Lavi was unable to thank Luci before she left. He had popped his head around the corner and his eyes were fixed on the red door behind which she had said Sil was. He trusted this to be true, trusted the young girl not to have led him in a trap of some sort. When the door suddenly opened, he whirled his head back around the corner and stood closely against the wall, his fingers curling once again around the little hammer in his pocket. There were two sets of footsteps and he could hear them getting softer, their owners moving further away. Fortunately for him, because if they had been in there with Sil, there was a big change they were Noah and he wasn't sure he could handle that.
After standing there for a while, the hallway now completely quiet, he peeked around the corner again, making sure it was as deserted as he thought. Then he made his way to the door. Even though he wanted to just burst in there as quickly as possible, his mind told him to not start being reckless when he was so close. Holding his ear to the door, as he had done many times before, he couldn't hear a thing. He then grabbed the doorknob and turned it, his heart pounding in his ears. The door swung open slowly and he wouldn't even have been able to check the room for Noah if he had wanted to, his gaze immediately pulled to the girl tied down in the middle of the room.
It was like someone was squeezing his heart very tight when he saw her, taking in the blood on her shirt and her general bashed state. "Sil!" He gasped and he rushed to her side, dropping down to his knees beside her. He gingerly took her face in his hands and lifted it up. When he noticed she was still breathing, he sighed a little, relieved he'd found her before they had decided they were through with her.

((Target practice? T^T I do not approve. And yes, he is a cat of many stories. I wonder if I can link that vid to you. He's... just really the sweetest cat ever... I really mean that. I have never met a cat as sweet as he is. He's just... copious amounts of retarded. I do mean copious.

((Wtf =A= Facebook just sucks in general. LOL.
I DISAGREE HEAVILY. *Likes cats better than dogs, but is part of a minority.* My kitties are so lovely. ;-; They also smell wonderful. I kid you not. Mair smells like roses. It's pretty much the weirdest thing ever. Either he has a mistress somewhere who wears perfume or he rolls in rose bushes while we're not looking... Even my parents are like "wtf..."))
It took Sil a long moment to register that someone was touching her, especially in a kind way, but after the last few hours her body reacted immediately to any kind of touch in a fearful way. A soft whimper slipped out of her throat, and as she came around and her brown eyes fluttered open, she made out the sight of the familiar face of her best friend and love. At first a flutter of excitement filled her, but the pain that came back to her quickly reminded her of where she was and she recoiled violently.
"Don't touch me," she stated sharply, though her voice was nearly gone. She wouldn't look him in the eye, seeming to assume that it was only a matter of time before Lulubell would be attacking her with Lavi's form as well; she couldn't bear the idea of watching him hurt her like that. Even if she tried to force her, she couldn't stand the idea of that being the last way that she would ever see Lavi. "If you're going to kill me just do it already..."
