Lavi looked at the object Liv had given him. He recognized it, she had used it when she disappeared with that Akuma in the lake. He nodded as she explained how he should use it, letting her know he understood. He put it around his own neck and stuffed it down his shirt, grasping it tightly through the fabric for a moment.
When she hugged him, he really thought about what she was doing for the first time. He didn't know what she was risking by bringing him here, what they would do to her if they found out. He hoped they cared as much for her as she did for them, as he did, and that she would be safe.
He followed her to the door, heart pounding in his chest. Before he stepped out into the hall, he gave her a little smile, incredibly grateful for what she was doing, considering what she might be risking. "Thank you, Liv..." He shook his head a little. "I don't... blame you, you know. I just wish... you weren't with the Noah." The smile turned sad, as he didn't know if he would ever see her again, at least not in the way things used to be. He was going to miss her immensely. He thanked her softly one last time before he stepped out into the hallway, starting his nerve-wracking journey through the Noah mansion.

The halls were deserted in that area of the Mansion, and they went in every direction. The place was like a maze for anyone who hadn't been there for a very long time. Some rooms were completely empty, and some were filled with lavish furniture and decor.
Some of the larger main rooms were to include a Library, Game Room, Ballroom, and the Baths. There was also an inner courtyard, as well as the main grounds around the entirety of the building. The Mansion spanned several stories as well. Here and there were Akuma servants, going about their duties.
