfectly still as Isaiah worked his magic. Her eyes lit with the reflection of the flame, and her mouth opened a little in awe; She hadn't see it controlled like that before. She shut her mouth quickly, not wanting to look like a complete idiot.
"That you...again, really, " she said earnestly, taking his offered hand and getting up.
She followed him closely, looking from him, to Jacob, and back, constantly. She looked to the ground when Isaiah mentioned how much she affected Jacob, her guilt really kicking in. She had in fact said some things that could have been taken badly by Jacob.
"I didn't mean to...," she said quietly, willing her eyes not to water, "I didn't...I said something bad...but it wasn't meant for him," she couldn't control her tears and they leaked from her eyes silently.
"Wait-....you can...see his memories? You must know a lot about him...," she looked up at him again with her tear-stained cheeks.

Isaiah glanced over at Liv and saw she'd been crying. He reached a hand out and wiped her tears away. "...stop that...if he wakes up and sees you crying he'll think it is his fault...." he offered and gave a small weak smile to the woman beside him. "as for knowing jacob....that depends on what you consider knowing him....he is a self centered arrogant p***k who thinks about how to get in a girls skirt 6 out of every 10 minutes....but he has a more complex side to him as well....those secrets...he has become very good at hiding...but i know some things...at least the surface of some things.....why...what...do you know?" he asked her warily before they continued walking again

Liv smiled a little at the kind gesture, sniffling a little and pulling herself together, "I know he will...but it isn't, it really isn't."
She laughed when he described the arrogant side of Jacob, and then nodded when he mentioned how Jacob is also complex, "He has...but he's told me some things, even if he was slightly unwilling to do so. I...shouldn't tell anyone. But you are his other half...and anyway, you probably know more than me," she laughed a bit again.
"I know about Jenna...and how she really hurt him...it really pisses me the ******** off, you know that?" she frowned and shook her head, "I know that she pretended to love him, and led him on...and then just ended up trashing his heart, ruining him, screwing over any chance for him to be happy," there was an obvious sound of disgust in Liv's voice at the thought.
She dropped behind a little to look at Jacob hanging there on Isaiah's back. She took advantage of his passed out state to gently stroke his hair with a little sigh, before falling in line with Isaiah again.
"That's all I really want...for him to be happy. Everyone deserves that...and so often, it seems the people I care about...they can't have that chance."

Izzy let out a long sigh as he nodded his head. He glanced over at liv again, "...there...is a lot more to that story though...to jenna's involvement in Jacob's life...for a while there...he was happy...in the beginning... but jenna used jacob in more than one way....Jacob talks big when he fights...but...the things jenna did to him affected him...more than he cares to admit.... just think about this...there is a reason jacob will only sleep with someone who is willing....and he never really forces someone into it...." he offered...leaving it open ended for liv to piece together on her own.
"...she..also got pregnant...i see it in his nightmares....some piece of work that girl was... she got pregnant...and then killed the baby....blamed him for it...and continued to use him...it took until a short while before his noah woke up for him to get out of her grasp finally....." he explained to her.
"...you though....he had good feelings when he was with you...he felt comforted....relieved....almost as happy as he feels when he's around addie..."

Liv covered her mouth when she heard the whole truth about Jenna. She had no idea, and it really hurt her to hear it. It hurt her to know that something that terrible had been done to Jacob. She was even more furious at the Jenna girl now, not that it mattered.
"I can't...believe....," Liv just shook her head and wiped her eyes, which were wet again from hearing about the tragedy.
"Something like that....but it's not the same thing as when he's around Addie, I know that....I know that she's....a different kind of special," she replied.
