Kemono looked at Sari and shook his head, rubbing his ankel before setting it down again. "I want to train as hard as possible! The mizukage told me about the upcoming chunin exams!" He smiled excited, the exams were in konoha as usual and he wanted to be ready.

Sari smiled a bit, punching his shoulder lightly.
"Haha... you won't be able to participate if you don't let that ankle heal...." She looked up and sighed a bit. "Just like I wasn't.."

Kemono slid his sword back into the sheath she made for him last night. "Fine~!" He plopped down and rubbed behind Tayu's ears. "Why couldn't you participate?"

Tayu purred and curled up beside him.
Sari sighed and plopped down in front of Kemono, rubbing her arms.
"I'm deaf.... it was really hard before I learned to see sound.." She looked down, then at Tayu. "Tayu helped with my hearing problem... she still helps me if my eyes are closed..."

Kemono's jaw dropped as he was messaging his ankel. "Huh? I never knew that!" He poked her cheek. "How about you try this year? I bet they'll let you in this time!"

Sari sighed.
"I don't know... it's been so long." She looked in to Kemono's eyes. "I don't really think there's a point, Hari puts me on jounin missions all the time.." She felt her skin tingle from looking at him.

Kemono looked down sad, showing he was scared of the exams too. "I-I'm scared...I heard tales of people dying just in the chunin exams, and no one else in Kiri is going...it's why I'm training hard, if no one else goes then I got to protect myself! Those leaf ninja's are strong and aren't afraid to kill...t-those cloud ninja's are even more deadly!" He was being paranoid and over reacting.

Sari sighed and made him look at her by holding his head in her hands.
"Listen Kemono, when my sister said you are strong, she wasn't lying. I can feel it too.. right her at my fingertips. You can't get nervous or too paranoid.. it won't work, you WILL fail. Just to make you feel better I will go.."

Kemono got wide eyed at her but smiled, she was right, he was getting too nervous about failing and he might fail if he was paranoid. He had to think positive about the exams. "You will? Then I promise to pass no matter what!" he smiled big and hugged her.

Sari stiffened a bit when he hugged her, surprised, then hugged him back, smiling.
"good... I don't want you to fail..."
Tayu nudged Kemono, trying to hint at something, Sari was completely ignoring her.

Kemono looked at Tayu with a raised eyebrow, completely oblivious. "What up Tayu? You need something?" He was still hugging Sari.

Tayu nudged him again and looked at Sari.
Sari looked at Tayu, raising her eye brow as well. Her face was close to Kemono's and even she didn't notice.
"What's up girl?"
Tayu nudged Kemono again.

Kemono blinked a bit before shrugging and looking back to Sari, smacking lip to lip on accident. His eyes grew wide as the moon almost, his blush even went bright red before he fainted from the shock.

Sari was also shocked but she didn't have the same reaction as Kemono, she held him up as much as possible, Tayu was snickering. Sari sighed and rolled Kemono on to Tayu and began to walk home, the tiger carrying the unconscious Kemono on her back.

Kemono was out cold, mostly to rest and from the throbbing pain, the shock of kissing her had dealt the knock out blow. He was smiling though, he had enjoyed his first kiss for the first five seconds he had been awake to see it.
Kiku looked at the Kikukage with a raised eyebrow but sighed. "Fine...it's good pay anyway!" He made a excuse, grabbing the sword, it was to be delivered to a small village about two hours away, he had forgotten the danger of that prediction, that the killer had escaped and was after him again. "Need anything else?"
