Nope! :O And you were right about getting more on the tax return. I'm getting over 500 though I could have gotten more if I claimed myself... But if I did, then that would have taken 1k away from my mom and I knew if I did do it, she'd guilt trip me about it later. rolleyes

I.... watched Hannah Montana.

There really must not have been anything else to do. gonk

I would rather repeatedly slam a 2x4 into my head than watch Hannah Montana.

It was better than football. It doesn't help that I don't understand the rules or scoring of football. And if you watch enough Hannah Montana, your brain goes numb and you find it mildly entertaining. 3nodding

I have no idea what you're talking about. sweatdrop But, I'd think if she couldn't her friend (who did my taxes for free) would know and would have told her. She works with H and R Block.

I just know my Mom couldn't claim me when I was 18 and claimed my own tax return. And I was still living with her at the time.

Weird.. My mom supports me at least fifty percent so it's why she can do it.

If you're a full-time student, the age is raised from 18 (rather under 19) to 23 (rather under 24.)

If you provide over half your own support in either case, you can't be claimed.
