"Not the same way I like you." Lily whispered, sitting almost gingerly on the edge of the bed. "But... he was Cerri's first love, and I... I want to make a good impression. I wanted him to like me. Tomokazu-kun Tomo rested his hand on her belly and smiled, "Oh, Rhi was the same way. It was thrilling." He said, tail swaying happily, "It's even better when you physically start feeling him. Kaia said she could feel Liam just the other day." He sighed contently, glad the other Uehara survived suspended animation in the angelic world. Baizou tapped his chin, "Actually, it was a mug that she threw... And it was aimed at me." he said, nodding. "But do not worry, she was able to stop it before it hit me..."((miles, only one is female....)) "That's awesome! So Liam and Abrani won't be too much apart age-wise," she said happily. She looked down with a soft smile on her face, wishing the same thing she had for the last few months. The kitsune sighed and shook her head. "At least they are both safe here..."

Miles was getting sick of this, and kicked the door with his foot because he was holding a basket of loundry in his hands.

Tomo nodded, "Now that I have my body and magic to myself again, I can devote them to protecting everyone in the Muffin. Especially the younglings." He smiled stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Those maternity clothes Ukaia made were really comfy. I'm gonna miss them..."
"I love Ellie and she can terrify me at times!" Baizou exclaimed, laughing, "What you must understand is that people are very complicated. I should know. I spent my entire life as one and I still do not understand them."

Lily trilled softly, snuggling close. "Thank you. And it's okay... you don't have to tell me those kinds of things." She jumped a bit at the kick on the door, then sighed, kissing Arlen lightly before standing to open it. "Yes?"

"Maternity clothes! That's what I was needing to get!" Kaen thumped herself in the forehead with the heel of her hand. "I have several kimonos but I can only wear those for so long."

Trian laughed softly, amused by the statement. "Yes...very complicated...though I try." She said, picking up her glass and taking a sip.
Richard raised an eyebrow. "In my homeland, the women ruled as well, but were cruel in nature. Only my sister is the known exception, and she still rules though she is gentle."

"Laundry?" Lily asked blankly, then shrugged and took it from him, setting the basket on the floor to put away later. "And I'm cuddling with my fiancee. Is that against the rules or something?" she asked, blinking, apparently completely forgetting the rather public spat she and Arlen had just had.

Tomo shrugged, "You can borrow mine if you want." He offered, unsure of how she'd feel about borrowing a man's maternity clothes. "Kaia bought some too that you can use. She's a month ahead of you so as she grows out of hers, she can give them to you."
Baizou nodded, "I would not try too hard. We have been trying to figure ourselves out for billions of years. We have not made any progress."

Arlen frowned as he listened to Lily talk with Miles. He didn't like the idea of another man handling his clothes, and he was perfectly capable of washing them on his own, though why he hadn't been doing so was beyond him.
"In Aeaea the public opinion is that women tend to be more peaceful and level headed than men. While most people know that it is not always the case it is the reason that women are the only true rulers. Occasionally a man will rule while the next Dutchess is beeing appointed or looking for her husband as I am," Lady Crystal explained, obviously proud of her country.

"No. We're fine. Thank you though." With that, wanting to get back to the making-up part of the fight, Lily smiled, then gently closed the door before walking back to Arlen and curling up on the bed with him again.
