Mizaka swung the door open with all her might. A feeling of relief washed over her when she saw the figures within the Common Room.
"Are you guys alright? What happened to this place?" She quickly noticed Lavi's bloodied leg and the way he wobbled slightly. "Oh, bloody hell, boy! Who did this to you?!" Mizaka ran up to his side and supported him so he wouldn't lose his balance.

Kiah gave them a long look before breaking out in a warm smile, glad to see them both relatively okay and back home where they belong. She was still worried about their wounds, so she sent a message to the nurses, telling them to bring stretchers. She smiled bitterly, wondering if they'd come or think she was lying, as they had when she'd called them to help Cross before.
"Thank goodness! We were so worried about you two!" She started a bit when Mizaka slammed the door open, causing the sound to ricochet around the room. She held a hand to her chest and glanced at Mizaka in relief, rushing over to Sil and grabbing her arm to steady her.

Mizaka looked over at Sil with great concern. She seemed to be faring off worse than Lavi was. Rubbing her temples, Mizaka let out a long sigh and looked around the Common Room before fixing her gaze on Kiah.
"I bet there's a long explanation for this..."

"Hey Kiah," Sil said, trying to keep her voice nonchalant like she hadn't been gone to begin with, but the smile on her face was unparalleled. Even though she was not in good shape at the moment, the warmth of it reached all the way to her eyes. "I'm so glad you're okay... I'm sorry I missed all the action..."
For the time being she wouldn't let go of Lavi, still holding on tight to him like he might disappear if she let go. However, her selfishness in the situation quickly dissipated when Lavi wobbled and her attention was quickly drawn to the blood soaking through his leg. "Lavi!" The sudden exclamation hurt her tired voice and she sputtered a cough, releasing him and taking her own weight without any ease of it. Even with her foot injured she forced it to bear some weight, wincing openly and bending her knee, but managing to hold her own balance. Kiah had perfect timing, and as her stupidity quickly gave way she was able to lean some on the other girl with concern wrought on her features. Had Lavi really come after her in such a bad state himself? How badly had Jacob hurt him?
"This conversation is one I want to hear... I think I missed a lot while I was on vacation..." she grimaced a little, trying to get it into a smile, but couldn't quite yet. She still couldn't believe she was even standing here, that their home was still intact... but it still left the questions buzzing around her head: was Cross okay...? Where were the others...? How many had died...? The questions just wouldn't stop, and she wasn't sure she could take much more of it. Consciousness was quickly becoming a struggle; the adrenaline faded, and took the energy along with it until she couldn't stay upright any longer.
((... Sadly, I actually need to head to bed too. >:c I'm still worn out from contimez. The nurses can just yeah ;u; I'm so happy to have Sil back in useable range so I can actually RP with you guys! LOL.

"You have no idea..." Kiah simply gave her a tired look, summarizing the events of the past few days.
"Yeah, I'm alright... but we need to get you to the nurses." Just as Kiah said that, Sil started wobbling, making her call out in alarm. She managed to catch the injured girl and saw that she was unconscious, causing her to curse. At that point the nurses arrived, putting Sil and Lavi on the stretchers and taking them away. Kiah followed them to the infirmary and settled in a chair where they'd be sleeping. She kept her hand on her pistol, ready to guard them both to the death so they could get some well-deserved rest.
(( Liv: Wow... I love the emotions on their faces. I'll still have to listen to three hours of cheery music to balance it out, though.
I've got to go to sleep too... I'll see you guys later! ))

"Hell..."
Mizaka looked down at the floor as the nurses took the injured to the infirmary. She didn't bother to move from her spot when Kiah followed them out of the room, leaving her alone...well, almost alone. Jack emerged from the shadows and walked up to his Master.
"Now this is quite something. They're not too different from us, are they?" He looked at Mizaka. "I know it isn't our place to interfere, but I would like to help them somehow."
"Help? How can we help when it's against our orders?" Mizaka clenched her fists. "Our job is to collect Vengeful Spirits and nothing else. If we did anything beyond that, the higher-ups will have our heads..."
"Well...the least we could do is keep guard for the rest of the night..." Jack moved towards a chair and rested himself on it. "Our friends are in poor condition. We should at least make sure that no enemies will try to intrude on them while they're gathering their strength." Mizaka stayed silent for a while before finally nodding.
"Yeah...we could do that..." She let out a sad sigh. Never has she felt so useless...
