Jacob looked at liv warily, then over to cross. "...." He glanced at kiah a moment, "...she's nothing but a tool...and tyki's pet. She served her purpose..." he said to her cruelly about liv. He walked over to cross and pulled the flame from the man's chest easily. The fire disappeared and Jacob glared into cross's eyes. "...this sin't finished...i WILL be the one to end you..." he said and suddenly reached back and punched the man as hard as he could in the gut, watching him double over in pain. "remember...i still have your girl..." he threatened. He looked to Liv and told her to lead the way, leaving Kiah to handle cross on her own, "...oh...and doll...if you thought that little trinket of yours would do much of anything...you would be sadly mistaken" he said to her before he left with Liv to go find a sedated lavi to steal.
((and with that i have to go...so liv can take us back to the mansion?))

Cross let out another gasp as the fire was suddenly taken from him. It left him feeling ill, and he became sick as he hunched over on the floor. He had no time to say anything to Jacob before he was leaving with Liv, but the words he spoke resonated in his ears.
He looked at Kiah, and without saying anything to her, muttered the spell that would hide him from the world. He disappeared with Maria, to who knows where.

Also... I laughed so hard yesterday because a girl (who I didn't know) ran by me yesterday and went "OH MY GOD IT'S HOBO LAVI." I'm pleased to discover I'm not the only one who calls that outfit that.))

Liv told Jacob to leave her, her tone cold. This wasn't her Jacob anyway. She could handle taking Lavi herself, he was still unconscious in the infirmary. She hoped Kiah would understand why she was doing this, but doubted she would deduce the real reason. Slipping through the halls avoiding everyone, she paused outside the infirmary. Taking a deep breath, she started to turn the dial on her compass for what felt like the millionth time.
Bursting through the door, she dashed past nurses, pushing anyone in her path. She spotted Lavi easily, and at the last second, she was at his side, grasping his limp hand in her own. She took both of them back to the Mansion, to her own room. She was supposed to take him somewhere else, but she had to speak with him first.
With effort, she laid his limp body on her bed. She waited at his side until he would wake. He would be in for a surprise when he awoke, that was for sure...he might even scream. At that thought, Liv quickly took his headband and tied it over his mouth instead. She couldn't have anyone hearing them when he woke up.

Absolutely seething, yet knowing she couldn't leave Cross in this state, Kiah unloaded her bullets into the ceiling, feeling the dust rain down on her and listening to the echo of the gunshots. She grabbed her communication device and send out an order for the nurses to come, and turned around to see to Cross. When she found him gone, she froze for a second before grabbing the nearest thing she could find, which was a book, and whipping it at the wall, huffing in anger.
She'd seen the look on Liv's face, yes, but it still didn't make her feel any better since she couldn't do anything to help Lavi. Scratch that, she couldn't help anyone, if Cross's disappearing act meant anything. Kiah walked over to where Cross previously was and dropped down to her knees, fighting back tears in her eyes, and gripping her arm with her nails in frustration. No matter how bad everything got around her, she remembered what was said to her once. You don't cry if you know what's good for you. You never cry.
