Lavi was waking up again. His sedation was wearing off, and he felt the pain in his arms and leg return gradually. It wasn't as bad as the last time he had woken up, though, but it was still considerable enough to make him wince. He stirred a little, expecting a nurse to top up the medication, as they had done every time. When nothing happened, though, he slowly opened his eye. He wasn't met with the bright light of the infirmary, as he had expected. The light in this room was more dull, and it was very quiet. He wondered whether maybe it was late, and everyone was asleep. In the corner of his eye, he could see a figure, and when he turned his head a little he realized it was Liv.
Surprised, he shot upright, regretting the sudden movement instantly. He held his head as dizziness hit him. Noticing the bandages on his raised arm, he had a good look at himself for the first time when the dizziness had gone. His lower arms and his hands were wrapped up in bandages, only his fingertips left bare, as they had been mostly protected from Jacob's flames when they were curled around his hammer. His left leg was bound up to just above his knee, the leg of his pants rolled up to that point. He looked around the room a bit, his heartbeat rising as he realized he definitely wasn't in the infirmary anymore, before returning his gaze to Liv, eyeing her warily. He felt something move against his lips when opened his mouth to say something. Reaching up, he found his headband tied around his mouth and he quickly removed it, dropping it on the bed.
"Liv...? What the hell?" He coughed a little and held his throat, his voice still a little rough. "Where... am I?" He asked her, although he already had an idea what the answer might be, dread rising inside him as he wondered what was going to happen to him. If this place was what he thought it was, Liv wouldn't be the only one around.

Liv smiled a little weakly as she watched Lavi wake up. She was glad he didn't scream, and she picked his headband up when he dropped it. She played with it a little in her hands, folding it different ways and she looked at him, sighing.
"We're at the Noah Mansion, Lavi...please-don't freak out," she added hurredly, "This is my room...We're alone here for right now."
She looked down, quiet for a little, trying not to cry. She was ashamed that she had betrayed the Noah, and she was ashamed that she hadn't done more to help her Exorcist friends, too. She felt guilty for what had happened to Lavi. She tried to ignore his injuries, but she couldn't help looking at them.
She continued slowly, "I brought you here...under the guise that I've captured you...for torture. But- that's not really why I brought you here, Lavi....I'm..so, so sorry. It's my fault, everything..."
Liv couldn't keep her tears back and she flopped over onto the bed, crying into the bedcovers. She hadn't expected to fall apart like this. She merely wanted to explain to Lavi her plan, but everything from the past few days caved in on her suddenly.

He paled a little when she confirmed his suspicions, but he didn't feel too worried with just her there. Despite the fact that she was with the Noah, he didn't for one second think she would hurt him. His eyebrows were knotted as he listened to her speak, and when she started crying on the bed he tried to ignore it. She was with the enemy, after all... After everything that had happened, things couldn't just go back to the way they were before. Slowly, though, a frown formed on his face and he put a hand on her back, shushing her softly, unable to ignore her any longer. "It's okay, Liv... It's not your fault..." Despite everything, he couldn't really be mad at her. She had risked a lot to warn them, even though it didn't really come on time and he knew she never wanted any of this.
He wondered what it was she had brought him here for, but he had to ask her something else first. Closing his eye, inhaling sharply as he readied himself mentally for the answer, he asked her the one thing that had been on his mind the whole time. "Is... Sil okay?"

Liv continued to cry, and when Lavi finally put his hand on her shoulder she calmed down some. However once he asked that dreadful question, her shoulders shuddered in another terrible sob. She knew Sil was being tortured, probably by Lulubell. She knew what Lulubell was capable of...
"That's...w-why I brought you here," she finally sat up again, wiping her tears and looking at him.
"They're...t-torturing her, Lavi. I know it. I b-brought you here so you c-can rescue her," Liv hiccuped a little.
